Located in the gated community of Bahia de Matagorda, this 3 bedroom/2 bath condo is the perfect addition to your vacation plans.

We have named this little piece of Heaven, Nancy’s Nest. Freshly renovated in 2021, the condo overlooks the lagoon and is minutes from Matagorda Beach.

You can relax, swing, sunbathe, or enjoy catch/release fishing from our private deck.
The community pool is walking distance. It includes a Club House, public restrooms, ice machine, and washateria.

Nancy’s Nest is equipped with WiFi and Directv. Living area is open concept, and spacious to entertain family and friends. Dine at the open bar area, that seats up to 6.

Downstairs: Open concept living and kitchen area to include smart TVs, Bedroom 1: king bed with smart tv, Bedroom 2: queen bed with smart tv, Tub/shower combo

Upstairs: 2 full beds, walk-in shower

Parking: 3 vehicle max, any additional vehicles must park at Club House

For your stay, you will need to bring your own toiletries, beach gear, and beach towels. Locally you can purchase fresh seafood, but we ask that all raw seafood and/or bait be kept in a personal cooler.

Relaxing stay
We really enjoyed our two night stay at Nancy’s Nest. It was the perfect spot for our families relaxing weekend. It had everything we needed and was very clean and comfortable. The bottom deck was our favorite hang out spot and my teens really enjoyed the corn hole boards. We would definitely stay again!!

Nice little getaway
We enjoyed going to Colorado river where it connects to the ocean. We went kayaking over there. We enjoyed a day at the beach, be careful of the jellyfish! We went to the pool many times, and as a family played games. The only downfall was the community washer worked but the dryer didn’t. It would have been nice being a family of 6 to have that access. Next time we will look for a unit with a washer and dryer. Overall we loved the place we stayed in!

Good visit. It’s nice to have access to HOA pool in neighborhood. Loved the extra blankets in living room for cozy TV watching after a day in the sun.

We came for a long weekend and rented this place which was great-clean, amenities provided, comfortable and right on the water with a walking path to the beach. Definitely recommend this condo and location.

The porch was awesome and peaceful. The stairs leading to the upstairs bedroom are a bit narrow. But other than that the home was clean and time spent there was very restful.

When I booked my weekend I wasn’t sure what to expect but walking through the front door at the condo immediately put me in a happy mood. The place was immaculate and perfect in every way. They views during the day are gorgeous it was a perfect get away. My family and I will definitely be booking more stays with Jessie and Jay.

My overall expectations of the beach was awesome.!! It’s been beautifully remodeled and updated. Plenty of seating in the kitchen/living areas to accommodate friends. I had a great and enjoyable time there. The only downfall is the property managers. It seems that they are a married couple and they live at the clubhouse located by the community pool. They aren’t the friendliest when interacting with guests and they do drive around the property several times a day to view order. And to be honest it almost made us feel slightly uncomfortable when I woke up one morning and saw the property manager (the husband I assume) was walking around by our vehicles downstairs.

To short of a visit! Didn't want to leave.
We loved our stay and will definitely be back! Between swimming at the pool and play at the beach grandkids had a blast. The excitement of our little one ages 6, 3 & 2 catching fish and crab from the comfort of the shaded porch was a highlight each morning. Would definitely recommend!

Weekend get away
We stayed here last year and had a great time. So peaceful and relaxing. We decided to do again. Love the upgrades. Very clean. Wished there was directv to watch the astros but we still had a great time. Wonderful weekend. Looking forward to doing again next year.

Labor Day weekend getaway
Had a great weekend with family and friends. The new remodeling of the home was noticed and appreciated. Very nice. Coffee on the deck in morning and stars at night over the water was amazing. You do need to bring what you need for the beach, but there were also no bath towels found so bring extra or use your beach towels. A store not too far away for other needs. The sand driving to the beach was too soft and thick to drive on for most of our vehicles, but the use of the pool was an incredible preference. We don't live too far from a beach anyway. A walkable path from the neighborhood would be nice. Only downfalls witnessed were from others in the area. The rules seemed like guidlines. Didn't witness any enforcement. Ex: Couple groups catching and keeping fish and crabs from the lake. Even after we explained they weren't supposed too they just glared at us. People drinking, eating and smoking in the pool. Glass bottles used also. These were not isolated incidents or they wouldn't be worth mentioning. Overall a great time and hopefully we can return again soon. Thank you for a great stay.
