About this property
Villa beach Favone sea view beach north PortoVec 4or2bedrooms possible-boulodrome
We're a Breton family and we love authentic places. We have spent many holidays in Corsica and dreamt of having a place there. That dream came true at Favone, above Porto Veccio, a magical place with pink granite rocks that remind us of our native Perros-Guirec. The beach is incredible, with miles of white sand that looks like a lagoon. But what's even more incredible is that the mountains meet the sea and when you swim, you see the Needles of Babel in it.
The villa has the atmosphere of a Creole house. It is set in an oasis of greenery and is bordered by huge terraces with sea views.
You'll spend most of your time outside, having all your meals on the large terrace... although the interior is very pleasant with its large living space comprising a large open-plan kitchen, a lovely dining room and a large lounge.
There is also an outdoor shower.
A private gated residence, Serenamore is made up of just 12 villas. Our villa is number 12 and is the first on your right. It is easily recognisable with its huge cork oak tree bordering the large car park, where you can park your vehicles easily.
To get to the beach, you don't need to take your car and you can walk down to the beach. In season you can have lunch or dinner here as there are restaurants/bars right on the beach.
We have created our own boulodrome and you can play pétanque :)
The beach at Favone (or Favona) in southern Corsica, in the Porto-Vecchio region, is a place we really enjoyed. With its white sand and turquoise waters, this beach offers an idyllic setting for an unforgettable day out. What's more, it has plenty of facilities to help you relax and make the most of your stay.
- Less than 30 km ½ hour to get to Porto Vecchio
- Jets, boats and buggies are available for hire, as are kite-surfing, windsurfing, water-skiing, guided fishing, diving, etc. Bar and restaurants right on the beach.
How to get there - access road
Plage de Favone in Southern Corsica can be reached by following the main T10 road along the island's east coast. The beach is easily accessible thanks to a tarmac road, which makes getting there much easier.
Between Solenzara and Porto Vecchio, Anse de Favone is the ideal place to visit in southern Corsica, a dreamy beach with white sand and reddish rocks that invites you to discover authentic Corsica.
- Close to the beaches of Cannedda, Tarco, Fautea, Pinarellu, Palombaggia, Santa Giulia and Bonifacio, Favone is a lively town full of family activities and thrills.
One of the many Genoese towers, that of Fautea bears witness to the history that made Corsica what it is today.
These towers, known as "Sintineddi" (sentinels), have always watched over the Isle of Beauty.
Between the sea, the scrubland and the mountains, the nearby restaurants offer fresh fish, local delicacies, Corsican wines and liqueurs, and platters of cold meats and cheeses.
Leaving from Bonifacio or Solenzara, you can reach the Col de Bavella, culminating at 1243m, by crossing the Ospedale forest, which offers a superb view of the Gulf of Porto Vecchio.
The mountain offers a range of hiking options, accessible to all.
