Warm temperatures and plenty of sunshine have arrived in the OBX! Enjoy Rowen's OBX Studio apartment located in Kill Devil Hills (5.5 milepost) just steps away from beautiful Bay Drive. The Studio is quaint and comfortable, located on the ground level of our home with a private entrance.......PERFECT for couples or the single traveler. We live upstairs full-time, so you may see us working in the yard or coming and going from time to time. Don't hesitate to say "hello" or ask questions. Currently, we require a 4 night minimum however, will consider 2 and 3 day rentals if days are available on the calendar. Message us to request a 2 or 3 day rental. The Studio has a comfortable queen size bed, full bath, kitchenette with full size refrigerator/ice maker, microwave, new (2023) 55' smart TV, and complimentary Wifi.

Perfect! - just as described

The studio is lovely, comfortable, quiet and spacious. The linens and towels are so nice and smelled so clean. I really appreciated how the listing describes exactly what is provided. I would definitely rent it again!

Fantastic Studio Space Great Location

This studio is outstanding. Clean, friendly and well appointed. Great location, very close to the sound walking & biking trails, and the neighborhood is very quiet away from all of the Rt 158 road noise. I will stay again on my next trip to the OBX. Recommend highly.

The property was very clean and the hosts were nice. We were hoping to be able to walk to the beach but that’s not possible from this property but that only slightly disrupted our plans. Beautiful place and very nice quiet neighborhood!

The Perfect Stay

The studio was extremely clean, organized, and perfect size for a couple. Necessities were provided and everything was very comfortable. Our hosts were super accommodating and welcoming with their space. Nice to have very friendly hosts. They give great recommendations for restaurants in the area. Kill Devil Grill and The Black Pelican are a must visit. Super close to many parts of OBX and all of the public beaches. Would definitely stay again! Thank you!

First Trip to OBX

This was my first trip to the Outer Banks and it did not disappoint. This studio was fully equipped with everything we needed and was just a short drive to public beach access!

Our stay in Kill Devil Hills

This property was in an excellent location. We walked to the public pier and gazebo overlooking the bay and it was just a few minutes drive to the beach, coffee and restaurants. About mid way point to all of OBX. It was a perfect size for two people will full amenities. Very nice and very clean. Would definitely stay again

Welcoming Decor and pleasant atmosphere.

We enjoyed everything regarding our stay at the Studio. The owners were informative, yet allowed Privacy. It was peaceful and the decor was lovely And inviting. It was also convenient, near the beautiful sound. We would do it again.

Cozy get away

My husband and I enjoyed a quick get away weekend and stayed in this quaint and cozy studio. The room was a great place for us to kick back in the evening, and it had everything we needed. It was clean, nicely decorated, and the bed was comfortable. The owners were quick to respond when we had a question. This is definitely a great place to stay!

OBX Getaway

This place is great!

Me and my Husband stayed for almost a week and love every minute of it. The room was spotless upon our arrival with everything in tack. Donna and Rick were also great! They were very welcoming and always there to help if we needed. They made our stay perfect! We will 100% stay here again and recommend anyone to stay too!

Perfect OBX Hideaway

Anyone looking for the perfect quiet spot, look no further! Far enough away from the hustle to be able to relax but close enough to never be bored. This place was immaculate, comfortable and perfect hiding spot. If you get a chance to meet hosts Rick & Donna, they are the kind of people you instantly feel a connection with. This is definitely a location we will be visiting again!

Great location and place!

My mom and I loved the place! The studio was very clean and very spacious! We could walk to the sound side every night to see the sunset, and a quick drive to the beach! We will for sure be back again!

Exceeded My Expectations

This was my first trip to the Outer Banks. I picked Donna and Ricks’s studio because the pictures were very nice, and it was a part of and yet separate (with separate entrance/bathroom/kitchenette) from their personal living space. Traveling alone, it was important to me to be in a safe space in a safe neighborhood. I loved EVERYTHING about this rental: the beautiful architecture, extremely comfortable furniture, mattress and bedding, great water pressure, very clean, and quiet. The neighborhood is nice, and I encountered many friendly faces (people and doggies) on my evening walk. If I could give Donna and Rick’s studio more than 5 stars, I would. I’ll definitely be returning.

Couple getaway first time to OBX

Perfect Spot to Wind Down After Long Day

If you're looking for a small place to get a good night's rest after being out all day, this is your place! Location was great as we bounced around between Nags Head & up to Corolla. Very clean and had everything we needed for a 4-night trip to OBX.
