Nice stay

Great stay & they were very accommodating! A lot of restaurants & bars in walking distance. Pool was nice but cold, did eventually get use to it. Thank you!

Wonderful Safety Harbor Getaway

We have stayed at Mike’s home the last 2 years. The house has very nice accommodations and everything you need is supplied. Mike is quite kind and is available if you have a need. The backyard has a well maintained pool, plenty of outdoor space, lots of chairs and tables with a fire pit. The yard is fenced so it is great to bring your dog. This home is just 2 blocks from downtown Main st. An Art and Music Center is right around the corner. There are many restaurants and bars with plenty of music available. There are many activities held on the main drag and also by the open space behind the beautiful Safety Harbor spa right by the bay. The home is in a nice neighborhood. The area, including Main St is great for walking and only 1/2 mile to the boardwalk that runs along the bay. Highly recommend this home for a Safety Harbor getaway! We love it!

Lovely stay at Harbor Haven

Everything as it was described and any questions, Mike was quick to respond. My brother lives a block over so the location was perfect to walk to his house and into town. Loved our stay and looking forward to returning again.

Never Disappoints

Comfortable Pool Home

The house was vey nice and the pool was a bonus. It was great being so close to downtown Safety Harbor and totally walkable, if weather permitted. The space was very comfortable.

Had a wonderful time visting family over the holidays and visting this beautiful town. The house had everything we needed and the location was a plus+++. The shops and restaurants were a short walk away. We will return!

Summer Vacation 2021

We really enjoyed this house! It was the perfect size for three people. The pool area is very nice. The kitchen is well-equipped. Downtown Safety Harbor is a short walk away and loaded with interesting restaurants and sites to see.

Good time

Enjoyed the short walk to downtown Safety Harbor. Cool little town with plenary of restaurants and bars. Along with shopping and ice cream/candy stores for the kids. I would come back again

Amazing Gem

The house was a fabulous find - so clean and well-stocked with a location that could not be beat, walking distance to downtown where there were many restaurants, breweries, and shops. Easy for two couples to share comfortably and a bonus of being dog friendly. Communication with the hosts was quick and easy.

Well stocked peacefull cottage convenient to downtown

2 weeks of fishing, dining and quiet downtown walks in the evenings. Close to everything you will need but you won’t need much as this cottage feeling home is incredibly well stocked with everything from paper goods to a cooler and nice beach chairs. Pool lanai and private back yard are perfect for the down days when you feel like just reading a book grilling and getting sun. Highly recommended!

Nice little house with pool

Nice little spot for couple or small family. Wonderful lanai with pool outback. Check in process was smooth. Host responsive. Clean with comfortable beds. House does allow dogs and has carpet so not a good option for individuals with allergies. The area is nice, within walking distance to the art display-whimsey land.

Amazing time

Very nice time. The back yard was amazing. I could of just stayed back there all week. The gas grill was not working properly, I let Mike know and he brought a brand new one over. The house was clean and very well maintained Thank you for letting me make good memories with my daughter. I will definitely rent again when I come back to Florida

Very nice property and owner

The description was accurate, and the property did not disappoint. Everything was clean and worked well. The property was very well-stocked. Being only 2 short blocks from Main St. and the many shops & restaurants was ideal for us. Then there was the owner. He was wonderful to work with and was very responsive. In fact, when I thought I left my wallet at the house he went there twice for me. Thankfully it turned up elsewhere. I would definitely recommend this home and would stay there again.

Perfect place for our little family

This house was perfect for our little family trip! The house was very clean and well maintained. Completely stocked with more things you would need! Beach chairs, cooler, towels, the kitchen was fully stocked for everything we needed to cook meals there. The pool was clean and so nice right out our back doors. The beds we’re comfortable as well. Really convenient and walkable to little fun downtown area of safety harbor. 25 min Drive to Clearwater beaches but during this busy week of spring break we were grateful to be in a quiet space with our 4 year old! We celebrated her birthday and it was great! Thank you Mike and Donna for such a great place to stay! The DeSotos

Safety Harbor

The home was good for us and we absolutely loved Safety Harbor. A few suggestions for improvements at the property: fix slow draining draining bath tub and slow running water in kitchen. Also, pool would be SO much more usable if it were heated. Water temperature never got above 72 degrees 🙁We knew when we rented it was unheated, just didn’t expect it to be so cold in 85 degree weather.

Stay for Adrenal Surgery and recovery for husband

We loved our stay at Mike and Donna's place. Any questions we had were addressed. The pool was an added bonus for much needed respite time while my husband had his adrenal removed and recovery. If we could have stayed an extra week w it being available we would have. Everything was cute in this little bungalo and the grass too outside the pool area was great for our service dogs to potty and walk and play a bit. The neighborhood we found to be quiet and neighbors too. The town is very cute and we got home made cheese cake there and the shops are great on Main st as well as Harbor Pets was wonderful and we had a great doggy sitter one day while my hubby was in hospital and Sheryl our sitter was recommended by Kelly and Mary at Harbor Pets. We used her 2 days and she too was excellent. Dr. Carling in Tampa is the best surgeon for adrenal surgery too and Safety Harbor is only 20 min away if someone needs to come for thyroid, adrenal and parathyroid surgery dont hesitate to stay at Mike and Donna's place for much needed respite time. We would defin..stay again. :). Thank you Mike and Donna and the sea decor is lovely too :)

Great Stay - Very clean

We have stayed in VRBO locations in the past that were not at all what they advertised. This property was everything it advertised and more. My parents live in Oldsmar and previously we had just stayed at their home, however they live there full time now and have 2 cats, so that was not an option this visit (as we have 2 dogs). We have been to Safety Harbor several times in the past for dinner or festivals so we knew the area. The fully fenced in yard was great (we could let our dogs out and still see them from the lanai). Although we did not utilize the pool as it was December and we picked the coldest week to visit (still warmer than our home state), it was clean. Mike let us know when the pool guy would be stopping by so that we could wrangle our dogs and they didn't bark. We did not see the pool man (whether he came or we just weren't around is unknown). The home had all linens and cooking utensils (although we didn't cook there), TV's with streaming apps, hair dryer and many soaps, etc (presumably left from previous guests). Although we are used to a king size bed at home, the queen bed was comfortable. We did speak with a few neighbors and all were so friendly. All in all this was a great home to stay in and would recommend to anyone in the future.
