The cabin is a perfect couples getaway.
We enjoyed the hot tub and the sounds of the creek right next to the cabin.
It’s close enough to Asheville and hiking but not too close to be too touristy.
The only thing I would mention is that the yard is not fully fenced in like it looks like on the pictures.
I specifically had chosen that cabin for that because we were bringing our dogs.
And we had some ants in the kitchen but I guess it comes with being out in nature.
Great place in the quiet of the mountains. Great space for solitude and peace. Ruver running next to the cabin makes it an even better experience. Food and town are a bit of frustrations away, but worth it if you dont plan on traveling out everyday!
The stay was nice. It was clean and they responded quickly. It was also easy tobfind and i drove in my sedan with no issues.
For the cons when i first came in it smelled real bad like mold. Then eventually i realized it was a mop buckeg they had sitting at the entrance. If you have the same experience move the mop lol.I will note its a little less private than i thought with the location of the hot tub. In the spring i imagine the trees will give more road privacy but on my trip the cars passing could see through them. Its also a cabin split into two stays but noone was on the other side during my stay.
Overall i enjoyed my stay and felt safe enough there to be alone.
I would rather give it a 4.5/5 just because it was small things! The main issues was that there was some dishes that were very dirty in the house, and the picture made it look like there was a privacy fence around the whole back. However, the latter part can fall on us for that. Otherwise, the stay was fine and we had a good wedding anniversary! It’s much further than we wanted to stay outside of Asheville, but it was a quiet area!
The cabin is amazing. The fenced in yard was incredibly convenient for our dog. The cabin was very clean. There is laundry machines in cabin too which is great. There is a 2nd cabin connected to this one. There were others staying in it during our stay and we never heard them or even crossed paths. This cabin is 100% separate from the other one (no overlapping windows/doors). I 100% recommend this place, especially if you’re bringing a pet!
This cabin was very secluded and private but a little far from downtown Asheville. It’s about 40 minutes but other than that it’s a gorgeous little place to stay. Woke up and saw bamboo out of the bedroom window
We loved this little cabin it has a beautiful stream beside it that you can hear from the hot tub. It’s pretty off the beaten path, but that’s what we wanted and we were still able to get to the city in about 30-35 minutes.
The cabin was exactly as pictured online! Hosts were quick to respond to questions through text and gave great directions to place and for check in! Very accommodating for our dogs and camper we had to park. Hot tub was great for after hiking the Blue Ridge Parkway (right up the road). Also, LOVED having a washer and dryer available (free of charge)!
Only downside was the distance to Asheville...if looking to explore the city it is a BIT of a trek. Also, the cabin is divided into TWO rentals. You have separate entrances and we never came across the other guests, but you do share walls. (Not a deal breaker, but something to know) Overall, would highly recommend staying if you are looking to escape from the real world for a couple of days (but still have wifi)!
