Chautauqua Lake - Lake Front home with 4 Bedrooms, 2.5 baths. sleeps 10, fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher, washer & dryer, coffee maker and grill. Lots of toys. 2 Kayaks, 2 SUP's, 2 Bikes, cornhole, and Lilly pad floater. Large dock platform, with 4 Adirondack chairs, at the end of dock with ladder into water. Great views of the lake from the kitchen, family room and 3 bedrooms. 3 TV's and Wifi. Large patio and side deck with plenty of outdoor seating. and firepit near the shoreline. Also, has a grill and pallet bar area on the patio. A/C only in the bedrooms, with ceiling fans throughout house.

A Special Place

Beautiful Home

We loved our stay at the lake house, the house was very clean and with a well stocked kitchen to cook . The lake views are amazing, would definitely stay again!

Great space

The layout of the house was great for our family vacation. Seating area off the living room for kids to play. Ability to close door from living room to first floor bedrooms. Fantastic outdoor space for games and enjoying the lake. Only downside was the outdoor bar was old and covered in spiderwebs. Only one of the three sliding doors on the lakeside were usable but it worked fine for us since temps were cooler. Great amenities, and kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, and even a few containers for leftovers. Really enjoyed our stay and will return if we go back to that area.

Great property

We have stayed here twice and love the location. House is clean and large enough for 8-10 people. Fishing off of the dock is great for kids, easy access, close to everything. The host is responsive to questions, concerns or needs. Overall a great enjoyable experience.

Another fantastic stay!

John’s home is welcoming and inviting! It has everything you could want and this is our second time staying here. From the kayaks, to the swim mat, the chairs on the dock and more…many memories were made! We will be back!

Beautiful property, great area

My family all agrees, this was our favorite vacation rental so far. The house and property were clean and comfortably furnished. We had a couple questions and John responded quickly with good info. We enjoyed the kayaks, swimming, cornhole and our usual end of the day fire circle. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect for our use. The common areas, indoor and outdoor, were well set up and the upstairs covered balcony was very nice. The dock and ladder made it easy to swim or kayak. The yard was big enough for games or a quiet read in shade or sun. Not to mention there is a lot to do in the area if you like to be busy. This is the first time we talked about a return visit to a vacation home. I would definitely recommend this property.

Perfect Lakehouse Vacation!

We had an outstanding 2 week stay with our family and friends. The house was very comfortable for all and had all the amenities that you could think of or need. Location was perfect and picturesque! Could not have asked for more. Highly recommended for your stay.

Beautiful view

We had an excellent time staying at this property! John had everything we needed to enjoy our stay! We stayed with my sister's family & each had our own suites. 2 bedrooms with a bathroom upstairs & 2 bedrooms with a bathroom in a separate wing downstairs. It worked great for 2 different families. The views of the lake were gorgeous! Especially from the upstairs bedrooms! The lake level was down a bit, so the water was a bit stinky when the wind was blowing, but other than that, the property was great! There were even lots of local things to do.

Great Lake house!

Beautiful home with everything you need and then some. We loved the several sitting option areas outside and the stand up paddle boards and kayaks!!! We cooked and grilled food and kitchen and grill were great. Highly recommend.

Chautauqua Stay

We stayed for 2 weeks and everything was excellent! The owner, John, the property manager, Warren and the cleaning people led by Ruthie were all outstanding. The location of the home with basically everything you need to run a household was available. Our first week was with family and the second with friends. Our grandsons especially enjoyed the Maui pad! The fire pit, corn hole and kayaks were also used by all of us. The lake is very nice and tranquil and the sunrises were outstanding most days, we had only a couple overcast mornings.

Perfect family vacation!

This property is gorgeous! Pictures so do not it justice! The lake views are incredible, very spacious bedrooms and seating area, well equipped kitchen and plenty of games and things to do! The dock is perfect for swimming, great water depth to dock the boat and John is very responsive! Our four kids had a blast and we enjoyed spending the week with my parents making so many great memories. We’ve stayed in many places on Chautauqua and this is by far the best! Thanks for having us!! Looking forward to next year!

The perfect way to experience Lake Chautauqua

We LOVED this property, so much in fact that on our second day we got online and rented it again for next summer! It’s in the perfect location- close to the Lighthouse and Tops for grocery shopping, a mile or so from the Chautauqua Institution, and a quick drive over to Bemus Point or Midway for some family entertainment. The house is incredibly well stocked, and we were so appreciative of all of the thoughtful items they left for us. The back yard is amazing and we made fires in the fire pit most nights. The private dock is great- we rented a pontoon for the week from the Chautauqua Marina and would highly recommend if you’re looking for a great boat rental location! The house is perfect for a family get away, and has everything you’ll need for the perfect trip to the lake!

Great spot on Chautauqua Lake!

We had a great stay at John's place. The house was clean, the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to make our meals throughout the week, and the location was perfect for us! We will definitely keep this house in mind for future trips to Chautauqua.

Wonderful Lake Vacation

Overall we loved our week and plan to come back next year. All the toys at the house were awesome and we used the aqua lily pad daily. You can’t beat being right on the lake and the view was incredible. We took advantage of renting a boat and using the dock which was very easy and enjoyable. The marina is extremely close. Couple of things to note (these didn’t bother us would be helpful for other renters to know)…The house gets warm, but didn’t bother us since the rooms had AC and we spent 90% of our day outside. We did get occasional ants/bugs as expected at a lake house. Lastly, you’ll need to supply your own firewood and bean bags for cornhole. They did have paper goods/trash bags, salt/pepper, olive oil/spray oil, dish soap/cleaning supplies, bug spray, and games, which was helpful….already looking forward to our trip next year. Hoping to make this an annual vacation.

Great lake house with beautiful views!

The moment you step into the house, the view of the lake is beautiful! There are kayaks, paddle boards, lily pad, corn hole and many games to play. Never a dull moment! We had our grandkids with us, ages 4-11, and they had the best time. The boys said that fishing on the dock was the best EVER! It was relaxing to sit on the deck with multiple sitting areas which were mostly in the shade and watch the kids enjoy the lake. The inside of the house was just as wonderful and I appreciated the paper products and soaps supplied by the owner. The location was very accessible to many attractions which we took advantage of during our stay. The owner John was wonderful to deal with and Shawn the manager was very helpful and friendly. We loved the house and would love to rent it again.
