Quiet, bright, clean, and accessible

This place was perfect for my needs. The sunlight poured in from the skylights above, the place was extremely clean, the neighborhood was quiet, and yet this cozy house was located near every convenience that I needed. I also found Jay, the host, to be very friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable about the area. She was great! I hope to stay here again on my next visit to the area.

Perfect affordable place to stay. The host recommended a deli down the road that had amazing sandwiches in walking distance. They also served amazing breakfast and had great iced coffee.

Good size, responsive host.

The cottage was a great size and had nice amenities. Comfortable beds, soft sheets and towels. Would have been nice to have a larger couch to relax on, not enough room for our 3 guests. No TV in one of the bedrooms. The host was extremely responsive but I would prefer a self check in and out process, it is tough to coordinate key pick up when you have a busy/tight schedule. Great value, I would definitely recommend this spot.

Just what we needed!

The property was clean and just what we needed for the four of us to stay together instead of in two hotel rooms, which would have been prohibitively expensive for the weekend. Parking along side the house is tight, so if you have a large vehicle you'll want to use the free street parking. Lots of places to eat in the area. We drove to the train, parked there, and took the train into the city. Jay was very friendly and even met us in person to help answer some of our questions about getting into the city. The neighborhood was quiet. We knew we would be out and about all weekend and not at the house much, and this was the perfect place for us to rest our heads and get ready for the day. We would definitely stay at Jay's place again.

Overall, good stay

It was a pleasant stay, I wish that there was a better check in process. I would have rather a keyless entry/fob situation instead of having to meet the owner for a physical key, within a time range of 3-8. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable. Overall, though, it was nice.

Worth it! I didn't want a hotel this time and chose a home away from home. Its close to everything, even a mini mart was literally across the street. It was very comfortable. I would definitely stay again.

Lovely cottage stay!

Great place!

The hosts were Wonderful! Not a whole lot to look at outside but inside was perfect! Only suggestion, a coffee pot.... lol. Beds good... little on soft side for me, but reasonable. Very good deal great size, being able to park in driveway PRICELESS!

Nice Getaway

My wife, son and I had a wonderful stay here. The inside was clean and ready when we arrived. The host was very helpful finding great local eateries. She was kind and very amicable. The property provides easy access to NYC and Long Island. Look forward to reserving on our next trip to NY.

Perfect spot

The house was cute and convenient to food. It was nice to have off street parking. Jo was so nice and met us personally to get in home and find everything. And give us food recommendations that were walkable. I would not hesitate to stay again!

Long Island trip

The property was very clean with everything we needed for our stay. Having stayed in many, many VRBO I always appreciated a picture of the outside of the property. The outside could use some TLC but inside was quite nice. I would have loved a small bureau in the back bedroom. Jay was very responsive and allowed us to check in early which was greatly appreciated.we loved the all the coffees and tea. We would stay here again.

It was exactly as shown in the pictures. It was a perfect amount of space for my partner and I to stay a couple days. It was cute and clean as well. Especially enjoyed the natural light from the skylights!

Sweet little house

My husband and I needed a place to stay while visiting family. This place was exactly as described and very convenient for us. The beds were comfortable and the place clean and looked just like the pictures. Communication was perfect. We will stay again if it’s available. Highly recommend!

This was a clean and comfortable alternative to a hotel while working multiple days in the area. It was nice to have a little room to relax that wasn't just a bedroom.
