Beautiful new home on chain of lakes 20 minutes from Pictured Rocks

The Corner Lake Lodge is a beautiful home located on the shore of Corner Lake, one of 5 lakes on or adjacent to the chain of lakes, a short drive to Munising, and Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore.

Our lodge is new construction with no expense spared in all of its modern amenities. There are three bedrooms and two full bathrooms in the lodge. On the main floor is two bedrooms, one featuring a queen size bed, the second has a bunk bed with a queen on the bottom and twin on top. The master suite is located upstairs with a king size bed, a bunk bed that has a full-size futon on the bottom and a twin on top plus an additional twin bed, giving our lodge a 10-person capacity (this includes adults, children, and infants).

One of the many custom features of the lodge is the stone accents throughout that tie together with the massive stone fireplace. The overhead fan in the kitchen, and the exterior walls of the shower are all done in this same stone to give the lodge a castle like feeling inside. Other well thought features include a whiskey barrel table, granite countertops, a large sectional with recliners, washer/dryer and the best view of our beautiful Corner Lake.

Outside the lodge you will find plenty of secluded outdoor entertainment area, furniture, gas and charcoal grill with extra propane provided. Gather around our large lakeside fire pit for evening smore making. Campfires in designated pit area only. Absolutely NO FIREWORKS on property at any time. Also bring your own boat and park it on a 24' dock provided for your convenience.

The chain of lakes is a 477-acre chain that consists of Corner Lake (40 ft deep), Skeels Lake, Deep Lake, and Straights Lake. Also, on the back side of Corner Lake you can access via a very short portage Ostrander Lake and Stella Lake. Four of lakes are connected by channels that you can easily boat or kayak from one lake to the next. Fishing on the chain of lakes is very popular as well. when fishing anglers can expect to catch a variety of fish including Bluegill, Brown Trout, Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike, Rock Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Walleye, and Yellow Perch.

Kayak rentals are available, you must pre-reserve kayaks so the cleaning service can have them unlocked for your stay. The price is $50 per kayak for singles (8 10.4' cockpit style boats available) and 1 tandem kayak at $75 for the duration of your stay. We do have a complimentary canoe, paddle boat and life jackets available for you to use during your stay.

Such a relaxing environment

We rented this same cabin during COVID and loved it so much we had to go back! The lake is so quiet so it is such a relaxing environment. The cabin itself is beautiful and so up to date! Hard not to enjoy yourself while there! Hopefully to be returning next year.

A week of quiet.

We loved the house and property; it was everything we were hoping for and more. Sat around the campfire every night and enjoyed the magnificent stars. Very peaceful. The general store was close which came in handy. Owners were very responsive and helpful with any questions we had. Will hopefully be back.

Great central location to Pictured Rocks

This home was absolutely perfect for our stay. Very beautiful lake with kayaks , paddleboat and a canoe along with a nice firepit. Truly one of the best homes we stayed in. With 6 adults we had plenty of room. Had close access to local areas like Pictured Rock's, many Winery's and state parks. Will definitely stay here again.

Wonferful Vacation

Great vacation rental. Has everything you need. Very clean and accomodating. Family loved it. I would highly recommend this property. It is not a hot fishing location but great for the kids. A great memory for our family.

Beautiful and Relaxing

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Corner Lake Lodge. The house was beautiful and fit our group well. Rented a few of the kayaks and brought some of our own, which were perfect to paddle out to the sand bar so the kids could play. We would love to come back again!

Family vacation 2023

The house is gorgeous and the location is as well. Our adult kids and young grandkids all enjoyed canoeing, paddle boating, kayaking, and paddle boarding on the crystal clear lake. The sandbar was a favorite place to paddle to and hang out. One of the nicest houses we have stayed at.

Great Place In The Woods

Family Christmas in June

We stayed here so we could all be together and enjoy the outdoors vs. staying in rooms at a hotel. The property was very nice, disappointed as we could not use the fire pit or fireplace due to DNR restrictions. I would suggest setting up a payment process for the kayaks so we can use them when needed. I did not pay ahead of time as we were not sure what the weather was going to do and we had plans in Munising. It would be fairly easy to set up an online payment system like you do for your cabin and have a lock box onsite with the key to unlock the kayaks. We would have used them if we could have paid the day we were able to use them. We are paying a lot of money for this property and seems unfair to pay ahead and possibly not be able to use them, and lose that money. Just saying! Thanks:)

Very nice place to stay just like advertised. Close to snowmoble trail. Lots of back country riding also. Word if warning dont follow your truck navigation it wont get u there . Google maps gets u there

Easy access to snowmobile trail

The home is great, cool lighting, excellent TV, comfortable beds. A quick ride down snowy neighborhood road and there is an groomed access trail that connects to Trail 7. On Monday, Wednesday, Friday morning Trail 7 + 413 + 41 all groomed up to Shingleton for breakfast and gas. From there we shot across 8, down 7, 411, and across 2 all groomed. Due to low traffic on southern trails the location is fantastic. Pleasure dealing with owner, all good. Definitely will stay here again!

Snowmobile Trip

Right in the middle of the beautiful Hiawatha forest with plenty of snow and super close to the snowmobile trails which is perfect. Plenty of space in the house and always very clean. Great property to visit!

Surpassed expectations

From the moment we walked through the doors and onto the heated floors, no attention to detail escaped us. Our host left an incredibly generous gift of hot chocolate, coffee, and candy to welcome us to our stay. We were able to check in early, which made grabbing a few groceries before dark so much easier. The cabin had every necessity and then some. Beds were comfortable, and the layout of the cabin provided space for all of our family to spread out. The lake and surrounding area was breathtaking. I cannot recommend a property more, and we've stayed at our fair share. I'm very hopeful we'll be able to return next Thanksgiving. Thank you for making our stay absolutely perfect.
