Waterfront Home With Hot Tub, Private Dock & Pool

Located right off the sound and just a mile from the beach, it’s the best of both worlds. Kayaks, crab traps and a paddle board are included for you to enjoy throughout your canal front vacation. If lounging by the pool is more your style, we’ve got you covered too (pool is open and heated April 17th through October 31st)! Bringing your boat or jet skis? The dock is all yours! New for 2023 - HOT TUB!

Home features smart TVs with cable in each bedroom, highspeed internet, a poolside TV to catch the game, an entertainment sound system throughout the house, big beds for everyone, a fisherman’s watch to enjoy the sunset, and the perfect lawn for cornhole. Towels and linens included!

Fabulous…again

Stayed at this house this past summer and booked for next summer. We decided to do a quick get away with friends and all four of us loved it!! Clean, perfect setting, great host, beautiful pool, great hot tub…wonderful!!

Great Place

Perfect place to relax and hang out with friends. I would highly recommend the property to anyone looking for a relaxing time by the water. House was very comfortable and clean, everything you need is there, just bring your beach towels and food. Super convenient location for shops and restaurants.

Amazing stay

This house is amazing! We went from 50 some degree weather to 80 degree weather in one week and still enjoyed the pool every day. The hot tub was also great. The house had all of the amenities listed and then some. The location was also prime and the host was great as well. An awesome vacation all around.

This place was incredible! Everyone has the best time, and raved about their accomodations! The house with its shady/breezy deck, salt water pool, and gorgeous view of the canal/dock were out favorite part! So nice that it was close to Jockeys Ridge, and we appreciate the cleaning lady telling us about the sound park to take the littles too. Definitely will be returning for future trips!

Great Location!

Property was nice clean and accommodating. The lack of a dining table for the thanksgiving day meal was a bit of an inconvenience. We were lucky that the weather was mild. We were never able to reach the club house folks that could have issued a key for the boat ramp. Left two messages and no return of call. A bit of an inconvenience as the other ramp was towards Manteo.

This house is wonderful and the host is great. We will be back. Only negative is there could be more inside seating for meals. It was super hot when we were there and eating outside was uncomfortable Not enough to take away any stars. It’s a five!!

Amazing OBX VACATION!

The host was responsive and and kind. The property was outstanding and viewed as listed! The sunsets viewed on kayaks and relaxing in the hot tub was a favorite. The overall home and property was welcoming and accommodating. We were blessed.

Beautiful roomy house perfect for family/friends getaway

Came here for a girls weekend and the space could not have been more perfect. Everyone got their own room and the kitchen-living room provided a great space for hanging out. Because of winter and COVID we basically relaxed here our entire stay and did takeout from local restaurants. The property also has a nice basement space where families with kids could use to hang out. Would stay here again!

Had a Blast in Nags Head

Myself and a group of friends came in for a weekend wedding and had an amazing time! The house was fantastic. The woman who was cleaning thought the check in time was 5 instead of 4, so we did end up crashing her expected work hours a bit- but it was no problem at all, and the place was already in great shape!

Beautiful location on the bay

The house is exactly as depicted. Air-conditioning works beautifully. There are kayaks and a paddleboard in the backyard for use on the canal. The pool is wonderful. Kitchen is well stocked. Located a short drive from Jeanette’s Pier as well as close to shopping and restaurants. Interestingly, there is no indoor dining table. There are chairs at the kitchen island as well as an outdoor dining table on the patio. We had an absolutely amazing time. Would highly recommend this location and property!

Well equipped. Lots of outdoor equipment and indoor games. Weather was very cool, windy and rainy, not “beach” weather but we managed to take advantage of any breaks. Enjoyed our stay!

Great house despite the rain!

Storm affected trip with young kids. They loved playing in the downstairs den and fishing off the back yard despite the wind and rain! Great evenings spent in front of the fire watching movies!

Fun at OBX

This home was amazing. There was 8 of us. Having 2 14-year old kids (grand kid and friend), I thought would be a challenge. It was not the case at all. The private dock was a blessing. There was paddle boarding and kayaking. Fishing and crabbing was a great hit too. All these things were provided by the host. The pool and hot tub were perfect for the adults when the beach was not on the agenda for the day. The house is big enough to get away by yourself. Nothing not to like here!!!

Great OBX Experience

The Happy Hicks home provided our family of 6 a perfect and relaxing home away from home while we played in the Outer Banks of NC. Positioned along the canals on the sound side of OBX actually offered more for our family of adventurers to do including kayaking, crabbing, and getting away from the hustle of the beach. Spacious and comfy living quarters with a beautiful deck, relaxing pool, and outdoor entertainment center tucked away in a quiet and safe neighborhood made for a wonderful experience. thanks Happy Hicks!

OBX Paradise

Our first time staying in the OBX and it was magical! The house is exactly as pictured. Everything was simple and easy.....booking, check-in, communication with homeowner. She even offered suggestions on things to do. I highly recommend this little piece of paradise!! It’s worth the drive just to see the sunsets from the porch. My family already wants to go back! 5 out of 5!!!!

Peaceful week

This is a beautiful, well-maintained cottage. The location is quiet and convenient. The pool was nice and overlooks a canal. The cottage includes kayaks and a paddle board for riding through the canals. All of the beds were comfortable. This cottage is the perfect place for.family vacation with bedrooms on various floors so everyone can stay together but still feel they have their own space. There is also a small dock with a boat lift.
