Newer 3br/3ba private farmhouse located on our 80-acre family horse farm. Our two-story home features an open floor plan, gas fireplace, vaulted ceilings, generously sized bedrooms, three full baths, master jacuzzi, loft with extra seating and an extra twin bed, and outdoor deck overlooking Bluff Mtn and the horses peacefully grazing. 240 Dish Network tv channels. 20 minutes from Sevierville, Knoxville, Townsend. Out of the hustle bustle yet close enough to experience the city, the mountains or the attractions!

ENJOYABLE

It was a way from the hustle and bustles of the city. Yet close enough for our famliy to have Fun. I enjoyed the 6am cup of coffee and fresh cool Air in the morning, and in the Evenings I would just set and do nothing but watch the Horse's and enjoy the soundless Mountain. Me and my husband a d grandson enjoyed the walk down the driveway to see more Animals,small creek hust quite time of the country. He is 12 and enjoyed the wild blackberries...

Relaxing with a beautiful view.

My family of five along with my parents stayed here. We absolutely loved it! The view was amazing and the home was decorated so adorable (the chicken coop ❤️). It was a great place to sit and relax after driving 13 hours or going into town. The home was quite easy to find and the path leading up to the house wasn't bad. Heather was so sweet and quick to respond to any questions we had through the whole process of renting and staying in the homd. She was also very helpful with a couple needs/requests we ended up having. My youngest two loved playing in the creek and seeing the horses, goats, and pig. We would definitely stay again. On a side note. What people need to remembered as stated in many of the reviews and the description is this IS a country home. Therefore if you can't handle what may or maynot come with country living, is for you to decide.

Beautiful, peaceful property

Highly recommend this vacation getaway. There isn’t anything negative to say. The property owners even call to see if you need anything. The kitchen is fabulous too. We had family members over and it was the perfect gathering. The inviting porch overlooks beautiful scenery. The perfect place. Would definitely like to return!

Awesome!

Absolutely beautiful place! You’ll never get tired of the scenery. The house was decorated so cute. Everything you’ll need is a couple miles down the road and then you get to return to the peaceful, quiet farm. Heather was very considerate and reachable. I would definitely stay again.

Christmas in the Smokies

We loved our stay on this peaceful farm! Having the horses right outside our window was just perfect! The space was great for our grown children and their families. And the homeowner was great to work with! We will certainly be coming back to stay again!

Amazing home away.

My family and I had an amazing time at this house. The views were amazing. The house was a little out of the way but very worth it. Absolutely beautiful home with all the perks you could ask for. Will definitely rent again and highly recommend.

Just as described.

Overall stay was fantastic. It's farm property so if you have never been on a farm or like that type of lifestyle don't rent it. I showered in the well water and I'm fine. Bring bottled water if you don't like the taste if you're not used to it. I walked around the area, drove around the area. There's not a lot to complain about. Can it use some updating? Meh, I guess it could use some paint here or there but it wasn't like it was dirty everywhere. Do you see cobwebs? Yes, way up top. They are not bothering anyone. It's on a well, so of course you're going to get some yellow water here and there, once again that's not a big deal. Enjoy the beautiful views of the stars, the mountain areas, The horses, goats, pigs, chickens, roosters, and everything else that goes with a farm rental. So suck it up buttercups or get a hotel so you can feel pampered. We are fairly close to Gatlinburg, Dollywood, valley forge, 30 minutes from Knoxville. Enjoy.

Smokey Mountain Bike Week

This was a great little farm house. The owner was very accommodating and let us use the garage to store our bikes. The water water was a little wonky, but they did everything they could to make it better, it’s well water so there’s not much that can be done. All in all it was a great place to stay. We would definitely go back.

Great House

We chose this house for the recliners and proximity to downtown for surgery recovery. The house is secluded and serene with easy access to town. Heather was very responsive to any messages and met us at the door to show us around at check-in. Like others have mentioned, the water does smell like sulfur, but is clean. We prepared with bottled water so it was a non-issue.

Horse Heaven!

We had a dream experience at this property and loved every second of our stay. The house was gorgeous, the outdoor space was large, well maintained, and juat beautiful. The owners went ABOVE AND BEYOND to accommodate our family, make us feel welcome, and ensure we had a wonderful stay. I could not be more greatful for the time spent with family in this perfect location...DO NOT DELAY...book this home!

Perfect Week

The property was perfectly laid out for our family. My husband and I took my paralyzed son and his son as well as my 86 year-old father-in-law. We enjoyed the porch so much! My FIL spent hours watching wildlife and reading. My youngest son and his two children joined us for a few nights as well. Loved the country setting, but thankful that stores were conveniently located. Will definitely plan to return.

Needs some attention

Yard and surrounding property was beautiful. The house itself needs some attention. White dog hair in living area. The silverware was dirty with food and thrown in the drawer. Pots and pans were dirty and very used. Too many personal items left in house. We felt like someone had gone for the weekend and we were staying in their house. They were correct about the water issues however it smelt so bad it almost made you sick. We used bottle water for everything. We felt uneasy the whole time in the house and left a night early to come home. It could be nice with some improvements.

Beautiful Place

The Farmhouse was beautiful and beautifully decorated on the inside. It has a homey feeling and the home is big enough with a lot of room for my family and still room left over. The home is decorated with love. I absolutely fell in love with the windows in the livingroom. Everything is there for you and your family to have a wonderful time. Heather was exceptional in responding back to any problems and gives you excellent places to eat. The Farmhouse is about 25 minutes from The Island in Pigeon Forge. There is a lot of back roads and it keeps you out of the scenic route which is quicker back to the Farmhouse. We loved it! ❤❤

Beautiful views

If you want to wake up every morning to one of the most serene and beautiful views, then this is the home for you. So quiet from the hustle and bustle from Pigeon Forge, but a 30 minute car ride and you are right on the parkway. The directions were really easy to follow and the house was perfect. We were able to fit our family comfortably. We would not have had a good vacation without this place. Nothing but good things to say about this property

Not a home away from home.

The property was almost 50 minutes away with traffic from Gatlinburg so that made it inconvenient.Our dog got into a fire ant nest next to the sidewalk. There were spiders in 2 of the bathrooms. The water smelled like rotten eggs and made you feel sticky and slimey while showering. We had to buy bottled water to drink and brush teeth. The house was not routinely cleaned because they had cobb webs above refrigerator and the walls in bathroom beside toilets were flithy. You would think for 100 dollar cleaning fee they charge for the stay it would be alot cleaner.

Perfect for our large family with large dogs! Close to Dollywood area!

Our extended family of 7 with age range of 8 to 60 stayed along with our 130lb and 165lb bloodhounds. The house was the perfect size for all of us (there is a twin size bed in the upstairs game room) and had all the amenities we needed! The fenced in yard was the primary reason we rented the property as our two dogs are crated while inside and have to be on a leash if outside an enclosed area. It was a very large fenced in area with a tall enough fence to keep them safely enclosed to have a good sized area to run around freely in. A pleasant surprise was that there weren’t piles of poo left by previous dogs as there usually are. That was very nice and we made sure to return the favor! The water that is mentioned on several reviews…we come from rural west Tennessee where “hard” water from a ground well is very common. Much of the water in our area has iron and sulphur and while very safe to drink, it does have a characteristic odor and occasional color and the water at this rental was better than where we live so it wasn’t an issue. However, if that is something someone is not used to then I recommend to bring a few bottles or gallons (depending on length of stay) for drinking. It also will MOT stain your clothes or leave a smell on your laundry. Long story short, if that is your only concern…don’t let it be. The proximity is great to the Pigeon Forge area (about 30 minutes). Gatlinburg and the park ranged from 45 minutes to an hour. Fantastic rental!!

We loved the quiet & private Farmhouse

I am so glad to have found this house in Seymour to stay in while our family visited Tennessee. It was not the typical vacation; we were there for my mom’s celebration of life and her memorial service at Stock Creek Baptist Church. The host was awesome, making sure we had what we needed and were in safely, and comfortable with the house. In fact, we liked it so much we extended our stay one extra day to be able to unwind and enjoy the expanse of nature. Our grandkids loved watching the horses and little piggy out the window, and it was perfect for our two dogs who also came with us. I was getting a strong 5G signal on my mobile device, even though there is no Internet in the house you won't be cut off. Definitely bring water as mentioned, it's fine to wash in but not so great to drink. Overall we absolutely enjoyed our stay in this farmhouse and it helped us all feel better about why we were there.

We had a great stay. It met most of our needs. Had we read the website more carefully we would have seen it really only sleeps 7 and there were 8 of us. Fortunately, we had a blow up mattress. There's a king, a queen and three singles. Thank you for allowing us to stay.

Refreshing and peaceful!

Thankfully, this property is not right in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the strip, yet it is just a quick, easy ride away. You get the best of both worlds! The scenery was gorgeous, the property manager was attentive, and the place was roomy and thoroughly enjoyable. There were little touches everywhere- plenty of seating, spaced out furniture that helped with maneuverability, and a homey feel. The well water was a non-issue, as we came prepared. Also, we completely understand that it is a nuance of country living. Waking up to the backdrop of snow/ice covered mountain tops was a highlight. The horses grazing were relaxing. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to go back! Thank you for hosting us and helping our vacation be a success!
