We really enjoyed this vacation rental both for its' location and its' comfort. The views and the grounds were spectacular to see from the house and also to walk around. The house has many amenities and cheerful decor. We would definitely go back.
Very nice and comfortable home in a great location at Rams Hill: Views of mountains and large pond. Terrific spot to enjoy the sunrise and sunset. Check-in/check-out process easy. Great communication with host. Looking forward to our next stay. Thank you.
Came out to Borrego Springs for a family gathering and preferred to stay in the Rams Hill area because my brother lives there. This eclectic two bedroom property was just what we needed for the three of us who stayed there. (It will sleep 6.) There are two lovely patios. One is tucked in a cozy space in the front of the house. The main patio, though, is out back where you'll find comfortable furniture and beautiful, expansive views of the golf course, lake and surrounding mountains. Gorgeous. There is also a community gathering area nearby with a bbq, tables, lounge chairs, two well maintained community pools and a jucuzzi. We had the area to ourselves most of the time. In summary, we had a great stay. This will be the first place we look to reserve anytime we go back to Borrego Springs.
The host really thought about what guests might use like a yoga mat, good water and nice plates. The bed was a little too soft for us and we didn’t feel safe lifting a 40# water jug. We used our own pitcher. When the power was turned off because of solarthe frig, micro and electric tea pot still worked. Yes I we would stay again. the frig and electric tea pot sta
We ate breakfast at the small patio table, and dinner over looking the golf course pond. The starry night was beautiful and bull frogs serenaded us
Some of the house, though retro and cool are aging. There were only 2 water glasses, and 3 small yogurt size bowls. I highly recommend more glasses, silver ware and small bowls, plus replace the cooking utensils with a slightly better quality. The king sheet was also torn.
All said and done, it is worth the stay.
Enjoy this well done nostalgic stay!
The back patio is the place to be! It's so serene during the day and at night. The kids loved hanging out by the lake, skipping rocks and looking for frogs. The place is very clean, the kitchen has everything you need to make meals and I loved all the artistic touches. The bed is a bit creaky but you get used to it.
We really enjoyed our stay at Casa de Vistas. The view of the pond, sandy desert landscape, mountains and green golf course is amazing. It changes with the clouds, sunrise (pinkish mountains) and sunsets. We loved watching the birds, including verdin, hooded oriole, common yellow throat warbler, costa’s hummingbird, redwing black birds and American widgeons. We also saw rabbits and a few morning sightings of a coyote. The house is well equip, and we enjoyed the colorful decor. We hope to return again soon.
This spot had a nice view of the golf course from the patio. It was a windy area. We found it very clean and well equipped. The furniture wasn’t too comfortable though as it was so low and difficult to get out of for older people. The host was very welcoming and responsive to any questions.
This is a comfy, cozy, casual desert vibe home in a safe and surreally quiet neighborhood. The back patio has a beautiful golf course view and early birds can watch the sunrise from the kitchen window. There are lots of inviting outdoor spaces and plenty of privacy in the 2 bedroom areas. There are many whimsical southwest and south of the border touches throughout the house. The on-site pool area is large and beautiful with a pool, lap pool, jacuzzi and bbq area.
I have stayed in many vacation rentals over the years. This property is one of my favorites.
We have not rented a VRBO before and weren't sure what to expect. Most important the place was very clean. The location perfect and convenient. However, the bed, on a wooden frame made a lot of creaking noise. We did buy toilet paper, as what was provided was very thin and we bought soap. We also bought a couple of small glasses as the selection could have been better. But, all in all the place was comfortable and we would stay there again.
