Purchased in April 2021 to complement our winter vacation home, Nauti Lodge (#31851875), NAUTI HIDEAWAY is a 925 sq ft. 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom condo located on the 2nd level of the Coco Plum Terraces community. Both permanent and vacation rental units make up this quiet and relaxing area of Coco Plum. In the past, we had to deal with loud guests with rowdy kids that disrupted other unit guests and residents. So, if you are looking to throw a party or have a large gathering, this location is not for you.
Centrally located at mile marker 54.5, this relaxing water front community is well protected in a deep canal on the Atlantic Ocean side of Marathon.
The condo has a deep depth boat slip, 10’ 6” wide, accommodating boats up to 40 ft in length. Guide ropes are connected to pilings to assist in docking. If your boat is wider than 10’6”, we maybe able to accommodate that by securing a larger slip with advance notice. The location allows quick access to the Atlantic Ocean and is also just minutes from the Florida Bay (Gulf of Mexico). Closest access to the bay is via Vaca Cut which has a vertical clearance of 15 feet. You can also access by using Channel 5 bridge or Seven Mile Bridge. The property boasts a private boat ramp 11’ 4” wide (side to side) in the parking lot just steps from your condo. If this will not work for your trailer, there are multiple public boat ramps in the area. The boat slip and on-site trailer parking (36 ft. Max) is also steps away from your condo. Per complex rules, only 2 VEHICLES (NO RV's) and 1 BOAT/TRAILER are allowed per reservation and only 1 boat is allowed in the slip. The complex also has a heated pool during winter (85 F) and a chilled pool during the summer. Pool hours are dawn to dusk. A fish cleaning station is available for your fresh catch, water hook ups to clean your boat and shore power to keep her batteries all charged up.
Nauti Hideaway has central A/C (2.5 ton) and heat throughout. 400 mbps of internet (wifi) – Ethernet cord is available. The kitchen is fully stocked and has everything you need to cook for a family of 4. Stove/oven, over the range microwave, conventional-sized refrigerator/freezer, convection oven, dish washer, full size blender, Mr. Coffee makers (small and large), Kurig, toaster, Air Fryer, Crock Pot, blender for drinks, Mr. BBQ caddy with grilling utensils, oversized fish cutting board, and a fully stocked kitchen with all the basics (i.e Tupperware, plastic kid friendly dinnerware, Yeti style low ball and tumbler cups, lots of utensils/knives, spices, etc). Appliances are stainless steel. Enjoy the convenience of throwing your fresh catch right on our Weber grill steps away from your boat and the pool.
The dining room has a high-top table that seats 6 very comfortably and a dining room ceiling light. The living room has a leather sofa and love seat recliners for after a day of boating– everyone gets a recliner to relax! A 55-inch Samsung Smart TV is mounted to the wall with a swivel bracket. Since mostly everyone has their own streaming platforms, we decided to cut cable and this helps us keep rental prices lower. The balcony is off the living room through glass sliders (tinted). High top bar table that sits 4. It overlooks the courtyard and has a view of some of the slips. Remote controlled ceiling fan/lights have been installed in both bedrooms and living room. The balcony has a deep freezer to store your bait, fresh catch, and ice.
The primary bedroom has a King platform bed/mattress and 40-inch Samsung Smart TV. There are 2 bedside tables with drawers and touch activated lamps complete with USB ports for charging. It has a private bathroom with a 24-inch vanity/sink, faucets and a spacious walk-in shower. There is a large walk-in closet with 2 levels of hanging and shelf space – incredible amount of storage. 2-inch Faux wood cordless blinds cover both tinted windows and black out curtains will keep the room dark when desired.
The second bedroom is set up with 1 queen platform bed/mattress and 1 twin platform bed/mattress (both beds have plenty of underneath storage). It also has a 40-inch Samsung Smart TV mounted to the wall on a swivel bracket. The queen bed has 2 bedside tables with drawers and touch activated lamps complete with USB ports for charging. 2-inch Faux wood cordless blinds cover the tinted window and black out curtains will keep the room dark when desired. The second bathroom is located off the hallway. It has a 36-inch vanity/sink, faucets and tub/shower combo.
We always try to provide Suave body wash and shampoo & conditioner in 1. There is a Revlon - 2 speed, cool shot Hair Blow Dryer, CHI Hair Straightener, iron and ironing board are available. We keep a tool box with misc. tools, a closet full of cleaning products and even a rechargeable Ryobi battery operated Hand Vac and Air blower with battery and charger. Also have a plug-in shop vac.
When the condo is booked, I will send you the “Welcome” info with important info (Printable Parking Pass, trailer parking diagram, maps, pictures of the slips guides that we use when we are there, restaurant info and more. About a week prior to your arrival, I will send you your unique condo door code. No keys, so no need to carry around or worry about losing.
Coco Plum Terrace is made up of 3 buildings. There is a washer/dryer for clothing at the end of each building on the 1st level water side. It charges by the load & takes quarters only (no change machine on site). Parking for guests is the large parking lot, which is where the private boat ramp is located. The large parking lot is utilized for both vehicle and trailer parking.
Nauti Hideaway is a short 0.8 mile walk to Coco Plum Beach and turtle nesting areas. Though it is public, Coco Plum beach seems like a private beach as it is pretty secluded. Sombrero Beach is also public and is approx. 13 minutes away via car. Sombrero Beach has ample parking, a playground and a large beach area great for snorkeling or sunbathing. And lastly, the condo is about an hour drive to Key West, for a very easy day trip!

- No Smoking/Vaping to include Balcony
- No Pets
- No Parties
- 4 Person Max - This includes infants/children of any age
On rare occasion, an exception is made for additional fee of
$50 a night for the 5th person.
- For bookings over 1-week, extra cleaning(s) will NEED to be completed. Guest can choose a $100 cleaning to change out bed linens and towels OR a full cleaning for $225, which is the same cleaning completed after every guest departs. This ensures the condo stays in good shape. This charge will be added after the booking when the host speaks with guest.
