Perfect family getaway

Beautiful location, wonderful, clean house with great appliances and amenities. We were able to fish right off the dock and the lake view is amazing! We're hoping to make this an annual stay.

Great Area

Spent one day in the Shawano Lake town area, an awesome Christmas store. Three Brothers and Primal Eats had great food. The Casino was nice and clean and paid well.

Shawano Lake Gem

We stayed here with my in-laws and had a great time! The location is wonderful and the sunrise view can’t be beat! The hosts were very accommodating and communication with them was great. The house had all the amenities and more! The layout was also great for two families with the upstairs and downstairs both having bedroom(s) and a bathroom. We hope to go back again next year.

Couples get away

The property was exactly as listed except it is a 1 bath property & not a 1 1/2 bath. But for my husband & I it was perfect. The view & access to the lake was awesome. The house had everything we needed & the restaurants close by were great!

August 2022 Trip

Our family had great time staying at house. House is well kept with plenty of space for our family of 5. It is close to restaurant/bar and small market while still close to town for larger items that family needed. Would definitely stay again.

Great stay 2nd time

It was our second time staying here. It's a fun location right on the lake and close to restaurants. It's easy and affordable to rent a boat from the parks as well. The home is clean and comfortable.

Cute Cottage

Place was nicely updated. Owners thought of everything from supplying towels to games and fishing items. Deck was fantastic. Wonderful view. Only draw back is busy road so noisy.

Amazing Getaway

This property was everything a girl could ask for. It was clean, very true to the photographs, had a well stocked kitchen, plentiful towels, shampoo, etc. You could tell the owners had thought of every detail. It has amazing lake views. I can't recommend this property enough!

Beautiful View!

Very modern and clean! Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. Very comfortable and really appreciated all of the upgraded amenities with smart technology in each room. The view was beautiful! It was really relaxing to watch the ice fisherman out on the lake. The patio furniture is also extremely comfortable and relaxing. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay: large TV’s, everything you need to cook meals in the kitchen and comfortable beds and pillows. Great proximity to downtown (we really enjoyed the brewery in the old Theatre called Stubborn Brothers). There was construction going on 2 houses over so that was a little inconvenient with the noise both inside and outside of the house for half of our stay but it’s nothing anyone could control (however the workers using the restroom outside got to be a little annoying over time). Our only complaints would be that we were really looking to enjoy more time outside around a fire. The fire pit in the yard was too muddy to use which was understandable for it being Spring time. We were looking forward to using the gas fire pit on the patio but unfortunately it was stored in the garage with an empty propane tank. The shower is also a little awkward. It’s a small corner shower lined with a plastic shower curtain so you have to kind of peal back the shower liner to get inside which wasn’t the most comfortable. Based on the description, we were also expecting a half bath in addition to the full bath but the house only has one bathroom. This worked fine for just the two if us but might be a little more inconvenient for a larger group. Having said that, I would highly recommend this property.

October Fall Getaway

Except for some access code communication snafus, this property is lovely. The owner was quite apologetic for the access issue. Once that was worked out, the lake house was perfect for just the two of us. Downstairs we just used to store our bicycles and shoes and upstairs was the main living space (although there is another entertainment room on the first floor). Super clean, decor was nicely done and the view of Shawano Lake is 10/10…at least when it’s not foggy. Used the grill every night and certainly enjoyed the gas fireplace on the porch (and hooray for full tanks of gas!) Close enough to town and we could actually ride our bikes directly to the Mountain Bay trail. Definitely recommend this property and hope to rent again in the future.

What a great property on Shawano lake

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at this house. The inside has been newly renovated and was very comfortable and inviting. All the appliances are new and the decorating is very well done. We LOVED the resin rocking chairs and gas fireplace on the deck with an awesome view of the lake. The Amazon echos made playing music and controlling the house very easy. The check in and checkout process was super easy and Eli was super fast and easy to communicate with. The house is located on the west side of the lake with a public launch close by as well as the best sandbar for anchoring and swimming (head south towards the river). We ate out several times at Brother’s pub and enjoyed the ability to walk their and enjoy the outside seating. Definitely going to book again.
