Down the hall, the third bedroom features a wide ocean view and a spacious layout. The fourth bedroom (furthest down the hall and up one step) is the home's second main bedroom, featuring an ocean view an an en suite bathroom. Head down the stairs to the lower floor and you'll find the fifth bedroom at the end of the hallway of gorgeous ocean view windows. This room features two windows with a driveway views, two windows with an internal view of the lower living room, and dividing drapes that separate it from the rest of the space. The sixth and final bedroom is just off the Ping-Pong table's alcove - two hallway bathrooms (one half bathroom and one with a standalone shower) will ensure that there's no line in the morning.

Great place to enjoy the Oregon Coast!

Had the opportunity to meet with friends for an annual crabbing trip in Waldport. The home although unique has an amazing set-up for groups. Plenty of sleeping space and gathering room. We enjoyed the quick access to the beach, the pool table, and the magnificent views! Would definitely go back and enjoy this home again. Thank you.

Great view, house could use some work

The view out of all of the beach facing windows is amazing . The pool table and ping pong table were great for the kids, and having so many different bed options was great. The house itself was ok…the gas fireplace we couldn’t get it to work, there’s an abundance of remotes for TVs and we couldn’t figure out what most of them went to, we couldn’t get the tv downstairs to work. The deckboards are extremely uneven, lots of uneven floorboards in the house. One of the bed frames was broken so the bed was sloped toward the window and bowed in the middle. We spent most of the time on the phone with guest services trying to get a resolution to the issues and were unsuccessful in doing so.

Family spring break

It was a great place for our family to gather and enjoy each other. The kids had so much fun on the beach despite our Oregon Spring! The house had room for us all to spread out! Thank you!

Great for large group

This location was wonderful for kids to play on the beach… we could see them from the windows and deck. There were so many rooms and bathrooms so people could spread out. The pool table and ping pong were also a hit. It is close to 101, so the car noise in some of the bedrooms was bothersome during sleeping.

Good, but could have been better

Vacasa did a good job keeping us informed on our rental access and checkout process before and during our stay. The text updates were nice. The house worked well for being big enough for the 9 of us to have our own space. It was decently clean and plenty of towels in the bathrooms. The kids enjoyed the game room. But we found the quality of some amenities quite lacking for the price. I would also warn that the beach access is not for anyone who is even a little unsteady on their feet. There is no stair case, but a man-made pathway down with wood stumps at the bottom to step and balance on with nothing to hold on to. An older family member ended up falling and hitting her head.

Large dated house

This house is large a good for a big group. The downstairs is pretty rough around the edges, in particular the central shower room smells horrible, not sure if it is mold or just musty coast smell. We had someone sleeping in each bed so the person in the room next to that wasn't too stoked. Various things are pretty dated but otherwise its a nice place. The upstairs seems more recently updated and is where we spent most of the time. Amazing location, though if you sleep in the rooms on the highway side the cars/trucks are pretty loud all night.

Great Oceanfront Spot

Super for large groups, lots of space, plenty of bathrooms, and lots of extra bedding for kids wanting to sleep on futons etc. Older beds and bedding but it was all clean and we slept well. Amazing views and access to the ocean and we even got great weather in November! A few things the owners should know: the outside light wasn’t working so unloading (in the dark) was sketchy, and the door code vacasa sent was wrong. But otherwise, it was a great affordable option for a truly beachfront house! Thank you!

5 stars for the beach

The beach gets 5 stars always, right? Homes don't always rate so highly and unfortunately this house was a least favorite for several reasons. I think renters should know that there are a lot of little ledges/steps that led from one room into another. You need to be mindful and take care while walking around even though most are marked with signs. It's more of an issue with kids running around. Everything is very dated and run down. We barely used the first floor at all. The dishwasher upstairs doesn't work properly. Regardless of what setting is used, the dishes will need some additional cleaning. A deep clean and maintenance check of the property is deeply needed. There are uneven boards on the front deck that need to be secured down to prevent tripping hazards. The stairs also need a runner to prevent slippage. The carpet on them is worn down and slick. Short put..the house is begging for love. However, the beach gives you everything it has! Beautiful agates and beach treasures. Spend the day in its glory and enjoy life. Access is not private though, so keep that in mind if kids want to run back and forth from the house. They may encounter foot traffic on the path. I thought it was private which makes a big difference to us.

Lots of issues and no help from vacasa

We had issues with all of the TVs. We were only able to get main tv upstairs or downstairs to work. Not both at the same time. One of TVs in the bedroom was missing a remote and the other had issues with no volume and disconnecting from the internet. There was also a very loud alarm going off outside. I tried calling the number listed in the house, emailing the local email address, emailing Vacasa, and calling vacasa however I didn’t receive a response until the next day and it just said, sorry I can’t help you with the TVs. I never heard anything about the alarm. The first morning of our stay, we woke up and noticed that the deadbolt wasn’t actually locking the door. We could lock it from the inside and someone was still able to unlock it from the outside. We assumed the batteries were dead, I tried calling, the local numbers, emailing, and emailing and calling vacasa. I was told the same info about trouble shooting over and over, all day long. I kept insisting that we had tried everything that had been mentioned and was still told to trouble shoot the exact same way. It wasn’t until around 8pm, after I demanded that someone come out and look at it because we didn’t feel safe, that I finally received an email and a phone callfrom someone local. She was the first person that actually listened to what I was saying. She apologized and drove all the way from Newport at 9:00pm to fix the

Prime location & views, poorly managed

This location has the best views & beach access for a blended family vacation. The upstairs is not handicap accessible, unfortunately our seniors could only stay in the lower level of the house. The bathrooms in the lower level are a mixture of updated & outdated fixtures. Toilets have a great powerful flush, but the toiletries are skimpy on what was provided for an entire weeks worth (soap, shampoo & conditioner). There is only one TV down stairs that has a DVD player only, no cable, no wifi, no streaming. The wifi signal downstairs is absolute junk and you’ll never be able to have cell service (Verizon & T-Mobile). There are two washers & two dryers, based on the previous reviews, one set of each is always broken, which we experienced ourselves. This house has extra towels, pillows, and blankets, thankfully. Downstairs only has two windows that open, the rest are picture windows, which can be very hot between 1-6p. Upstairs is mostly updated beside the bathrooms. The beds are nicer & newer, with one room that has a box spring. The kitchen has tons of pots, pans, plates, cups, and silverware. There are ALOT of signage through out the house on all the rules that they want followed. Customer service doesn’t follow through on any issues that were brought to their attention. So I followed up with an email on all the broken items that were there when we arrived. Great location, great views, could use some work on diligence with up keep.

We stayed for three days during some bizarre winter weather, where it was even snowing at the beach. Every heat source was turned off when we arrived and hadn’t been on for days. After trying for a couple hours to figure out how to work the gas fireplace downstairs, it was discovered (once we were able to get ahold of someone — nearly impossible) that the propane tank outside was empty. Why wouldn’t this be something that was already checked in the winter?? No one ever came back, it never got filled, and the downstairs (which was the sleeping area for SIX PEOPLE) was a frozen tundra. There was baseboard heating along a long line of frozen windows, which did absolutely nothing. Two space heaters did a good job of warming about 4 square feet which is not helpful when the downstairs is the main hangout area and the only comfortable furniture in the house. The upstairs took an entire day to warm up. The upstairs main couch had a broken leg so we couldn’t use it at all, thus, there was nowhere for our large party to hangout. One of the kitchen tables has been boarded all together in what I assume is an attempt to make it sturdier, but what it also is, is impossible to sit at. Not even the smallest child could fit his legs under the table to eat. The main bathroom upstairs had such a backed up drain, you were standing in water to your ankles at the end of your shower. Extra linens for futons were dirty and smelly. This house has potential but is in need of so much updating. Our stay was uncomfortable and disappointing and such a waste of our money.

Crafty Ladies Getaway

This house was perfect for a bunch of us friends (who haven't seen each other in a while) to get together with our daughters and do crafts. There were plenty of beds and bathrooms for all us ladies! Having 2 kitchens was an added bonus and there was plenty of table space for all our activities. The house is so roomy that even with 9 of us we didn't feel crowded at all.
