Beautiful Valdez Getaway

Amazing views and comfy housing

This property has a truly beautiful view out 3 large windows. It is peaceful, exciting to see many eagles , tidal changes make you feel part of the landscape. Hosts were warm and friendly. House was beautifully done. Best view of Alaska in our 2 weeks of travel. Appreciated the care given to the unti, clean and comfy.

Amazing views of the bay and mountains!!

Breathtaking views from all rooms! Property was very clean with all the essentials. Private location on the edge of town. Host was very helpful with excellent communication. Would definitely stay here again. excellent communication.

Views not have been more beautiful.

This property looks out over a gorgeous estuary. We got to watch American Eagles hunt and fishing boats come and go. The beds were very comfortable and everything was very high quality. Jason was very kind and responsive. I recommend this highly for anyone who visits Valdez.

A great stay

It was so nice to stay in this 2 bedroom space on our trip. We had been staying in hotel rooms but it was nice to spread out. We have 2 kids, there were blocks and games for them to play with. The space was clean and had amazing views!! Check in was really easy and it was an easy drive to get into town.

Great View

This vacation stay was comfortable, clean and had a beautiful view. Besides the view there was a sauna. This would be a good choice for anyone staying in Valdez.

What a view!

What a view to wake up to! We couldn’t have found a better view during our time in Valdez. It’s everything pictured and then some. Beds are comfy and it’s nice to have two bathrooms. Thank you for your hospitality!

Great view

We really enjoyed or stay. The view from the unit is incredible. I had great communication with the owner on the booking and use of washing machine. We made breakfast in the unit and had all the things we needed. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was well stocked with all we needed. Location was minutes from downtown. Great place to stay in Valdez!

Location Location Location

What an amazing view - from every window! This place was just a couple minute drive from the center of Valdez but it felt like you were out in the wilds of Alaska. Both of the bedrooms were comfortable with plenty of room. They were also far enough away from each other that we felt like we had our own hotel room instead being right on top of each other. The central living area is not large but worked well for visiting.

Great view, great bed, great place

This property is exactly as advertised. The view is spectacular (even during cloudy, rainy weather). The owners have raised the bed in the master bedroom to provide a perfect view thru the large window. As their description indicates, their is no big living or dining room, but the space is great for 2-4 people. Meticulously clean. And again, that view.

OMG the View 😱

I wish VRBO would allow you to attach pictures because good lord this was the best view in the city. It was overlooking Prince William Sound and a Bald Eagles nest was near by so we'd see her coming and going all day long 🦅 there was a bear further down that would come out at dusk to feed while the tide was low. The sana was fun and a great way to warm up after spending a chilly time outside watching the wildlife. Jason was very helpful with guiding us to Glacier Lake to see chunks of glacier and the Hatchery to see Sealions, tons of salmon and otters. The property has a very small kitchenette with a hot plate but it worked for what we needed. You won't regret booking this beautiful space.

Amazing View

The views from this property alone make it the perfect stay. However, it is also located in a nice quiet area on the edge of town, is very clean and well maintained, and the hosts were responsive and kind. I only wish we would have stayed longer.

AMAZING find!

We had a fantastic stay at Jason's property! My husband and and I decided to take a weekend vacation to Valdez from Anchorage. We have two children (ages 2.5 and 7 months). . This property has the BEST layout for families with little kids that need their own space to sleep so that they don't wake the other ones up. Extra space to fit both a pack n play and an inflatable toddler bed. However, the beds themselves are fairly tall, so not the best if you have a small child that may roll off the bed at night. The master bedroom had loads of space for all our suitcases with plenty of extra room to walk so that we weren't tripping all over our luggage. The master bath was very clean. We used the sauna at night after the kids were asleep and it was so relaxing. A great way to end a day exploring Valdez! The kitchen is more like a kitchenette than a full kitchen. It has a sink, microwave, toaster, small refrigerator, cups/plates, and utensils. No large appliances. At first we were a little nervous about this since we had planned on cooking at home most nights. But we asked Jason if we could use his grill and he had it waiting for us upon arrival. Jason was also kind enough to allow our friends (2 adults, 1 toddler) who were staying at an RV park to join us for dinner. We grilled dinner and had a fantastic time. The backyard is a great spot for kids to run around if you cook dinners at home like we did. One side of the yard is completely lined with raspberry bushes, which served as entertainment for both kids and adults. There is also a short ATV trail not far from the property that goes right to the beach. The kids loved throwing rocks in the water. The backyard also has an AMAZING view of the mountains and bay. The sunset behind the mountains made the sky light up with pastel colors. The living room and master bedroom have windows facing the bay, so you can watch the sun go down from either inside or outside. My husband and I agreed that this property was one of the best rentals we've ever had (if you're fine with using only a grill for cooking). 10/10 would recommend. Thanks Jason for the great stay! We will definitely rent this property the next time we visit Valdez.

Amazing

We loved our stay. The view of the bay was awesome. Our hosts created a welcoming and so comfortable place to stay. And even showed us where we could take a short drive to see sea lions and bears catching salmon. And drive up to a glacier. And pick blueberries and salmon berries. Wonderful.

Best view in Valdez

The property is located in a quiet subdivision overlooking Prince William Sound. The view is phenomenal. The unit is small but very clean and comfortable. Be aware that it does not have a complete kitchen and could do with one more chair. The beds are terrific and we enjoyed having two bathrooms. We will rent this place again!
