We had a fantastic stay. The home was just as described and shown in the photos. We had 4 adults and 3 children and had more than enough space. We enjoyed the hot tub every evening and enjoyed playing pool. Great location with short driving distance to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Can even get food delivery. Definitely recommend!
Our family really enjoyed staying here. Everything was very nice. With 4 beds and 3 full bathrooms, it’s plenty of space for everyone. The full size washer and dryer are nice as well! Peaceful area and porches are great. Community pool just a short walk down. Just be sure to look out for bears. Seeing a bear was a definite highlight!!
Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg short drives away and we had a blast and really enjoyed our stay here. The owner is very responsive and communicates well.
Quiet neighborhood and convenient location for our spring family trip to Dollywood. We had everything we needed, the cabin was clean, and the host was quick to respond to messages. Would definitely stay at Misty Mountain again!
Very comfortable in the cabin. Host responded every time we had a concern. Communicate as needed. Kitchen was stocked and I was impressed with the gadgets and extras. Beds and couch were very comfortable.
This cabin was spacious and everything we needed to rest, relax, have fun and prepare meals when we chose. I would recommend this to any family or group of friends wanting to visit the area.
My family and I stayed here to enjoy Pigeon Forge and celebrate my son’s birthday. Great location and had everything we needed . It’s cozy and just a great atmosphere to relax! We will be staying here again the family loved it. Great job “T”!!
The cabin was very clean and well laid out. It worked perfect for a family of five and we enjoyed the quietness of the area. Also appreciated the fact it was so close to Pigeon Forge allowing us to go in for meals and activities.
Had an amazing trip to Misty Mountain log cabin. Excellent location! Just far enough off the beaten path to feel away from the city, close enough to run to the store if needed! Property owner was super responsive, even answered a call at midnight when we had a question upon check in. **make sure to use the keypad ON the door, below the doorknob, and not the keypad on the wall NEXT to the door.**. Because we got to the property so late, it was dark and we didn’t see it. Not the owners fault. It’s clearly visible in the daylight, lol. We understand this owner has other properties, will definitely be connecting with him to stay again in a new location.
Highly recommend!
We really enjoyed our stay. Within 25min of dollywood and alum trail hike. Quiet. Had everything we needed to make full dinners. Property manager was extremely prompt with any communication we had.
Layout and cleanliness was great. Plenty of bath towels ad cloths. Didn’t have enough Eating utensils for our group of 10, nor enough dishcloths. Hot tub on porch appears to be leaking and jets don’t work - we were unable to use. Mayn need to check porch railing on second floor because sections are rotting and a bit wobbly. Supply of beach towels was great!
We had an amazing time at the cabin and exploring Tennessee. There was plenty of room for 4 adults and 2 teens. It was hard to keep the teens out of the game room! We cooked a lot of meals in the well equipped kitchen. The hot tub was a great bonus. The only thing I would add is additional trashcans or more frequent trash pickup. The 2 outside cans were full when we checked in and did not get picked up the whole week. Thank you for a great vacation.
We packed up last minute me and 4 kids. I reserved this Cabin and in 10 min or less we signed paperwork. This is our second time using VRBO. No complaints. Hill was steep to cabin but after the first time going up. The times after that the car never scrapped under the bumper. We enjoyed our stay. Will be going back.
We enjoyed our stay at Misty Mountain! Our family was able to rest and relax in the game room, hot tub/deck, and the living room area. This cabin was exactly what we needed.
Just an FYI for future renters though...use the keypad on the door, not the one on the wall lol. We made that mistake, but the owner of the property was super helpful and responded quickly when we needed assistance!
The cabin is immaculate. I love the separation downstairs for all of the games and views outside.
There’s a TV in almost every single room and all of the bathrooms were stocked with towels
We really enjoyed our stay at the Misty Mountain! We had both my parents, my in-laws, and our two children with us on this trip. There was plenty of space to spread out!
The Kitchen: It was well-equipped. We had absolutely everything we needed. The Brita pitcher was a nice plus since the cabin uses well water, although we never had an issue with the tap water tasting or smelling funky. We ate most of our meals at the cabin and had no complaints about dishes or other kitchen items. The huge table was a nice perk!
Living spaces and Decks: We enjoyed sitting outside and listening the rain falling most days. This cabin does not have a million-dollar view of the mountains, but it is peaceful and wooded without being completely off the beaten path. We also enjoyed the hot tub. The couch in the living room was huge and comfy. We enjoyed the game room too in the basement.
Bedrooms: Our kiddos (5 and 7) enjoyed the bunks downstairs. They loved having their own space. The main level rooms were comfy, I'm usually picky about beds and our bed was great. The loft room was also nice, though not too private. It is a loft so there aren't full walls that separate the space from the living room below. Just as an FYI. If you love the sound of rain on a tin roof, the loft is the spot for you!
Bathrooms: Bathrooms were adequate. I would have liked to have had an ensuite bathroom for both main level bedrooms, but we made do just fine. The laundry room was wonderful and spacious!
Location: The driveway was steep, as advertised, but we made it up ok in our AWD minivan. We were within a close distance to Dollywood and main drag, without feeling right in the middle of the hustle and bustle. It was a good compromise between seclusion and the more touristy parts. We drove past the mountain coasters so many times going back and forth that we finally tried out the Goats of the Roof one--super fun! The little Amish county store close the cabin was also neat. We found lots of good treasures to eat there!
Some of the blinds were broken and could use some attention. The floors also left our socks pretty black on the bottoms. Everything else about the cabin was clean and well-maintained! Owner was very responsive and helpful. We have already recommended this cabin to friends of ours and would stay here again for sure! Thanks for a wonderful stay in the mountains!
I give it overall 4 stars for these reasons. Took us over an hour to find the cabin because it was dark and the cabin didn't have any reflective numbering. I would suggest to get reflective numbers put on the cabin so it can be seen at night. The driveway is at a 90 degree angle extremely steep scraped my vehicle bad every time going down the drive way. Finally even though the owner was always available we got there Thursday night to discover the hot tub wasn't working, we called and called again on Friday, no-one was sent to look at the hot tub until Saturday late afternoon and we were leaving the next morning, therefore we couldn't get the use out of the hot tub like we should've and wasn't offered anything for us not being able to use it. Other than that the cabin was exactly as advertised. Nice, clean, spacious and extremely quite neighborhood.
Loved the cabin it was very nice and spacious for everyone that stayed
The cabin was nice and clean when we got there the property owner would message fast if we had any questions there was lots to do around the area and we enjoyed the hot tub inside our cabin
We had a great time in the Smokies. This property was clean and well-managed. We would definitely recommend to anyone considering travelling to the area.
Well kept cabin in In a great location. Pigeon Forge is basically right around the corner and Gatlinburg is a scenic drive away. Cabin was clean and functions well. Check in process was seamless and the owner responds promptly to any questions or concerns. Highly recommend!

I love traveling with my family and we have been all around this beautiful country but once we came to see the Great Smoky Mountains, we fell in love with them. The rolling green hills, clear cool rivers, bewildering wildlife and friendly people captivated us. We decided to buy a cabin to have a place to call home in this mesmerizing area. We also believe sharing what you have and building relationships is how we progress as humanity therefore, we would love to share this amazing cabin with whoever wants to come and enjoy it.
Why they chose this property
