On Rodeo Drive, one block south of the Beverly Hills Hotel in the most exclusive neighborhood of Beverly Hills. Built in 1912, this elegant old Hollywood estate was once home to Joseph Kennedy and his paramour Gloria Swanson. Guests have included Humphrey Bogart, Lauren Bacall, Frank Sinatra and John Kennedy. Since its illustrious days as a Hollywood watering hole the house has been restored to perfection with an emphasis on comfort and warmth.

A country house in the middle of the city. Hardwood floors and early American antiques throughout. Large open rooms that flow into each other, huge windows. A light filled dining room with long table for entertaining. Adjacent pantry and comfortable eat-in kitchen fully equipped with a Viking Range for those who love to cook. A library lined with books and den, with leather chairs and a flat screen TV.

Master bedroom with fireplace. Four other cheerful bedrooms and a nursery adjacent to the master. Firm yet comfortable beds with crisp white sheets. 2 full baths and 2 half baths. One of the bedrooms doubles as an office, fully equipped with fax and highspeed internet that enables guests to work while on vacation. The Real Beverly Hills

This is such a special, soulful, comfortable home. Yes very clean, yes check in was easy, yes accurately described, communicating with Owners easy and delightful, location is amazing, convenient, fun, just don’t book it unless you ask me first to see I’m staying there again! It is an absolutely special, comfortable, graceful home. So grateful to have found such a unique, happy place for our family to stay.

Amazing stay in the heart of Beverly Hills

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house is located right in the heart of Beverly Hills - it’s actually a 10 minute stroll to the shops on Rodeo Drive. Deborah was a super host and was very helpful with suggestions regarding restaurants and things to do. The house itself is full of character and very spacious. The pool is super sized perfectly maintained and our kids couldn’t have been happier with it. All in all it was a dream stay and we would recommend it to anyone considering an upmarket stay in Beverly Hills.

Lovely home for the holidays

This was the perfect home for our family to spend the holidays together! Debbie is a really wonderful host and her home has everything we needed for our stay. All 12 of us fit perfectly and this is a super kid-friendly family home. We loved it!!! The Beverly Hills location can't be beat. Great memories were made here.

Great family vacation in a classic house.

The house was a dream-come- true, right on the famous Rodeo Drive. Comfortable, clean and perfectly situated. The art on the walls was fantastic, the interior furnishing tasteful. The house was perfect for our children (two teenagers, one younger). The hosts were helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. We walked all over Beverly Hills and found it easy to get to the beach and Hollywood. Highly recommend!

Amazing Villa

I rented this villa with five friends and we had a blast. The location was perfect, the house comfortable and full of good cheer. We cooked several delicious meals and loved hanging out around the kitchen table. Each of us picked the bedroom we wanted and happily found that all the beds were sublime. Can’t wait to come back!

Easter Holiday

What a perfect destination for a family gathering. Our group that included grandparents, adult children and grand children met in Los Angeles for Easter. This villa on Rodeo Drive was the perfect location. Set in a beautiful neighborhood but within walking distance to downtown Beverly Hills, we felt like we were within striking distance of every place we wanted to visit. The villa has a great vibe, open and light filled rooms, and a kitchen that’s the heart of the house. The rooms are tastefully decorated. It was like being at home, except better. The hosts were very accommodating. We would come again in a heartbeat.

Wonderful House

We met at this lovely home for a cousin-crew reunion and to celebrate our grandmother's 100th birthday. It was the perfect home for us to both hang out and get some quiet space and rest when needed. The kitchen and dining room were perfect for our crew to share meals and play games. This home is gorgeous, comfortable and filled with excellent art and lovely light. The owner is easy, flexible and kind. We enjoyed walking in the neighborhood and it was easy to there from the airport. We are planning on returning for another cousin reunion and our grandmother's 101th birthday!

PERFECT DELIGHT

Great location, close to everything but quiet and serene. Big light-filled rooms, great kitchen for cooking, great dining room for our extended family. Lets Have a Reunion in Beverly Hills !!!!!

We were 12 women, all related, ages 9-75 and we all loved this house!! If we didn't walk and enjoy block after block of beautiful homes, Uber was there in 2 mins. We shopped, visited colleges, toured studios, ate in nearby famous restaurants, found a Yoga studio and then would gather in the big living room or dining room and share our stories. Mornings we sat around the kitchen table and planned our day. Everything was super clean, light and airy and the owners so helpful and kind.

Wonderful

We had the pleasure of staying in Debbie and Dale's home over Christmas. Eight of us from the Midwest were joined by our LA grandson and part time by our LA son and daughter-in-law. Our only complaints were 60 degree weather and long lines at Disneyland. I don't suppose we can blame our hosts for that. Debbie and Dale were on site in the smaller guest house which was ideal. They were there for any needs but never intrusive. The home is older but well maintained, large but still comfortable. Interesting art and other decorations but not such that you felt like you were in a museum. Location was excellent making neighborhood walking enjoyable, perfect walk for Starbucks a few blocks away. We certainly recommend this home.

A Wonderful Family 50th Celebration

we live in the Philadelphia, PA area, as do two of our three sons and their families. As our youngest son and his family moved to LA last year, we decided to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary by bringing our east coast family to see how their west coast family was living. We were so blessed to rent ,Debbie and Dale's beautiful home in Beverly Hills. It was large enough to accommodate 11 of us under one roof with a beautiful salt water pool that became a wonderful gathering place at the beginning or end of a busy day. The house had a great feel and flow in a beautiful setting. We had a lovely anniversary party in the spacious yard. Because the home is so well-situated, everyone was able to do their "own thing" with little effort. It also is a great walking neighborhood. Best yet, Debbie and Dale were warm and welcoming hosts. Our 8 year old granddaughter asked us to include that the "beds were comfortable, the pool was like heaven, the house was very unique, the owners were super nice and so was Mirna"(who kept the place spotless). So go and enjoy!!!

Magical Spot

We rented this Villa to share with our family for our son's graduation weekend. We are so glad that we did!! Weeks later, we still enjoy thinking about this home. There was room for everyone to enjoy the space. We had a family celebration dinner together which was easy to host. The Villa has an easy flow to it, each room leading to the next with lots of Art to discover and architectural detail to enjoy. It is relaxed and elegant at the same time. The pool is a pleasure to lounge around and lots of fun for the children to play in. The old Hollywood vibe has been maintained in this magical spot. We highly recommend this Villa especially if you appreciate Art, Literature, Film and the Creative Spirit. The history of this home and the detail of its decor is an adventure in itself. The owners and housekeeper of this property added a much appreciated warmth to our stay.

Home way from home

This place is amazing and really make you feel as if you were at home. My family came from France for our wedding and stayed there for a week. The place was perfect and spacious enough to accomodate 9 adults and two small kids. The house is as beautiful as on the pictures close to Beverly Hills, very clean, well maintained and in a quiet area. But more than the place itself, the owners really made this week amazing. Debbie and Dale are extremely friendly and very helpful. I would recommend this place without hesitation to any of my friends.

Walk to Rodeo Drive

We had great expectations and the house turned out even better than what we had hoped for. We arrived after dark so couldn't see the rooms or grounds. The first clue that things were going to go right was the bed. I'm very particular when it comes to beds, and the bed in the master was as comfortable as ours at home. We awoke to find ourselves in a beautiful room, gazing up at great art on the walls (unexpected). The room felt peaceful and still, although it looks out over the world famous Rodeo Drive. The kitchen was cheerful, a great place to cook and enjoy time with friends. The backyard was spacious and lovely. We were delighted. The other couples we were were traveling with found their stay equally as enjoyable. Our hosts Debbie and Dale were very helpful. If you like good architecture, historic charm and a great location, I fully recommend this house. We'll be back!

Beverley Hills Classic

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful property. We were in a quiet location in a very attractive street, within easy walking distance of both Sunset Boulevard and the shops and restaurants of Rodeo Drive. Rodeo Drive Shangri-la

Perfect house, perfect location. I recommend for anyone who likes a house with character, grace and history. The photos tell the story; large rooms with lots of light, tastefully furnished. The property was clean and well-maintained. The dining room and pool were perfect for entertaining. It was great to be able to walk out the door and stroll down Rodeo Drive anytime we felt like it. Bliss in Beverly Hills

This house rocks! It feels very European, like a villa in the south of France. The rooms are big, open and comfortable. The garden is a field of green. We had many special requests and the owners bent over backwards to arrange everything the way we wanted it. They supplied a great housekeeper. The rooms were immaculate, the kitchen very functional. Their hospitality made us feel so welcome. The next time we visit Los Angeles, either for work or pleasure, we will book ourselves into Rodeo Drive.

Location, Location, Location

The location is the first thing we loved about this house, and so will you! We wanted to find a place that was convenient to downtown Beverly Hills and yet in a tranquil residential section. Well, this villa couldn't have been more perfectly situated. It's got the charm of an old world mansion and when you step inside you feel transported to a romantic era, when architects put their heart and soul into designing a home. But even though it's old, all the amenities have been updated. Our family of five was perfectly comfortable and I would recommend this house to anyone with children- both young and in their teens. It's not too formal and, above all, it's safe. The owners went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. The house was immaculate and they provided the services of a great housekeeper. We look forward to coming back and staying longer!

Paradise Villa

Words can't describe how much we liked this house. In the past we'd stayed at the Beverly Hills Hotel and loved the neighborhood (the most exclusive in Beverly Hills). We'd noticed this elegant house while driving down Rodeo Drive. It really stood out. Old world charm, character and grace. So we felt quite comfortable booking our vacation here. The spacious rooms, the great art on the walls, and the comfortable beds made it perfect. The dining room is quite unusual- full of light from a huge window that looks out over the garden. We also liked the eat-in kitchen for breakfast and meals with the kids. Our children range from three to sixteen, and the house turned out to be perfect for all ages. The little one was safe running around and the teenager could go off on her own down into Beverly Hills. The shops and restaurants are a five minute walk from the house so it couldn't be more convenient. And the owners were exceedingly helpful and generous. I would say if you want to find paradise in Los Angeles, this is it.

Over the years the house has been a magnet for famous Hollywood screenwriters and directors, who have gathered here for meals and parties and to collaborate on projects. It's open, spacious, and warm vibe has nurtured many creative endeavors.

Why they chose this property

Historic property located on one of the most exclusive streets in the world. Safe, beautiful and tranquil neighborhood but centrally located and within walking distance to downtown Beverly Hills.

This house has been in Deborah's family since 1941. Deborah's father was a Hollywood screenwriter who wrote STALAG 17 with Billy Wilder. We bought it from her parents 22 years ago. It's a well known house in Beverly Hills because it's one of two examples of the Craftsman style in the city. People often tell us it's their favorite house in Beverly Hills.

What makes this property unique

Although tranquil and serene inside, the house is centrally located. Easy walking to the cafes and shops of Beverly Hills. In spite of the glitz and glamor of BH, the house and neighborhood give off the feeling of living in a beautiful village. When traveling by car, visitors find that the location is convenient for travel to the beach, downtown and the Valley.
