Location and Views!

We completed a long term stay here in January and February. The condo has great views and is one mile from the BC Arrowhead lot. Great location for skiing at Beaver Creek and Vail. The condo was well stocked, the bathrooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The Edwards Riverwalk is within walking distance so lots of nice shops and restaurants nearby. There is also plenty of parking outside. We will be back!

Excellent ski vacation

Andrew is an easy host to work with and is available for questions. He provided a customer-friendly check-in, checkout process which meant a lot to us as we checked out at 3:00 am to make our flight in Denver. The location is perfect for skiing at Beaver Creek, Vail and an easy drive to Copper. Groceries were easily acquired at the Walmart in Avon or in the local market within walking distance of the condo. The condo was a nice size for our family of 5 adults/teens. All our basic needs were met. The beds were comfortable. We enjoyed relaxing in the sunny living room overlooking the Eagle River and snowy ridges. Andrew, thank you for a stress-free stay and for some good advice for accessing the slopes.

Clean, Comfortable, and Convenient

The property was well cleaned and stocked with essentials in anticipation of our stay. 2 Queen bedrooms with private bath and a 3rd full size futon and communal full bath as well as an open design kitchen/ dining/ living area was more than enough room for my small group(3 men) but was relatively inexpensive and a great value. Restaurants, marketplace, and shuttle to the mountain all within 5 minutes or less made it a really convenient location for us as well.

Perfect Location

It takes approximately 2 minutes to drive from this property to the free Arrowhead parking lot of Beaver Creek Resort - perfect! The property was well furnished, and the owner very responsive throughout the process. Would stay again!

Great Location and Nicely Appointed

Stayed here for several months. It is perfectly located near interstate, shopping, restaurants, and resorts. Very roomy. Has everything you will need including some food, some toiletries, and cleaning supplies. Area is quiet. Parking is good. Easy access. Well furnished. WIFI. What else do you need? Highly recommend.

Loved it !

This was the second year we stayed at this property during the holiday. We absolutely love how convenient everything is, from restaurants to the shuttle for Beaver Creek Village. The owner is extremely easy to communicate with and is very accommodating. Great experience again.

Nice space on the Eagle River in the heart of Edwards

We are a family of four (two teenagers) who spent a week in August staying in this property. The space accommodated us great. The kitchen is well-equipped, the beds are comfortable, and the sound of the river off the balcony is wonderful. It's steps to the pool, walking distance to Riverwalk and the skateboard park, and minutes from anywhere in the Valley.

Great location!

This condo was in a great location, perfect for fall color day trips in any direction. Easy access to Vail/BC and Carbondale/Basalt. Quite condo and neighborhood. Open the door to the deck and you can hear the creek rushing by. Watched the full moon rise from the deck as well. Everything you need for a comfortable stay, to cook or grill out at night, and it's close to Edwards if you don't want to cook :) Would definitely come back - in any season!

Great place!

This condo has everything you need for a great stay and is close to the Edwards town center, bike trail along the Eagle River, Beavercreek, and Vail. The condo is very spacious (we have 2 teenagers) and we still had plenty of space. The owner was really easy to work with and highly recommend this property especially compared to other places in Beavercreek and Vail, which were double the rate per night if not more and you're only 10-15 minutes from Vail. Beavercreek is right down Hwy. 6 about 10 minutes. Starry skies and listening to the Eagle River at night with the windows open in early August were an added bonus! Nice pool on property for warm afternoons too. Check out Fiestas in town for good Mexican food. We would stay here again and recommend to friends and family.

Excellent week!!

We had a wonderful week exploring Colorado from Andrew's condo. He was a pleasure to work with. We didn't have any problems, but he was in contact with us right before we arrived and right before we left, so I'm assuming he would have been right there if anything went wrong. My only complaint was that there's no air conditioning and we were there on 96 degree days. It was easily solved by leaving the condo closed during the day and opened at night...the cool mountain air kept it cool all day as long as we weren't adding heat during the hottest parts of the day. The condo is exactly as pictured. The bed upstairs is extremely comfortable and there was plenty of room for the family. When you want to just hang around, relax and listen to the sound of the river, there are plenty of puzzles, games and books to occupy your relaxation time. Also don't miss Crazy Mountain Brewery...no food...just beer...but great people and atmosphere.

Great place to base a visit to Eagle County!

Two families (4 adults, 2 kids) used this condo as a base in February during the FIS World Champs at Beaver Creek. It's location was a perfect point to get to Beaver Creek, Vail and into the town of Edwards (which is a good place to visit for restaurants, groceries, etc.) The deck looks out on the Eagle River which is a beautiful setting when hanging out in the condo.

GREAT LOCATION & PERFECT HOSTS

So close to great skiing. Ideal location. Perfect accommodations.

Thank you Andrew and Laura for such a comfortable and gracious (5) night stay at your location in Edwards. I didn't realize how accessible all the ski resorts are from Edwards nor did I realize how generous the space inside your condo is. The proximity of the main town of Edwards and all of its amenities is also so conveniently. I'd come back in a heart beat!

fantastic, convenient, quite and --great find!

Great experience in all respects! Booking and follow through is simple and expedient. Owner is a gem to deal with. Accommodations are comfortable with 3BR/3Bath and very nice amenities in the unit, including upgraded kitchen appliances. Location is stellar, just minutes off I-70 but secluded on private "reserve" yet withing easy 10 minute walk to River Walk in Edwards for great restaurants, grocery, movies, shopping, etc. The view out the back to the Eagle River--not to mention the magnificent home "estate" across the river and all the colors along the river and up the mountain is pretty spectacular. Exceptionally quite and peaceful with very courteous and friendly "neighbors" in the building and pretty amazing fishing in the Eagle right out the back door! All in all, an outstanding "find" in the Vail Valley. My compliments to the owner!

Family retreat

This condo provided a wonderful getaway for our family of five. The dining table was plenty big for a rousing game of Settlers of Catan. The outdoor grill cooked our ham steaks and zuchinni's to perfection. The pool was a refreshing spot after hiking in Holy Cross Wilderness. We hope to return someday soon.

Great find in Edwards!

We had a wonderful stay at this charming condo in Edwards. Quiet, comfortable unit with all the comforts of home. We found it clean, and well stocked. Beautiful setting on the Eagle River, and only a short walk to downtown Edwards on the trail. Incredibly convenient location for skiing with Beaver Creek, and Arrowhead only minutes away. The owner was a pleasure to work with. He provided us with information, and links to events, and activities the area offers. It will be our "go-to" place in Edwards! Enjoy!!

Great location and home

We were really pleased with out entire experience: the condo, the location, and the ease of working with the owner. Very pleasant stay

Wow.... Wonderful town, wonderful condo!!!

Edwards is a wonderful, fairly new, small town that is also very close to the larger Avon/Vail ski resorts. The Architect's Condo is in a great location near the Eagle River and within a very short walk of the main shops in Edwards. The Condo was very well appointed and definitely well maintained. The owner was extremely helpful, providing plenty of information for both his Condo and the area's attractions. We had a very full schedule of rafting, kayaking, hiking, ATV, flyfishing and site seeing all within minutes of "home". Highly Recommended....

Great location, Great condo

Our family of 5 loved our summer vacation in Edwards. The condo is well maintained, and Andrew is very easy to work with. Plenty of room for our 3 teenage children. Full sized appliances a plus, and the well stocked kitchen made it enjoyable to cook dinners together. Everything was clean, plenty of sheets, blankets, etc., and the brand new spa towels are great! Beautiful setting on the river. It was nice to walk outside to the bike/hike trail and go to the Riverwalk shopping area, or jog out towards Beaver Creek. The bike path runs along I-70 in both directions for many miles. Edwards is a great location. We liked the small town feel, and being close to many larger town amenities just a few miles away. Most of our meals we cooked and ate at the condo, but we had great pizza at Valley Forge Pizza. We did our grocery shopping at the Walmart in Avon, and at the grocery store in the Riverwalk. We hiked Mt Elbert near Leadville, and Mt Quandry near Breckenridge. Leadville has a great bakery/coffee shop called City on a Hill. And we liked Clint's bakery in Breck. We also hiked to Hanging Lake, a beautiful lake near Glenwood Springs, and the Mcullough Gulch trail to the beautiful falls and alpine lake. At the lake we encountered a mountain goat with her 3 babies, and my daughter surprised a deer one evening, who happened to be running on the hike/bike path, too! We aren't shoppers, but there is plenty of shopping close by in Vail and Beaver Creek. We wish we could have stayed longer. There were so many things we didn't get a chance to do.

I moved to Vail Valley from Seattle in January 1994 and bought my condo as my first home in July 1998. In January 2001 I opened my Edwards Architecture studio and in 2007, i moved to Denver and split time between city and mountains.

I selected my Edwards condo for the neighborhood with acreage located on the Eagle River. The adjacent park, bike path and bridge to Riverwalk arrived later. The Condo is close to skiing at Beaver Creek & Vail, hiking & biking in the mountains, and walking distance to the heart of Edwards. It is located 20 minutes east of Eagle-Vail Airport and 2 hours west of Denver on I-70.
