This charmingly updated cabin is snuggled in Ekern’s Bay on Prairie Lake, within the Chetek Chain of Lakes. A perfect destination for a family or small group to relax at.

Enjoy year-round fun within steps of the lake. Bring your boat for easy access to Prairie and Mud Lake. No boat? No problem. Cast a line off the dock or use our paddle boat. Can drive a snowmobile right onto the ice from the property.

Our cabin has been inspected and approved by the county for short-term rentals.

Perfect Location

We really enjoyed our stay on the Chetek chain of lakes. The house was well cared for, clean and had everything we needed to make our family vacation effortless. The owners were very friendly and responsive and the location was perfect. It was very nice not having a lot of boat traffic to listen to while sitting outside on the patio but we liked that it was just a short boat ride to bigger part of the lake.

Enjoyed the lake!

The home is well cared for and we enjoyed the easy access to the dock on the lake from the home. Close to Chetek for things you need. We enjoyed the stay!

Chetek Fishing trip

Used this property for a fishing trip with my mom and brothers. It worked great for our needs. It was very clean and check in was super easy. Owners were very responsive and answered all my questions right away. Love the location on a quiet bay with easy access to the chain of lakes. The only suggestion I would make is to add a fish cleaning hut.

Lakeside Relaxation

Spacious, clean, well maintained property. Great view from the deck where we enjoyed reading and watching the birds on the lake. Enjoyed evenings by the fire pit.

Great place to stay, easy access to all lakes. Would update bathroom fixtures ( had to pull really hard to get shower fixture to work). Overall, great place to stay.

Perfect Girls Weekend

This was a great setting for a friends get-away weekend. The interior was spacious with plenty of room to move around and relax. Great view of the lake from the deck. It was a short drive to town when we decided to explore.
