Epic Getaway Destination

Fantastic property with A+ amenities. We had a group of 16 for a surprise 50th birthday party and we could not have picked a better spot. Amazing kitchen that was fully stocked with all of the pots, pans, utensils, etc. that we needed for a group that large. Great hiking/walking trails, plenty of spots to sit and read a book, fantastic firepit, and amazing fly fishing a few hundred yards away on the property. Probably my #1 VRBO experience!

Great place to disconnect

Our photography group was looking for a place near Cherry Springs to shoot the milky way. The skies are dark over the property so we never left the place. We all got some good pictures. If you are an internet junkie, this is not for you. Weak cell reception and wifi with no internet connection. We loved it! The property is beautiful and very well maintained. We had 13 people, with a mix of couples and singles, and we had plenty of room. The furnishings are all first class. We will come back!

Memorable family reunion

A paradise for nature lovers. This is a family owned property with a stream, pond and creek right on site with complete privacy for extended family reunions. Grant and Terri were gracious hosts who paid attention to little details to make sure our stay is enjoyable and made sure our family has created memories to last a lifetime. Thank you. Next time we will plan for a longer stay.

An amazing getaway for outdoor lovers

This place is amazing! I rented it for a long weekend with 12 other guys between ages 35-40. We spent the days playing yard games on the massive property, swam in the creek, hiked and relaxed - even saw a black bear up close - amazing. At night, the quietness and the darkness is soothing - spent time next to both fire pits, listening to music and sharing laughs. This place is special - everyone found a way to have fun and to relax and it brought us together in a distraction free way that seems so rare in modern times. The two homes on the property are also very comfortable with three massive refrigerators and a very large commercial freezer. Bedrooms, beds and bathrooms are plentiful and easily held our large group. Also, Grant and Terri are just fantastic people to deal with and to get information from - so kind, helpful and welcoming. Do not hesitate, spend some time here! Get away - you deserve it.

Folded Hills- Simply Amazing!

Magic is the only word that describes Folded Hills Lodge. Tucked away in southern Potter County, which is referred to as "God's Country", Folded Hills is a perfect escape from daily reality. The house is large yet cozy with a huge kitchen with a fireplace that is amazing for cooking meals with friends and family. The beds are comfortable and the living areas make you feel right at home, especially when playing board games, or reading a book on the swing on the stone front porch. The place is so relaxing. The Private Park upon which the lodge sits really steals the show. The grounds are amazing. There are two beautiful fire pits with plenty of wood and the stars you will see at night are incredible due to the lack of light pollution in this part of dark sky part of Pennsylvania. The area has wonderful hiking that is definitely worth exploring. You will hear and see wildlife throughout your stay. We saw a Bald Eagle. It’s guaranteed, when you come to stay at Folded Hills you are in for a real connection with nature and the surrounding land. The property is also located on the fly fishing catch and release section of Kettle Creek. The fishing is incredible. The creek holds wild and stocked Rainbow, Brown, and Brook trout that are all willing to eat flies. We spent 4-days fishing Kettle creek and exploring up and down the property, finding fish in all the pools. The lodge is also a 30 minute drive to Pine Creek, which is another amazing trout fishery that holds very big brown trout. Pine creek sometimes feels like you are fishing a trout stream in the Western US. Grant, the host is fantastic. He was always available for questions and shared helpful information. The area lacks reliable cell phone and internet service which some might be worried about. Trust me, it is absolutely a blessing. The ability to connect with friends and family while staying at Folded Hills is something that is rarely found in today’s world so I barely noticed it. The area is safe, people are friendly, and I did not want to leave. I can’t recommend staying here enough, it is a perfect place to come relax and reconnect with yourself, friends, family, and nature. A true 10/10 experience!
