Great Suite in Monomet!

Fiancée and I stayed over Labor Day weekend. We absolutely loved it! Perfect size for what we needed, walking distance to the beach, great neighborhood to walk our dog, and plus the fenced in front yard was nice for sitting outside. Will definitely book again!

Plymouth

Love the town, only 15 minutes away. The beach is a two minute walk and wonderful. The house needs to be cleaned before new guests arrive, and not just in ten minutes.

The experience couldn't have been better! The owner was fantastic and super accommodating. The location was fantastic and it wasn't a far drive to downtown Plymouth. We can't wait to stay again!

AMAZING

I was so excited to have found this on VRBO for myself along with my husband and 2 dogs. It offered everything I was looking for. Private place to stay, steps from a private beach, and was able to bring my 2 dogs!! The apartment is very clean, and included everything you need for a vacation!! Owner Sandra provided us with all the information we needed. The location is just perfect! Restaurants, shopping, and ice cream shops all within 2 miles. The bed is comfortable, clran bathroom and fenced in yard are excellent. Kitchen includes full size appliances as well as everything you need. Location is incredible, short stroll to the beach. Sandra had excellent restaurant recommendations and was of great help. She went above and beyond to make our long-weekend comfortable and memorable. We can not wait to visit again!! Short visit with son and 2 little dogs.

We found the place to be dated, but adorable. It is a good size apartment with everything we needed. It was wonderful to bring our 2 little doggies with us. Sandy was lovely and very helpful. Excellent stay - location just as described.

This studio apartment was perfect for me, my husband and our dog. The apartment is exactly as described, clean and a 2 minute walk from a private dog-friendly beach. Sandra is great at communication and made sure we had everything we needed for the weekend. If you’re looking for a dog-friendly stay in Plymouth, this is it!

Nice getaway

The VRBO owner, Sandy, was very welcoming, inviting us to bring our dogs, offering beach chairs and a comfortable stay at her in-law apartment. The apartment was cozy and comfortable, with both a king bed and living area with futon for additional family. Manomet Beach is a quick walk from her VRBO. It is one of the most beautiful and quiet beaches with close proximity and easy travel route to Connecticut. Plymouth has some wonderful restaurants, great seafood and interesting little shops. We enjoyed our stay and Sandy was very accommodating and friendly.

Location is definitely coastal, but interior needs work

The location of this property is quite convenient for walking the coast, but the “apartment” itself needs mold remediation and deep cleaning. The amount of yellow/white pet hair under the recliner rivaled a small carpet. Lest this gets blamed on my pets who travel with me, both of mine have dark hair. Mildew smell was emanating from under the sink in the kitchen as well as the spare room with the hand scribbled “Emergency Exit Only” sign on the door. This spare room housed the heater. Between the mildew smell and a faint moth ball odor, it was overpowering at times. There is a pallet of wood/synthetic material on the floor of the shower stall which was malodorous as well. Not sure what the purpose of that pallet was, but didn’t care to ask. The shower curtain was also covered at its base with mold/mildew. The tile grout had mold as well. We opted to not shower the one night there. The futon was quite lumpy, and the bed sits directly on its boxspring on the floor. No frame. Most of the plates and bowls were cracked or chipped. Not safe to eat off of by any means. I took pictures of everything in the event the owner, who was nice enough, wants to deny these issues. I didn’t request for her to come clean it as she mentioned in a rebuttal to a previously written poor review. I didn’t speak to her about it because really, with all these issues, what was she going to do? Instead, we checked out after one night’s stay. I carry two epipens with me at all times because of my severe allergies to mold. While fortunate that I did not have to use either, I did have to leave early out of an abundance of caution as clearly there was black mold in that bathroom. This was not at all what we expected and certainly not worth our expense. It didn’t work for us. Very disappointing.

Great place for pets!

Check in was so easy and the neighbors were so friendly! Sandra was very kind and helpful. My dogs are quite large and they had plenty room to have their space. Quick walk to the beach and lookout point and wonderful community.

Tidy and Quiet Space with short 2 minute walk to beach!

Sandra was a wonderful host; very responsive and just a generally kind person. Lent me a jacket that I forgot to pack for motorcycle ride! Fenced-in front yard space for water toys and general summertime lounging. Well mannered dog friendly rental option (no dogs on furniture please). Overall, a perfect space for family of 2 plus 1. Thank you Sandra!

Extremely gracious host and a beachside view!!

My (now) wife and I got married during a weekend spent at this property and we had so much fun! A nice studio with everything you need and a 2 minute walk to the beach. We brought our two pups and they had a blast. Probably the best thing to round out this place was the perfect host. Sandy was the kindest and most helpful host we’ve ever interacted with and she made this very special weekend for us infinitely better! Absolutely would (and will) be back!

We had a fabulous weekend and loved finding a pet friendly stay so close to the beach, which can be challenging. Sandy was so accommodating and helpful. We eloped on the beach right down The street from the studio and it was perfect! Hope to be back !

Definitely NOT a beach paradise!

This property is NOT a beach paradise! The in-law studio was never cleaned as per the owner. There was sand everywhere I walked. There was mold in the stand up shower which the owner claimed was condensation which it wasn’t. The trash can was never emptied. There was meat that was dark gray left in the freezer. The dishes had dried food stuck to them and so we’re the pots. Only the back two electric burners worked on the stove. The Wi-Fi name and password didn’t work. The air conditioner filter hadn’t been cleaned in who knows how long. From the looks of it that place hasn’t been cleaned for a while. Very out dated. You can’t even see the beach from the property but yet it’s advertised that it’s a 2 min walk to the beach and it’s not. The beach itself isn’t as nice as it seems . It’s a rocky beach. We spent one night there and we were out of there by 9:30 am the following day. I read all the reviews that were listed but after being there it seems to me that the are misleading and far fetched. I hold no I’ll will just stating my personal experience there. Take my review with a grain of salt.

Sandra is very nice. She’s friendly and accommodating. We only spent a few days but it was great. Location is convenient, some great places to eat close by and the beach is just a few houses down. We hope to go back for another visit.

Private beach!

The host Sandra is very friendly & accommodating. We were running way behind due to traffic & she made it easy for us to check in, despite the hour. Perfect size for a couple or a small family. Private beach is amazing & just a short walk from the apartment.

Family wedding

The main thing I would suggest are making some updates to the property. Mainly the pull out sofa bed. The mattress is so old and bad, my poor sons had springs popping up in them. Needless to say, they didn’t get restful sleep. Everything else was great. Owner was wonderful. Very helpful and professional. Location was also perfect! We had a wonderful weekend despite the bad sleeping conditions for my sons.

My name is Sandra and I live above the in-law rental
I’ve lived in plymouth for eight years but always summer vacation here for 60 years.
It’s a great family oriented neighborhood with a private beach.
7 miles to the Cape cod Canal and 10 miles to Plymouth Center waterfront the Mayflower or Plimoth plantation etc.
Great restaurants local and great restaurants in Plymouth.
It’s less than a two minute stroll to the private beach where dogs are permitted as long as they are on a leash and upon approval from me as to the dog.
The apartment has a king size bed and asleep so fast they can accommodate for but I’m thinking two adults and children if it is for four adults the price would be increased upon discussion.
