This is what surfers call the area, which offers unique wind conditions. Explore the beautiful nature of Thy National Park on hiking and cycling tours. The idyllic Stenbjerg with its authentic fishing village is definitely worth a visit. To the north-west of Thisted lies Nors Sø, whose clear, clean water is a favourite swimming spot, especially for families with children. It is part of the Hanstholm Wildlife Reserve, which offers an impressive bird paradise.
