Beautiful 1BR Condo - Closest Lodging to Bachelor - 7 Minutes to Bend
** Please Note only 1 pool and 1 hot tub will be open until late Sep / early Oct, all pools and hot tubs along with pool area is being resurfaced and refinished **
1 bedroom, 1 bath condo at the Seventh Mountain Resort. Located along the Deschutes river, this resort offers a truly marvelous stay in a great setting. Enjoy staying at the closest lodging to Mt. Bachelor, only minutes from Bend where you will find a large array of shops, breweries, restaurants and many outdoor activities. This 1 bedroom unit sleeps 4, with a queen murphy bed in the living area. It has a fully equipped kitchen and the patio offers easy access to hiking right outside your door.
This cozy condo has everything you need for your stay, including a fireplace and fully equipped kitchen to warm up and fuel up after your day in Bend or on the slopes.
As of January 1st, 2025 this is no longer a pet friendly unit. Existing reservations with pets (there are a few, I have them marked) will be honored. Any evidence of pet will result in a $250 fee and your VRBO account will be marked as bringing a pet to a non-pet unit.
The pools, hot tubs, sauna and fitness center are all open! Pools are open daily 9:00 AM - 10:00 PM, and the fitness center is available for use 24/7.
Only pressed wood (i.e. Duraflame) can be used in the fireplace, these can be purchased at the front desk.
Seventh Mountain offers guests access to 3 swimming pools, 3 hot tubs, a fitness center, picnic areas, sand volleyball, mini-golf, disc golf, tennis courts, pickleball courts a restaurant on-site and more!
I'm not local, but am only a phone call or e-mail away! Check-in is handled at the Seventh Mountain front desk. There is on-site maintenance that will take care of any issues with heat, air, cable or WiFi.

About the host

Growing up in Nebraska, I was always mesmerized by the west and knew I wanted to venture to the ‘Left Coast’ someday. After moving to the bay area in 2000, my wife and I were ready for a slower pace and less hectic lifestyle, so we moved to the Seattle area in 2007 (yes, it was slower back then!) with our 2-year-old daughter and soon to be born son. We visited Bend several times throughout the years and loved the town and everything about the area more with each visit. After a 2019 trip in which we stayed at Seventh Mountain, we started looking at property to spend even more time here.
Those plans were put on hold when my wife was diagnosed with Stage 4 Cancer in fall of 2019. After putting up an incredible fight for 7 months the three of us (and Chewie) were left without the glue that held us together. Coming out of that, I knew I wanted to spend as much time as possible with the people I love, in places I love. Although still in the Seattle area, we make it to Seventh Mountain as often as possible. When we’re not using the condo, we’re fortunate enough to share it with you.
I hope you love Bend as much as we do, and your trip brings you laughs, joy, and an appreciation for the beauty that surrounds us. Life is a gift, carpe diem.

Why they chose this property
We chose Seventh Mountain for the amazing location and amenities. In the winter time, we're the closest lodging to Mt. Bachelor and with the Deschutes National Forest as our backyard, we're always a few steps away from great hiking and mountain biking while being less than 10 minutes from town.
In addition to the amazing locations, the year round heated pools, hot tubs along with disc golf, tennis, pickleball, mini-golf, fitness center and on-site restaurant made this condo perfect for everything we wanted.
