Little bit of Heaven in South Haven

Our stay was wonderful and our host went out of her way to make sure that we saw the best of South Haven! She made us feel at home like long lost family! Highly recommend!

A Stay in the Country

We have stayed at this residence for the past three years and plan to be back there again next year. The house has always felt so clean and welcoming. Donna is very responsive to our requests. Her communication is excellent. We especially enjoy the front and back porches where we could sit and visit or read or even take a nap. Although the home is farther away from the Lake, it doesn't take long to get to South Haven. The setting is private with lots of trees and lovely landscaping. Our family highly recommends this property.

At last! A memorable vacation in a beautiful vacation rental

This home is truly loved by her owner and it shows in every way. The welcoming atmosphere, the tasteful, artistic touches, the amenities, the screen porch, the trails, the birds and that fantastic black squirrel in the woods. If I lived here, I would never leave and I would never let anyone in, and I told the hostess as much. It is a treat and a treasure to be able to see what this home shares. It's a GEM, and so is the hostess. No diamond in the rough, either. Gem quality, end to end. I can't wait to be here again.

Going Back Next Year!

Four siblings with spouses enjoyed a week at this property. We are nature lovers and were impressed with all the flowers, birds and wildlife around the house. The kitchen was a dream with every appliance and cooking utensil one could ever want. We especially enjoyed the screened-in back porch and the front porch swing where we could watch the hummingbirds. There were enough private spaces where we could all find our own niche and read, rest or visit. We've already booked for next year!

A charming place in the outskirts of South Haven.

This home away from home was just that! Loved viewing the owners artifacts from her travels. VERY CLEAN, and the beds were extremely comfortable! We enjoyed one night at the campfire as well as playing cards in the screened in patio. The kitchen was well stocked and ample paper products as well as soap products available. Donna, the owner, was friendly and quick to answer our questions. Thank you for opening your home to us!

Elevated Get Away

I arranged a girls' getaway, and we so enjoyed our stay here! We enjoyed being remote; having a large kitchen, cozy seats & a fireplace; sleeping in comfy rooms that we could imagine larger families enjoying; and waking up with the birds. The location provided us easy access to S Haven or Saugatuck, and as long as you don't mind being 20 minutes from the town centers, you'll be grand! It didn't seem like some of the amenities are readily available like the listing implied- bikes & kayaks. So if those are key to your decision, ask Donna in advance to booking. She was great at responding and provided a lot of local detail. There are plenty of house rules (b/c it's a lovely home!) that you may want a print out of those - they're not unreasonable! Thanks for a great stay Donna!

Wonderful Property!

Our family enjoyed a great stay! The house was very clean, nicely decorated and even better than the pictures. Nature is on full display in the great outdoor spaces including the front porch and screened in back porch. The location allows for reasonable drives to South Haven, Saugatuck, Fennville, etc. Donna was a wonderful host. Definitely on our list of places to revisit for future stays!

Serene get away

Our family had a great experience. The property is close enough to the beaches and water that everything was accessible but removed from the hustle and bustle tourist trappings to be a quiet and peaceful get away. The property itself is a nice place to stay and relax. Our kids enjoyed the large yard and my wife and I enjoyed the screened porch to sit and relax after they went to bed. Donna was a fantastic host and responsive to questions throughout. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend to friends and family alike!
