Our stay was peaceful and relaxing as we hoped and needed.
It was comforting being in a beautiful location and only a short distance off Highway 2 it should the weather turn bad, which it didn't.
My only complaint was I had to wing it with no measuring cup.
We certainly enjoyed our stay at your adorable cabin. Loved that it was so clean and quiet. The stream was great for an "older" fly fisherman. He just didnt catch any fish. You have a little slice of heaven and we hope to return some day. I am still going to find out the name of your cactus.
My wife and I have had the pleasure of staying twice at the Cabin. Both were exceptional. The whole feel of the cabin is roomy, comfortable and inviting. Everything you need to enjoy your stay was included.
The Hosts were so nice, they extended themselves and made sure we had a memorable vacation.
Cabin was very clean and the trails/paths cut down to the creek by the owners were a very nice way to find your way down there after a short walk. Got a bit warm late in the afternoon as the portable AC unit was struggling to keep up with the 100+ degree temps, but generally cooled off by bedtime. Wife and I would stay at the property again in the future.
The property is beautiful and tranquil. There are lots of trails maintained by the owners, which was awesome for our doggies. Cabin was immaculate and had all the necessities. Loved it!
Amazing location with a just the right size 1940s cottage cabin all the right supplies, clean and comfortable. and several secluded spots on the creek just a short walk through the trails. Ideal vacation for us and our two older labs to enjoy the water and woods. Great proximity to Kootanai Falls, Bonnets Ferry and Lake Koocanusa. Hosts were great. Their house is also on the 25+ acre property several hundred feet away, hardly noticed they were there. We hope to stay again —soon!
We were able to just relax which is exactly what our family needed. Beautiful property. Our son and new puppy loved playing in the water while us parents enjoyed coffee and hummingbirds on the deck.
Thank you for such wonderful hospitality and a very pleasant stay.
We rented this log cabin primarily because it was near a river. The cabin was very nicely furnished and had all the supplies you would need.
The kitchen had all the appliances and plenty of dishes and silverware.
The table was large enough for 6 people.
The living room was spacious, seating was plentiful. The air conditioner is in the living room where it cooled the living room very well. We needed to use fans in the bedrooms. Fortunately at night the temperature was generally in the 50s.

Wonderful OMG Amazing. We didn't want to leave. Randy and Suzie are so nice. We will be back to Heaven on Earth Sept 2024. Place was so clean and so nice. Thank you for letting us stay in this wonderful log house.
We recently bought some land in the area and were in town to check out our property. Thus locations was perfect, and had a great space for our dog to run. Very clean, lots of nice touches and very friendly owners. Thanks again for letting us stay!
The cabin was perfect for our 3 adults on a snowmobile trip. The cabin was clean, easy to access even on snowy roads, and warm even on the -3 degree f morning. The snowmobiling was great also.
Our family had a wonderful time staying at the cabin. We found the cabin to be clean, well stocked and spacious. The property is beautiful, with a network of trails leading to relaxing spots along the creek. The wrap-around porch was great for relaxing and watching wildlife. We left hoping to come back again.
We have stayed at quite a few VRBO properties over the years....this one is up there as one of our favorites! The Cabin has everything you need and is so comfortable. We all loved the porch and spending time out there watching the Deer and Eagles morning and night. We saw a nice Bear too!!! We had the added pleasure of meeting Randy, Susie and their son, Ryan. Super nice folks. The only problem we had......was leaving. Our time was too short, easily could have stayed a full week....and next time we will. Just a gorgeous area and wonderful place to explore and relax. Thank you Randy and Susie!!!
We had a very nice time, the cabin was comfortable and in a lovely, wooded area with a nearby stream. Deer wandered the field in the evening- it was very unique.
The property was beautiful! Enjoyed watching the deer and hummingbirds during our stay! Playing in the river was my son's favorite. The house was thoughtfully stocked for those items that you might forget. Wonderful stay!
We were looking for a place to kick back, relax, and get away from the noise and busy-ness of the city. We found it! The cabin was bright, clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The weather was HOT, 100°+ but the cabin was cool and comfortable. Great hiking and beautiful scenery in the area, wildlife to watch, waterfalls, and forests to explore. Not far from grocery store. It's a great place. We'll be back again!
My wife and totally enjoyed our stay. So much so we are looking for land to buy and retire in the area. Hosts were very helpful and friendly. My wife and I slept as well or better than at home. Hosts went above and beyond in stocking the cabin. We enjoyed the Huckleberry Taffy. We highly recommend this slice of heaven.
