Perfect place to relax

We had such a nice relaxing time. We spent a lot of time by the big beautiful tree in the backyard watching the turtles, birds and alligator in the canal. We felt very comfortable, safe and at home here and hope to visit again.

This house has everything you need!

When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised by snacks on the counter; this his the spot, after a long drive. The host was quick to respond, if we had any questions. The kitchen and bedrooms were fully stocked with everything you could need. The view in the back was stunning, too! Thank you for an amazing stay!

Alligator watching

The home was warm and welcoming. We loved the backyard that opened onto a canal. We saw alligators, at least one frequently , even sunning on dock across from us. Also saw turtles and birds. The locations was great for us,

Nice retreat by the water

The house is a hidden gem. It was very clean and had everything we needed to feel at home. The traffic out front is a bit crazy, but you don’t notice it once you’re inside or enjoying the backyard. We loved sitting outside in the morning watching the birds, alligators, and turtles.

We stayed 7 nights in 2023 and 8 nights this time. This house feels like home to us. Everything we need is included. This trip we spent more time sitting in the lovely sunroom. We hope to travel to Florida again and that this house is available to us once again!

Perfect Getaway

We travel alot and this is by far one of the cutest and coziest little house we have ever stayed at. Its super clean and even though its in a neighborhood, the home is quiet. The florida room was perfect for reading and watching all the wildlife. We loved sitting by the lake enjoying coffee in the morning and tea at night under the lighted trees. Beds are comfy and home was well stocked for cooking . We prepared a taco bar for my husbands family to visit for dinner and had everything we needed for that meal and for every meal we prepared . The house is also convenient to groceries and dinners out. Located near Tarpon Springs we enjoyed shopping and Greek cuisine. We will definately be booking here in the future. I would give the house more than 5 stars if i could.

Nous avons aimé malgré tout notre séjour à Aloha Gardens! Mais des notre arrivée, il a fallu que je nettoie presqu'entièrement la maison. Il y avait une fine couche de sable partout dans la cuisine, les salles de bain n’étaient pas propres et le réfrigérateur non plus. C’était tres dommage car la maison était belle et la cour arrière bien aménagée avec une tres belle vue. Je ne crois pas y retourner un jour.

Comfortable!

The home was clean and comfortable! The beds were very comfortable, the house had everything we needed and was located to most of the tourist areas we wanted to go to. The owner was very nice and easy to reach. I would definitely recommend this home!!

Beautiful house inside

We were extremely pleased with the condition inside this home. Everything looked new and so very clean. We did not need anything. It was fun watching the alligator go up the lake and the birds flying around. The night lights in the tree was amazing. I highly recommend this home if you are in the area.

Nice stay at Herron Hideway

A very nice and clean house with everything we needed. Janet is a very accommodating manager and was available to answer any questions that we had. We enjoyed watching the wildlife, and the location was close to a very nice beach, and things to do in nearby Tarpon Springs. Thank you Janet and Deborah . We had a wonderful time and hope to stay at Herron Hideway again.

Very cozy. Perfect size for 4 adults. Check in was flawless. Only complaint is the road is extremely busy Deborah and Janet were great hosts and responded promptly to any questions we had prior to our stay. We all agree we would stay again Thank you ladies

Wonderful home

For our needs, the location couldn't be beat. The Florida room & patio provided much needed respite. We found everything we needed on-site. Only 'complaints' I could list would be: - No connected bathroom to any bedroom - The remote lock vs. numerous guests (never delved into how to 'share' it out as we all left/came-back @ the same time) - The setup in the non-master bedroom was odd. The placement of the bed made it 'tight' to move around & the fan could use some oil/balancing. - Road where house is located == speeders galore - The buffering watching live TV drove us all bonkers :) We all would definately stay again

Amazing place!!!!

Staying at this spot was fantastic! Right on the waterway in the backyard, it was a tropical paradise. Lots of beautiful wildlife to see each morning made it extra special. House was clean and well appointed with all the comforts of home. Contact with host was easy and prompt. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Such a cool little place!

So happy I decided to book this. A cute little house right on the canal. Our first morning we got to watch a gator in the canal and the birds are FANTASTIC and so interesting to watch. We really enjoyed sitting outside watching the wildlife. The bed I had was very comfortable. The house was very clean and tidy. Pretty much anything you may need is there. Loved the locking system where I could unlock and lock the door from my phone. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. You would never know you are not far from a major road with any type of store or restaurant you may want. If you are in the area, this is a MUST stay at house, while you are there check out the Epperson Lagoon in Wesley Chapel. The only 'negative' would be there was almost no toilet paper, both bathrooms were near empty when we arrived. No biggie we bought some, we can't all remember everything lol. Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay at your cozy home!

The Hanleys

Lovely, pristine property wilth everything you need to have a comfortable stay. The view from the back yard was wonderful and we enjoyed watching the wildlife especially the gators! Would highly recommend this property for a relaxing stay.

Visiting from Denver

We had a great time in Holiday. The house was great, AC was perfect on the hot days, so clean, nicely decorated. I traveled with my Godson and it was great having 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It was easy getting around being so close to HWY 19. Very comfy, made traveling and resting very easy. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

I spend most of the year as a volunteer missionary in rural Kenya, working among the Maasai tribe. I love that I can open my home to guests when I'm not home...it provides income for my mission and gives a beautiful place for visitors to stay in our area! My friend Rebecca who lives around the corner is the local manager. She will get you checked-in and answer any questions you have during your stay!
