Super cute, lots of room to accommodate a big family, close to groceries and gas, short drive to Pismo, SLO, etc. Property managers were great, we will definitely stay again.
My wife and I stayed here with a couple of friends for the weekend. The check in was super easy and we really enjoyed the space. There’s a trail right next to the place which is great for a hike or run!
We came to Morro Bay for a weekend with family while my partner and his sister finished the Ironman 70.3 - this home was a great place for us to hang out together, rest, share meals, and be close to town. The quiet neighborhood is perfectly located near the highway, with fantastic access to a lovely hiking trail (that our dog loved!).
What a great place. For the price this property feels a lot bigger than expected. Big bedrooms and enough room for a small group. Walking trails nearby and feels like you are very secluded. Not a lot of outdoor space, but in this area. Who cares :) will definitely stay here again.
Located across the street from an open space and hiking trails, and nestled in the established neighborhood, this home is ideally located. That said, with no A/C and only space heaters for heat, this property won’t be for everyone. The kitchen and entertainment areas are well equipped but the home is multi-leveled, which could present some challenges for some. Overall, it’s quite, has easy access , and priced right for the quality.
Overall our stay was great. It was easy, clean, and the house backed up to Black Mountain so the location was quiet and peaceful. And easy walk into town and about a mile from the Embarcadero. Really the only downsides were that we ran out of paper goods and had to buy our own, the deck area wasn’t really usable because it had tons of pollen and cobwebs, and the main one was that one of the showers was very difficult to use. The knob pulled out from the wall and the temperature was very difficult to get right. We finally had it figured out, but it took some time and getting used to. Despite these little nuances, our stay was great and comfortable and they wouldn’t deter us from coming back.

Convenient
Convenient however we are 77 & too many stairs. Big however yard was small & next door Neighbors dog barked whenever we took our dog out. A little annoying
Overall, our stay was great. The location across the street from the trailhead was amazing for my dog and the house was as advertised. Check-in and check-out were very easy with the smart lock, and the newly replaced carpet in the bedrooms, linens, and towels were all clean. I wish the sliding doors from the bedrooms onto the balcony were repaired to be able to open and close more easily (we could not even move one of them), and the throw rug in the downstairs living area could be cleaned a bit to keep the house a little more pristine, but otherwise the place was great. Past comments about lighting caught my attention before our check-in, but it didn't bother us much. There are lots of lights throughout the house, they just need to be manually switched on and off. This is an older rental with a lot of charm in a great location in Morro Bay. We would come back.

Frat house
My friends and I were very disappointed in this property. It is not well maintained at all. It had a musty smell but most of the windows didn't open so we couldn't air it out properly. Second bedroom beds very uncomfortable. Holes in the bathroom wall, dirty rugs and carpet. If you plan on cooking, the available pots and pans are not very helpful. Most lamps missing lightbulbs. The house is in desperate need of many repairs including the yard and deck. If you are young and just looking for a place to crash, this would work, but we were looking for a comfortable place to stay and this property did not work for us. We wouldn't stay here again.
WE love that we were so close to the trail head for awesome hike up with awesome views!!! Quiet neighborhood. It's an older house so some light bulbs were out and the circuit breaker panel tripped a few times when we used the space heaters. Oven door didn't stay closed so cooking times were off... There were enough beds in this older house and being dog friendly was a plus.
Large, private, dog-friendly home ideally located next to hiking trails. Enjoyed cooking in the large kitchen and hanging out near the gas fireplace. Will keep this on our list for a return to Morro Bay.
The house is great. The only problem was the stairs don't have any banisters. Kinda of hard to get up & down and dangerous. You can hear the highway traffic. Otherwise a really cool place with lots of room.

Spacious but dark
The home was spacious but the furnishings were old. Living room couches were comfy but the family room had two sofas that were not comfortable. The queen beds were quite comfy. There were too few lights and it was hard to see well enough to even play cards in the evenings. The only heaters were space heaters so I’m not sure how warm it would have been if we actually needed to use them. It was great to be allowed to have our dog with a nice trail across the street to walk her every day. There was some nice artwork on the walls. All in all, it worked for our needs.
The check in was smooth. The house was very clean. It’s a bit dated but rustic for the Morro Bay experience. You are not in view of the ocean. But the morning sunrise beyond the mountains and hills is breathtaking. There is a dog walking area only a few hundred feet away from the house. There’s lots of room out front on a patio deck to hang out and talk with friends.
Perfect for Morro Bay activities. Did an electric bike tour and a sunset kayak tour. It is located across the street from Black Hill. Hiked every morning to the top of the hill (1.76 miles). Mattress needs to be replaced. Be aware: No locks on sliding glass doors upstairs.
Great space. Lots of community space for family hang-out time. Close to all the activities we did-kayaking, beach walks, hikes. Property manger super responsive to a question we had.
