This property was better than advertised, and I was sad to leave. It was like staying at a beloved grandparent's property, wth beautiful antique furniture and lovely glassware, but with great amenities. The bathrooms were well appointed, and the beds were comfy. The outdoor area was beautiful and peaceful as well. We didn't utilize the kitchen since we were in the area for a family wedding, but it appeared to be well furnished with everything you could possibly want or need to cook with.
The property was a charming cottage with porch out front for some nice hill views, or patio out back where you could watch the horses play as well. The coffee setup each morning was adorable and perfect prior to setting off for the days adventure. The heated floor on the cool mornings welcoming. The large sectional with big windows for viewing all the hummingbirds darting with the large magnolia tree was delightful. The location was perfect for the wine country exploring each day, could scoot back for a nap prior to the various dinners. The host was easy to communicate with as needed.
Our a cappella singing group enjoyed a relaxing & inspiring retreat where we practiced songs & learned new material. We were overwhelmed by this lovely, clean, & well-cared-for home! The property is located in a sweet spot in Oregon wine country with wineries within easy walking distance. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed & more! The back yard, views, horses, & chickens were delightful and brought lots of smiles. Communication was excellent & we hope to back in the fall! Thanks so much, Chris & Shary
Very grateful to have stayed at this home. We found everything we needed in the kitchen. wonderful atmosphere of books and art. Comfortable for movie watching. And a scenic farm. We hope to stay again for graduation
We enjoyed our time in this country home. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals for a large family. If you like peace and quiet without the distractions of being in town, and the ability to walk to a winery then you will like this home.
We stayed for 5 nights. House was everything we could hope for. Stocked with all the appliances and cookware you could possibly want or need. Great location when visiting the beautiful wine country. Would definitely stay again. Visits. from Wilber the farm cat always welcome.
This cottage far exceeded our expectations. The pictures do not do it justice. It is a 10 star. The kitchen is fully equipped and you feel so at home. The home is furnished with many beautiful antique pieces. Felt like we’d stepped back in time. The outdoor spaces are amazing with a bucolic setting. Very very comfortable accommodations!
This property is well stocked and very clean. They have done a great job on a remodel of an old house. Quiet, comfortable and cozy. Big outside area with lots of room to relax.
Clean, sunny & quiet home surrounded by Willamette valley vineyards. Very family friendly, with large outdoor play set & trampoline. Many family games, books, a crib & 4 twin beds in the upstairs bedroom. Large kitchen & ample Indoor & outdoor tables. You’ll have to walk in the road for neighborhood strolls. A beautiful place for a family gathering!!
Very cute and clean house! The grounds were well kept and comfortable! We spent most of the time outdoors enjoying the country. Perfect view of the sunset! There were picnic tables in a covered area outside and lights in the trees that made for a perfect outdoors dinner! My daughter left belongings and the hosts held them for us, they were very accommodating! I will be back!
Location was easy to get to our tastings from, and very quiet, had everything you might need from linens to blankets. We felt like we were staying in a strangers family home which was a bit uncomfortable for us with all the personal photos, large dollhouse, rocking horses and such, and the mattresses left us achy so we decided to leave early, but the place was clean and kitchen nicely equipped. The TV setup isn't ideal if you wanted to watch something, it's located across the room in the dining area so if watching movies or TV is important probably not ideal. Check out was super easy and Wilbur was cute.
These hosts think of everything. The home is very peaceful and relaxing. It is beautifully decorated inside and out. We were so grateful for all of the thoughtful details. If we stay in the area again we would definitely stay again. Loved it!
The cottage was beautiful and came with anything and everything we needed. Perfect setting for our family gathering/college graduation celebration. Highly recommend!
We just stayed one night, and it was peaceful—truly a beautiful location. I would recommend this location for families who want a space in the country; it isn't convenient for restaurants or entertainment.
The beds were uncomfortable and the linens were old.
This property was amazing and was the perfect spot for our getaway. We actually live in Newberg but wanted to get out of our house for the night and enjoy a night together as friends. The house was honestly better than the photos - it was very clean and fully stocked with pretty much everything! It had a cottage feel and had lots of little farmhouse decor but the kitchen, bedroom, and dining room spaces were very nice and perfect for guests. Also, we LOVED the backyard space. It had a trampoline, an outdoor kitchen and dining area, and lots of beautiful yard space. The yard backs up to a field with horses on one side and a wildflower field on the other - truly gorgeous! The hosts were super easy to communicate with and made the process so easy. We were pleasantly surprised by our stay and would recommend this house to other people who want a place with good space and a farmhouse feel.
We stayed only one night because we had an event to attend and then wine tasted in the area. Loved this charming little cottage and wish we had more time here. The house was cozy, clean and comfortable and the yard was beautiful. We enjoyed having coffee in the morning watching the sunrise. Great location - so close to a few of our favorite wineries. Communication with the hosts was great-they answered any questions very quickly. Can't wait to visit again!
