On the large, partially covered southwest terrace you can enjoy the sun or barbecue together. The house also includes a gazebo with a cozy hanging sofa and a nice sun terrace. The surrounding nature is particularly impressive, enjoy the forest and the water, both are within walking distance, and there are many beautiful hiking and biking trails in the nature, ending in the nature area Skamlingsbanken. Hejlsminde is located on the Little Belt and has a beautiful boat harbor from where you can see Fyn.

The trading town of Christiansfeld, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is worth a visit.
