This beautiful property is located on Lake Huron with a 100' sandy beach just 3.5 miles south of Mackinaw City. Over 3000 sq ft with a spectacular great room looking across the straits at Mackinaw Island equipped a 16' Playcraft Shuffleboard table, 8' Olhausen Pool table, air hockey, foosball, and arcade game table! Gas fireplace and a smart tv with fully stocked kitchen. Hot tub on the deck! Barrel Sauna! Enjoy bike riding (6 cruiser bikes included!) on the state maintained bike trail across the street and even take them to the island for free (bike licenses included). Like the water? A tandem kayak/ 2 single kayaks/ 2 paddleboards also included! Enjoy the nights with family and friends around the fire pit (eight camp chairs/ four Adirondack chairs and fire wood included)!

The main house has its own separate entrance from the owner's apartment with covered parking. There is complete privacy between the house and apartment (no view from the owner's apartment into back yard or beach area)

Fantastic House and View!

This is one of the best places we have ever rented! The house is wonderful both inside and out. The inside is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We wanted for nothing. The view of the lake is stunning. And those sunrises - WOW! We were fortunate to have perfect weather so we spent much time enjoying the deck and chairs by the lake. The location is fantastic - so close to all the area’s attractions. This house has so many amenities far too numerous to list here. Just look at the pictures! We were so happy to have stayed at this rental. Tom and Linda are very gracious hosts. Tom answered all my questions with lightning fast speed! Thank you Tom and Linda, we had a wonderful vacation. Don’t hesitate to book!

Perfection!

This property had it all! My friends, family and I stayed a week and could have stayed longer. The home was spacious and fully stocked. There are plenty of towels, linens, aero beds, games, kitchen conveniences, beach towels, pet necessities, etc. The game room entertained all ages for hours on end and helped bring everyone together. I was concerned that the lake would be too cold or rocky. It was not. Although I strongly recommend water shoes for the rocks, the lake was wonderful. It was clear and not too cold. It is shallow quite far out which helped the smaller kids. The hosts were attentive if we needed them but we never did. The shed is packed with yard games, water activities and bikes which we used several days. There is access to a bike trail directly across the street that takes you right into town. I would absolutely stay here again! ped

Phenomenal Home!

Our all-adult family enjoyed the incredible amenities this home offered from the hot tub and sauna to the pool table, croquet set, fire pit, and popcorn machine. Everything was pristine inside and out and the lake water was so crystal clear and shallow for swimming. The bikes were a bonus for traveling to the ferry and riding around Mackinac Island. We’ve rented so many homes and this one was the absolute best!!

Mackinaw Getaway

Took the family to Mackinaw for a week of vacation. There were 6 adults plus two children aged 6 & 2. The house was perfect...in a GREAT location, clean, quiet and very well appointed. It was a perfect home base for our Island, UP and local adventures. Tom was very easy to communicate with as well. We would most definitely stay there again.

Incredible property, beautiful views, peaceful, private and tons of things to do.

We had the best time as a family at this beautiful property! There is so much to do! We loved the amazing views and fires on the beach at night. The kids played all the indoor games and loved it! My 13 year old nephew is a pool shark now. We also enjoyed having access to the paddle boards, kayaks, and outdoor games. The location was awesome too being so close to all the things to do in town and the ferry while also having total privacy at home. I can't say enough good things about this property. It is perfect for a small family vacation! Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home and all it has to offer.

Brooks Family Getaway

We (myself a widower, my 4 adult children, my sister and my eldest son's fiancee) thoroughly enjoyed our all-too-brief (3-day, 4-night) stay here! The house, the location, the amenities all were in perfect condition when we arrived. We were even greeted upon arrival with a hand-written welcome note along with a nice bottle of wine and a box of fudge. Nice touch! Communication from the owner(s) was open and timely, and instructions for check-in/check-out along with use of recreational items and household facilities were clear and very helpful. Our only regret is that we didn't have more time to spend at this beautiful property. We'd love to return for a longer stay if the opportunity should arise. I highly recommend Tom and Linda, and this lovely vacation home!

This was the best rental we have ever been in. The fabulous home had absolutely everything and more. The hosts thought of so many small details and gave us so much information that helped make our stay perfect. The games all worked perfectly. We took the bikes to the island, we cooked in the fully stocked kitchen and relaxed in the hot tub. I loved the popcorn maker we used when we watched a movie. There were only three of us, we easily could have had more people and still be comfortable. I would definitely recommend this rental and would love to go back again.

Great Family Getaway

This is a fantastic property. Well maintained and has everything for a fun and relaxing summer vacation at the lake. Beautiful view looking straight across Lake Huron at Mackinac Island. Beachside campfire, SUPs, outdoor hot tub, and indoor game tables were awesome. We also rode bikes into Mac City and took the bikes across to Mac Island on the ferry for the day. Excellent vacation spot!

This is one of the best rentals we have ever stayed at! The owners thought of everything and provided many items that most rentals do not (garbage bags, coffee, laundry detergent, etc) and came with a fully stocked kitchen. The property is absolutely gorgeous - the view is amazing and there is so much to do. We had a group of cousins ranging from 1-15 and they all loved it! Bikes, kayaks, beach, pool table, shuffle board, air hockey - there is just so much to do! And the location is perfect - just a short drive from Mackinaw City. We will definitely be back next year!

Amazing multi-generational vacation rental

Wow. This is the nicest property in this entire part of Michigan. We stay at VRBOs around the world, and this one is top notch. The master bedroom is incredibly nice, the kitchen was very well stocked. Our kids enjoyed the pool table, foosball, popcorn maker! The beach is just steps away. Tom has provided high-end kayaks and paddleboards. No broken parts, everything is very well maintained. We swam every day and spent time in the hot tub every evening . We also biked into Mackinaw City on the bike trail that is just across the street. The house is a 7 minute drive to the Mackinaw Ferry parking lots. Oh, and did I mention you can see Mackinaw Island and the grand hotel from your private beach?? The hosts are just awesome and you and your family will have everything that you need for a great vacation. 10 out of 10.

Whitman July 4th Stay!!

We had an absolutely amazing time! This waterfront property is a must stay. The bikes, kayaks, and paddle boards were all so much fun. We enjoyed the fire pit at night! The house is spacious and we had plenty of room for food prep, and meals. We played a lot of pool and shuffleboard as well. Getting to, and from the island was super easy and the sites were gorgeous! Tom and Linda were amazing host and their home is beautiful! Highly recommended!
