The peninsula is famous for its beautiful nature, especially at the hilly Klintebakkerne, where you can have a beautiful view of the Kattegat from above. After 15 minutes walk you are at the water and enjoy the view of the bay. In Højby, 5 km from is an 18-hole golf course, near house is a fishing lake, there are galleries, artisans and the medieval Dragsholm Castle. It is said to be haunted by a white ghost. Nykøbing Sjælland is close to the house, you can do good shopping there either in the pedestrian zone or in the shopping center. The town also hosts Sommerland, an amusement park with an adventure pool. In the small harbor Rørvig, another vacation pearl there is a fish smokehouse and from here the ferry goes to Hundested, from where you can quickly reach Copenhagen.
