Nice wide-angle photos, Non-functional apartment.
This apartment was located in a nice area on the left bank of Paris in a lively neighborhood on the third floor.
Upon entering there is a security code and then a 36 inch wide wooden spiral staircase, with 42 steps that ascends to the apartment. There are minimal railings so for seniors it presents a challenge carrying luggage up and down the stairs.
The apartment is smaller than the photos indicate. The kitchen has a refrigerator (no freezer), a toaster, a dishwasher (no detergent) and a combination oven/microwave. There were no pot holders or dish towels; we used hand towels.
There was no welcome book (that one usually finds in vacation rentals) that explained how to use this appliance, nor about the neighborhood.
The upper floor bedroom had an uncomfortable 3 inch mattress, a large lamp on the floor, no night stands or unit to hold your luggage.
The second bedroom was downstairs (another 14 steps) in an open area with a comfortable bed, 2 night stands and no unit to hold luggage. The bathing area had no door, and the toilet was in a tiny room in the back corner of the lower floor where you ascend another few steps to get to it.
There is a washing machine and drying rack available for use.
Of concern was that the fire extinguisher is located outside the apartment on the stairs, and there is no other egress from the apartment should there be a fire.
