Lovely, newly-remodeled unit with excellent location

Everything was convenient from check-in to check-out. The hosts were very responsive and committed to making it a 5-star stay. The only issue I had was a very bright flood light pouring into the bedroom at night, and the hosts resolved it by installing blackout curtains the very next day! The location is tough to beat, with Findlay Market about a block away; the free streetcar that takes you all over downtown just steps from the front door; the soccer stadium a few blocks away; OTR restaurants, shops, and bars around the corner; Washington Park a block away; and (if you're up for it) only a 25-minute walk to the riverfront/the Banks. Everything you need is in the unit, from kitchen appliances to toiletries, and the unit is very clean. I would say the only downside to this particular unit is that, although the units are remodeled, the building is older and the floors are very thin- you can hear footsteps upstairs very clearly. That being said, the hosts seem to be strict about removing shoes and prohibiting parties, so the noise was much less than it could have been. I stayed here for 1.5 months and I really enjoyed my stay.

After 20 years of teaching in DC, Chile, and Mexico, I'm working with my brothers and loving it! Dennis and I design and co-host about ten rental spaces for short and long term rentals in OTR, Cincinnati - in the neighborhood where we live. And with my twin brother Mateo in Mexico, I co-coordinate and teach (remotely) at the community school we founded. We specialize in language learning with excellent teachers of Spanish for foreigners, English, French, German, and more. I meditate (Vipassana), and enjoy hiking, cooking for our elderly mother, and supporting local organizations and causes.
