Beautiful vacation home with private pool in a wonderful panoramic position on the sea, just 150m from the beach. The vacation home is surrounded by 400m² of outdoor space within the residential park Costa dei Monaci, about 4 km from Parghelia, which is one of the most beautiful stretches of coastline in Calabria. The house offers two beautiful equipped terraces for outdoor dining as well as garden furniture, sunbeds and barbecue. This stretch of coast is very popular with water sports enthusiasts and divers, and the whole region stands out for its variety of attractions. Some excursion tips: the popular tourist town of Tropea (known also for the cultivation of the delicious red onions) is only about 7 km away; Vibo Valentia with boat connection for day trips to the Aeolian Islands is about 30 km away; the characteristic village of Pizzo Calabro with its historic center 30 km. The presence of the sandy beaches of the place depends on the tides at some times of the year.

Please note that: Bed linen and towels are not included in the room rate in 2024; guests can rent them at the property for an additional charge of EUR 10.00 per person, or bring their own. Haus hat die besten Zeiten hinter sich

Vorab: Der Urlaub war insgesamt schön, deshalb 4 Sterne. Insbesondere der Pool und der Blick aufs Meer waren traumhaft schön. Der Garten und der Pool wurden mehrmals die Woche gepflegt. Allerdings gab es auch Dinge, die man bei dem Preis einfach erwarten können müsste. Die gesamte Kücheneinrichtung müsste mal ersetzt werden (dreckige, teilweise kaputte Schüsseln, Bretter, Besteck), die Spülmaschine verdient den Namen nicht, denn das Geschirr kommt unwesentlich sauberer heraus und unter der Spüle riecht es so unfassbar stark nach Schimmel, dass wir diese Schränke nicht mehr aufgemacht haben. Die Stühle auf der Veranda sind teilweise angeknackst, müssten auch ersetzt werden. Insgesamt hatten wir den Eindruck, dass das Haus etwas "abgewohnt" war (Couch, Stühle) und der Besitzer wohl lange nicht mehr dort war - andernfalls hätte er notwendige Anschaffungen getätigt. Der Fernseher ging nicht (außer 4 Programme), weil die einzusteckende Karte nicht gültig war. Unterhalb des Hauses sieht man Bauruinen, vom nahegelegenen Touristendorf schallt es quasi ganztägig von 10 Uhr bis ca. 23 Uhr teilweise wirklich lautstark hinauf. Die Musik hat uns persönlich nicht gestört, weil sie unserem Geschmack entsprach, aber ich könnte mir vorstellen, dass es den ein oder anderen Bewohner sehr stört. Leider gibt es weit und breit keine fußläufige Einkaufsmöglichkeit, so dass man für Brötchen mindestens nach Parghelia fahren muss (Dauer des Brötchenholens: insgesamt 20 Minuten). Fazit: Lage traumhaft, Pool super, Haus müsste überarbeitet werden.
