THE CITY OF CRYSTAL RIVER’S MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL HAVE RECENTLY MADE THE DECISION TO KEEP VACATIONING FAMILIES OUT OF CRYSTAL RIVER BY ENFORCING A 90 DAY MINIMUM STAY IN THE CITY LIMITS OF CRYSTAL RIVER. THIS PROPERTY IS A 90 DAY MINIMUM HOWEVER THE GOOD NEWS IS WE ARE GRANDFATHERED IN AND CURRENTLY HAVE OTHER WATERFRONT PROPERTIES IN THE CITY LIMITS AVAILABLE FOR VACATIONING FAMILIES. Enjoy our clean and affordable two bedroom/one Duplex right on the canal very close to King's Bay and Crystal River.
You have your own floating dock for fishing, bring your boat or use the dock/walkway to launch your paddleboard or our two kayaks which are included. We offer a large back yard with screened in Gazebo and back yard patio for fishing, kayaking or enjoying the sun. Two Kayaks are included with each rental unit!! Your dock is 100 yards from Kings Bay and close to shopping and area restaurants. Kayak the premiere spot for manatee watching or Snorkeling!
Our fully equipped kitchen has everything you need for cooking -
refrigerator, coffee maker, blender, full sized stove and
oven, and microwave plus all new utensils, cookware and dishes.
The bedroom features a great Queen sized bed with high quality
linens. The view from your bed overlooks the back yard and canal
where you may be greeted by a morning manatee or dolphin swimming
by.
The quiet neighborhood is safe and secure. There is a restaurant, dive shop, national park, and an outdoor sunset bar all within a five minute walk!!!
A big grocery store is a few minutes away. Downtown Crystal River close where you can enjoy shopping, searching for antiques or strolling the sidewalks. You will love the location, having so many restaurants, banks and shopping so close and having nature even closer!!

Great experience

Such a great little property on the water! Very cute, perfect for the two of us. Convenient patio, very nice grill, gazebo on the water with fan, nice dock….convenient location to EVERYTHING we wanted to do! Kayaks were a lot of fun, we used them almost every day. Kayaks are in okay condition. Had one issue and owner sent maintenance the very next morning, and they fixed it immediately. Really hope owner continues to rent this property out, we will 100% return.

Great location for everything outdoors!

The location of the property is fantastic. We could put our kayaks in and easily paddle to Three Sisters and Hunter's Springs. We brought our own kayaks, but the kayaks available at the house looked to be in good condition. The property is also within a 10 minute drive to state parks, hiking trails, Publix, and many great restaurants--Crab Plant, Charlies, and Dan's Clam Shack at the top of our list. The house is neat and very clean. The bed was comfortable, and the bathrooms were spotless. The neighborhood was also great. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. My husband ran in the mornings and said the sidewalks and paths were clean and well maintained out to and along 19. This was a great trip, and we look forward to many more.

Anniversary vacation

Nice quiet place. Very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our day trip of the use of the kayaks. sitting on the dock in the evening watching baby gator was a plus. Overall an enjoyable memorable vacation.

This property was such a great location to access so much in town by bike, and many times we left on kayas as well. Kitchen was very well stocked with enough pans and dishes, and having laundry available was very much appreciated!!

On the water

Nice condo in convenient location. I stayed here for 2 weeks in March 2022. The condo was clean but the gazebo outside was dirty & the seat cushions are old & need replacement. I spoke with manager about this & they plan on replacing the o/s furniture & cushions. The house decor is 70’s, which is fine with me because I’m not there to stay inside. I loved having the kayaks, we kayaked almost every day. Contact with the manager is easy & he’s very responsive. I would stay here again.

Best vacation ever

This property was perfect. It was clean and close to everything. It was quiet and peaceful to sit outside. The kayaks are an added bonus which we took out and found manatees. I will definitely stay here again.

Darling Comfortable Villa!

This little villa is darling. It is spotless and has everything needed. The weather was too bad to be able to use the kayaks. The street was very quiet and we rested well. The two big beds were very comfortable. Communication with the manager was prompt and friendly. We had an very positive experience here. Highly recommend this villa for a small family whom wants an affordable and comfortable place to stay.

Quiet getaway

House was clean and very quiet. Right on a canal. It had everything we needed for a quiet get away. Close to downtown and several great restaurants and shops. Great location. Would definitely recommend.

Sad and Drab

Pete, the property manager was very responsive, helpful and accommodating. Thanks to his recommendation we had a wonderful day watching the manatees and a dozen other animals with my mother-in-law in a beautiful park. I feel the mgmt company should go back to the property owners and convince them to renovate this property. It is worn down and drab. There is an overall air of neglect throughout the property both on the inside and the outside. The appliances, silverware and dishwear are greasy, old and need a thorough cleaning. The kitchen was not well equipped. The plastic lining in the cabinets was degraded, folded over and sticky. The contents of the cabinets looked like they'd survived an earthquake. There was dog hair all over the sofa covering and the front curtains didn't sufficiently cover the windows which faced the street and looked like they'd never been washed (the curtains). The outside of the house is worse than the inside. The gazebo and the shed look like they're falling apart. The outdoor furniture was moldy and dirty. The windows are filthy. The canal looks like a great place to throw in your garbage. All in all, an uninviting property in a nice neighborhood with poor value for the money.

Great location for water activities.

Small house, but they had everything we needed. I didn't know this was a duplex, but had no problems with the other guests we shared the backyard with. We fished off the dock(caught catfish and blue crab) and were able to easily drop in our kayaks and head to the springs. We have been coming to Crystal River for 15 years, and this location is perfect spot if you want to be close to the action. Thank you to the hosts!

Excellent location, very clean

This property is in an excellent location, very close to restaurants and activities. We did get a little warm on the last evening as the AC was already locked since it was mid November and the to temp was 80 deg the morning were left. But not an issue really. Wonderful place to stay and we enjoyed using the kayaks. We took our two small dogs with us and crated them whenever we left. The area was also very pet friendly. Pet friendly restaurants and of course we took them kayaking with us as well. Would definitely stay here again if we come back. The host was very nice and easy to communicate with.

So so

Out of the 4 kayaks there 3 held water making it super hard to move in them there wasn't dish soap there were someone's underwear beside the dresser the silverware draw was sticky and stuck shut it took me a few days to realize that it was just stuck and not. Fake drawer one TV made it hard for us and the kids to both find something to watch and Netflix was the only thing I could get to work trash cans were pretty full from who ever was there before bur I left them at the road to be emptied and having to change the temp every day was a pain because if we forgot it would be so hate by time we got back but seeing how our other place canceled on us last minute I am Thankful this place was available Ps the door seals are old and didn't stop ants and other bugs from. Getting In the bath mate slips and we almost fell so many times we just took it out and the turn on for the tub was unmarked as far as hot and cold and if you turned the knob to far either way it turns off and the water pressure was low

Great location, good layout, the house was clean but the cleaning company could have done a better job since there was some spots on the bathroom that they missed. I highly recommend if you have a boat since its deep access to the river, springs and scallops grounds.

Anniversary trip

took my wife away for 35th anniversary, she wanted to see manatees. There were 5 there on our 1st day. We were excited. House was just what we needed, felt like home. Right on the canal, had kayaks we could use too. we were close to everything yet by ourselves too. Thanks Pete for a wonderful weekend.

Our family lives just outside of Orlando which is approximately 1.5 hours from Crystal River. We are all Florida natives; Pete grew up in Inverness which is the town next to our vacation condos and why we chose Crystal River. We like the laid back sleepy little town feel and fell in love with the areas springs, specifically Three Sisters. What started as a weekend get a way has turned into a wonderful place we are happy to share.

Why they chose this property

We chose Crystal River because I grew up close to the springs and remember swimming in them as a kid. I enjoyed frequent field trips and summer camps to see the manatees and swim in the springs. My first scuba trip was in King Springs, around the corner from our place. We hope you enjoy the area as much as we have....

What makes this property unique

Crystal River is a quiet little town with plenty to offer. The springs are beautiful and less than a 2 minute paddle from our dock. On any given morning you can see manatees and dolphin swim by our dock, boat or paddle to waterfront restaurants and enjoy the nature preserve in Kings Bay. A 7 mile scenic boat ride takes you to the Gulf of Mexico where there is fantastic fishing, nature viewing and in the summer, scallop harvesting. You will enjoy near by Homosassa Wildlife Park and Indian burial grounds which leave a lot to explore. Golf courses, bike/hiking trails close will allow for an active vacation if desired
