About this property

The Blue Spruce Ranch Cascade and Teanaway Valley Views and Sunsets

This very private acreage in the Teanaway Valley has been family owned for years. On a ridge you see the best territorial views over the Teannaway River Valley . Serene, Peaceful and Expansive, it generates dreams, and grateful reflection. The back “40” is a pine tree clad forest.

The ranch house is all one level with a master bedroom with bathroom ( shower) and two additional bedrooms opposite side of house. The primary bedroom has an extra single bed, so bed total is 4. Hidden Valley and discover magic of birds soaring overhead.

Living the beautiful life in Central Washington which has many more sun filled days than the West side. Drive or bike up the Teanaway River road and explore the creeks, rivers ,and lakes. Maybe see a herd of deer , bear, or elk wander thru the meadow or farm land. .

The old coal mining town of CleElum is only 5 miles southwest with everything you need, including Owens Meat, the old bakery, and Mike’s Tavern with outdoor live music on a summer night.

Hiking, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, mountain biking , wineries, it is a destination for year round outdoor recreation. Check out the nearly “Ghost “ town of Liberty ( Gold mining ) or Roslyn ( Brick Saloon since 1889).

Great for groups and lovers of wide open spaces

Our group (three couples, one infant, and one dog) stayed at Blue Spruce Ranch for the long July 4th holiday weekend. The house is lovely, spacious and clean, the property is huge and perfectly cared for, and the view is absolutely jaw-dropping. The layout of the house was great for our needs. The master suite is located on one side of the house near the kitchen/dining, with the other two bedrooms situated in the opposite "wing" of the house, which was perfect for our friends with a baby as they could take the room furthest away from the main living space which tends to be a bit noisier. Everything was very clean upon arrival. The owner was very communicative both prior to our arrival and during, as we had a few questions during our stay. A couple things I think would be helpful to know ahead of time: - The tap water is all well water, and has a very strong sulfur smell. It is perfectly safe, but the smell/taste may not be for everyone, so you may want to pick up a few jugs of spring water for drinking. - There is no trash collection service, so the checkout instructions asked us to take our trash with us and find a dumpster in town to dispose of it. We weren't made aware of this until after check in, which presented some logistical challenges; I would suggest this info be added into the rental listing so visitors can be prepared. Overall it was a beautiful, relaxing weekend and I hope we are able to return some day!

Quiet, scenic location

Stayed at Thanksgiving. Spacious enough for two families. Modern house, big kitchen, nice views. TV room separate from dining/living room. Property is several acres with privacy for those looking for peace and quiet.

Retirement Celebration!

Thanks to David and his wonderful house property for making my retirement weekend perfect. His lovely house in the Teanaway was the ideal location for my women friends to spend a weekend hiking and eating great food. The space is perfect for a group gathering and the views are lovely looking down the valley and in to the Stuart range.

Views, views, views!!!

My fiancé and I came for a weekend with two other couples, an infant and a toddler. We had such an amazing time and cannot recommend it more! First off, the location is awesome. A shirt drive to Cle Elum which has a great brewery Dru Bru and some delicious places to eat. It’s not too far from Suncadia for wine tasting or concerts. We explored one of the many trails around the area, went for a bike ride, came back and hot tubbed which was so relaxing at sunset! The kitchen had everything we needed to make dinner. We also used the fire pit (seasonal with wildfires). The beds were super comfortable. One of our friends was 37 weeks pregnant at the time and said it was the best sleep she had in a while! Host was very friendly and communicative . And the best part was the amazing views! Oh and the neighbors horses came out to play! Definitely stay here!

Incredible Views

My family and I stayed at this Gorgeous home located outside of Cle Elum, in the Teanaway valley and it was so perfect. The views from the deck and out the front window are stunning. The land surrounding the house is beautiful, we saw so many dear and horses in the pasture that we really were surrounded in nature. We loved the hot tub outside too which is apparently cleaned after every stay, nice and ultra clean. The inside was set up just like home, we had everything we needed to cook, the beds and pillows were super cozy, the TV and family room with the fireplace unit was warm. We could live here full time we all loved it so much. I will definitely stay here again for a longer duration since its close to rivers, for fishing and great roads to take a bike ride. Thanks Dave for being such a great communicator. Patti and family.

AWESOME Getaway Home

I really couldn't find any negative. Home was pleasingly better than described. Sometimes you get the imagine but when you arrive there is a little let down. Not here, A-OK!! Clean and well appointed. Appliances in good condition. The place doesn't show any wear and tear even in the Nice baths. A 160 degree view of a peaceful attractive valley. Easy to get there. Quiet and peaceful with the deer roaming the property. New Hot tub was a plus! Walk out to deck to enjoy the sunset with a libation and ease over to the Spa. Just what we needed. Host was attentive, let us checkout a little later, a plus for us to enjoy more of the peacefulness. Will be back again, Soon!
