Nice Break

This was a good break. Short walk to the beach, nearby places for teens to walk, private pool. Enjoyed the stay.

Perfect stay at the shore!

4 Shore was a great place for our family of 6 to stay. I loved the beach decor and the quick walk to the beach! The beds were comfortable, kitchen was stocked with everything you would need for cooking in. The gas grill was a great perk. My kids loved the pool after a day at the beach! We would highly recommend staying at 4 Shore! I would stay here again in a second!

Incredible beach home!

My family and I enjoyed our 5 nights in Gulf Shores so much. Great location, nice pool (wish it was slightly warmer, but I understand that that's weather contingent)Comfortable beds, perfect amount of space, nice kitchen, ample TVs and fans. We did find some clothing, a half-eaten cookie and some other trash upon check-in, hence the 4 stars. It would have been nice to have beach towels, more dishwashing liquid, and pool / beach toys. We've stayed in many properties and these have been staples.

Furniture is ready for garage sale - kitchen cupboards laminate is peeling away - poor water pressure - unheated pool, not listed as heated or unheated, charge more if renter wants pool heated, pool guy can turn it off or on - think we could have done better finding a place for tha amount of money we spent - need updates

Fun Beach House

This is a great beach house. Great location with easy beach access. The only down side would have to be that the kitchen has nothing to work with except the cookware. No salt, no pepper, no oil, nothing. So if we wanted to cook you literally had to buy everything. And no foil or baggies or anything. It made me sick to buy all these items and then have to throw them all away when we left. A few basic pantry items would have been welcomed. Other than that the house was very enjoyable!

Perfect Little Beach House

It was great, especially with the pool. It was just me, my daughter and her 11 year old friend. Close walk to the beach, in the more quieter area of Gulf Shores west. We loved it! Would definitely stay again!

Charming little house

Over all this property was great. It is a super short walk to get to the beach access. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. All the appliances worked great. It is an older home but well cared for and about as clean as it could be. The pool was great when it was hot, it would be nice if it had a heater but it wasn't a huge deal. The front porch is nice but there is a good amount of road noise. Overall, we greatly enjoyed our stay.

loved the house

The house itself was perfect! Plenty of room inside, great outdoor areas with plenty of seating, pool was amazing. The only issue was the internet , the service was not great . The tv's in the bedrooms were almost unusable and would buffer the entire time. The master bedroom with attached bath tv had no remote to use at all. There were dishes that were put up into the cabinet that were dirty so we had to load most of the dishes into the dishwasher before they could be used. The small bathroom sink does not drain well, could be a simple clog however. The small bathroom shower is not great, there is little pressure in that shower. We would definitely stay here again despite the minor issues we had. The house is great and fit all of our needs, the pool was very nice and clean, it is very close to the beach and had everything we needed.

Family vacation

The house is great and has everything anyone needs. There was a gas and propane grill option as well as coffee maker and Keurig. There was plenty of seating for our party of 9. It was clean and everything worked. We had fun playing games/puzzles at the huge table, hanging out on the porch and held our annual cornhole tournament under the house. If we had to complain, it would be that the pool lights did not work which made it unsafe to swim at night. We did call maintenance who came out and said that the owners needed to replace them. Other than that, we had a great time and enjoyed close beach access. We would definitely stay at this house again. Southern Vacation Rentals who manages the house was also easy to deal with, friendly and communicative.

DO NOT STAY HERE

DO NOT STAY AT THIS PROPERTY!!!! We had a horrible experience with the property staff and the amenities. We just stayed there from 6/18/22 - 6/25/22. I had to call the property staff 5 times for the following issues while I was there and no one would ever call me back. They also would not provide us any compensation when they could not resolve the issues. -The the water in the pool is "HOT" water and when the temperature is 100 degrees outside, it is miserable to be in the pool. We could not stay in the pool very long b/c it was so hot. There were times when it actually felt better to not be in the pool. I called the property manager and they said there was nothing they could do and would not provide us a discount because of the issue. They said the pool did not have a heater in it and that because it was hot outside that the pool was going to be hot. That is not true, I have stayed in Gulf Shores over the last 15 summers when it is always hot and the pool water is always cold. This pool has an issue. -The water pressure in the Master bathroom sinks and shower is poor, the water just trickles out. They have a nicely decorated shower that you can't even use because the water barley comes out of the shower head. -There are 4 smart TVs in the house and none of them have any cable or signed into any of the apps. If your kids want to watch TV you better bring your own cable. The property manager came to fix this but could not get it working. Every time I had to call, I was told that they would call the property own and get back with me. No one every called me back. I had to call every day that I was there. This property is too expensive for the amenities to not be working. This was a horrible experience and I don't want anyone to else to fall into this trap. DON'T RENT THIS PROPERTY.

June trip

Excellent location considering you are across the street from beach. House is a little older and remodel quality left a little to be desired. Refrigerator and freezer been cleared out with something so they smelled and ice tasted like cleaning product. Everything else was pretty good.
