Inside, this adorable cottage is completely updated with 1 bedroom, 1 bath, a spacious eat-in kitchen & living room. The livingroom has a comfy couch with chaise and a 49" high def TV. The bedroom is spacious with a comfy queen sized bed. The covered wrap around front porch has an outside dining set to relax with a drink after a day of sightseeing and 2 comfy chairs to lounge with coffee or a glass of wine.
Asheville Retreat Cottages...super nice cottages located smack in the middle of everything you want to do in Asheville!!!! This little community is perfect for individuals seeking a quiet, relaxing time away from their normal busy lives.
This property is conveniently located just minutes from Biltmore Park and only 15 minutes from downtown Asheville in the Avery Creek/Arden community. Biltmore Park has lots of restaurants, shops, entertainment, a great movie theater, spa and more. The Blue Ridge Parkway is only 3 miles away and a great place for hikes and sightseeing. The NC Arboretum is only 3 miles away and is great for hiking, biking and exploring the beautiful gardens. Zen Tubing is just 2 miles down the road at the French Broad River. This is absolutely a must do activity for all ages. The new Outlet Mall is only 5 miles away and has shopping for everyone! The Biltmore House is just 15 minutes away and another must do in Asheville. Plan at least 5 hours though because you will want to explore everything on the estate...just beautiful!
Whether you are coming to Asheville to hike, bike, fish, tub, sightsee, shop, explore or relax, this location is close to everything!
Truly a home away from home, this rock cottage is in a very small community with only 5 units, this one being 1/2 of a duplex but parking, entry and outside space is completely separate and private from the adjoining unit. You will find all the conveniences needed for a few nights or a few weeks.

Relax in Arden
A clean and inviting cottage with a great wraparound porch. While this is a double, we never heard a peep from our neighbors. Lots of amenities proved by the host.

Awesome Place!
Its a decent distance away from Asheville. My boyfriend and I had an amazing time there, It was very clean and looked exactly like the pictures. We couldn't find it at first but we called the owner and he was very helpful and responsive! Great place to stay!

Such a Relaxing Stay
We were visiting Asheville for the first time and this was a great place for us to stay. We were close to food and shopping and things to do. We did a lot of hiking on our first day of the trip and it was rainy the second day. We were worn out and decided to take the day easy. It was so nice to have such a clean and cozy place to rest. We enjoyed drinking coffee on the porch. The pictures are very accurate. We would be happy stay here again.

Issue Resolution
Vrbo accidentally booked 2 parties to stay at the location at the same time. Michael (host) was able to accommodate us to a hotel immediately and refunded our stay. He would call to check in and make sure our stay in Asheville was going well and if we needed anything. His prompt response and quick action allowed us to have a fantastic stay in Asheville, despite the technical issues we were dealt.

Other than the hiccup of not having the needed info to get in the house when we arrived and poor Verizon reception in the area forcing us to drive a couple of miles away we enjoyed our stay. We really appreciated the owner/manager calling us right back after we called. Lots of nice touches to make it feel welcoming. Suggest porch steps on east end of next to driveway and if fluorescent lights are used in kitchen they should either have covers or install T8 LED lamps that have plastic tubes) to eliminate the hazard of glass, mercury, and phospher if existing lamps are broken. Didn't get a chance to write this on the maintenance notebook provided due to extremely early departure time but appreciate having it. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Felipe

Nice cabin near everything
I'm an Arden native back for a visit. We loved this cute duplex cabin. It was quiet, yet near everything we wanted to visit (Flat Rock, hiking, and downtown events). The snacks and coffee provided were a nice touch. Extremely clean.

Cozy cottage vacation
This property is well-maintained and spotlessly clean. The kitchen has all the necessities, the beds are comfortable and the couches same. TV is fantastic with ROKU. The cottage is very quiet! The owner is great about giving guests easy check-in instructions and about being available for any questions. The price of our stay was very reasonable, too. This was our second stay at these cottages and we will be back. Arden, NC is the best launching pad for so many mountain activities including kayaking, white water rafting, tubing, horseback riding, mountain biking, Great Smoky Mountains National Park, The Great Smoky Mountain Railroad, Asheville, Biltmore, etc. as well as all the great festivals and events in western North Carolina.

Anniversary get away
Got away for our 20th anniversary. It was a great place to get away! Great location! Clean and tidy. Checkin/checkout was simple and everything was perfect. Couldn’t have asked for anything more! I would highly recommend. Probably bringing the whole family next time.
