About this property
Bright Marshfront Cottage from Charleston Magazine
High-end completely renovated, marshfront cottage with large, private backyard, sunfilled deck, and shady patio in downtown Charleston - in the center of it all and 15 mins from the beach! Bright & beautiful with Thermador appliances, fireplace, and three bedrooms which includes an office set-up. Located in desirable Wagener Terrace neighborhood, you’ll enjoy space and privacy while also being close to Charleston’s best restaurants, King Street, Hampton Park, and sunset view on the Ashley River.
The space
This nearly 2000 sq. ft cottage features an expansive, gorgeous kitchen which is open to the living and dining areas. There are two bedrooms downstairs - one that includes an office set-up - with hallway access to a full-bathroom (tub and shower). Upstairs is dormered and partially lofted with another bedroom, nook, full bath (tub and shower), and a bonus den with a fold out sofa. The home gets great natural light and is filled with colorful, happy art.
In addition to the bright and beautiful interior, you can enjoy outdoor dining and lounging, two hammocks by the marsh, a cast iron fire pit, Weber grill, and access to a golf cart! The property’s long driveway accommodates two+ cars and parking is also available on the street.
