About this property

Our "Tidal Treasure" estate is situated on a beautiful 14 acre property with an abundance of local wildlife, visible at most times. Located on the edge of the historic St. Croix River which boasts some of the worlds highest tides (20-30ft every 6 hrs) and acts as an international boundary and time zone between Canada (AST) and the USA (EST). This unique property is specifically design to welcome and pamper guest from around the world in an effort to showcase the Charlotte County area.

Family memories

I took all my family here to make some memories together. The house was amazing. When arriving we met the manager and he showed us around to all the bedrooms and different parts of yhe house. All the rooms were spacious and absolutely spotless. Pool with hot tub and games room amazing. We enjoyed many hours in the pool during our stay. The scenery was unbelievable, everyone went on walking trips around the property. Watching the tide going in and coming out everday was mind boggling. Seeing deer walking the property and the soaring bald eagles...these were anazing experiences. This is truly a wonderful place for a holiday, the staff were available and helpful and pleasant. My whole family had a wonderful time and experience here.

More "B&B" and less VRBO

If someone is looking for a vacation home rental including a kitchen where they can do their own cooking - this is NOT the place for you. This property is SHARED with the owner and separation involves curtains only in some areas. There is a dog and cat on site, for those with allergies. The owners sometimes have people over in the evening and there can be a lot of noise from their side of the home, even late into the evenings. Sometimes their personal guests just wandered into our side of the home unannounced. There were also construction workers on site who would show up in an area (coming through a tunnel or door in the basement) without any warning. Also flies were a major issue indoors during our stay. Tom (owner) seems like a nice person, easy to chat with and flexible to requests. However, he also made offers ahead of our visit (gluten free breakfast available, waffles and/or pancakes in the morning) which were rescinded close to or on arrival. Moreover, he did not let on that the home was shared space or that a full kitchen would not be available to us during our stay. If someone is looking for a "Bed & Breakfast" that has a beautiful view, clean guest rooms, and some on site entertainment (pool table, table tennis, indoor pool), with a basic breakfast, I would recommend this place.

Family reunion getaway

We chose this entire house to rent to accommodate our family and we were not disappointed. The house is amazing and the hosts were great and very accommodating. Highly recommend.
