Magnificent nature on the fjord and the fascinating bird sanctuary of Tipperne are located nearby. The beaches in this region are not as wide as in the west coast, but are ideal for families with children, as water is shallow with very few waves on the coast. Activities for every taste are available here. For instance, windsurfing, fishing, flying kites, sailing and other forms of water sports are available here. To see wild animals and to experience a cosy day, you can visit Givskud Lion Park, the sea lion aquarium in Esbjerg and Lego Land with wonderful experiences.
