About this property

Lake Lovers & Fishermen's Dream!

Enjoy a stay in our one-story, open floor plan, ranch-style lake house that has 3 bedrooms with 6 beds (1 King, 1 Queen, 2 Bunk Beds with Twin on top and Full on bottom) and 2 full bathrooms. This is a Guest House on our property. A large farmhouse table allows everyone to eat together. Two separate seating areas - one near the 65" Smart TV with Google TV or Pluto TV channels or and another by the fireplace. New, comfortable furniture. Den has 3 glass doors that have no occluded view of the tranquil lake and woods across the cove. The back porch is perfect for watching amazing sunrises. Game room with 75" SMART TV with HDMI cord for video game consoles (not provided), shuffleboard table and commercial grade refrigerator to keep snacks and drinks cool. Laundry room has new washer and dryer. We are happy to provide a starter supply of toilet tissue, paper towels and detergent.
Outside area has plenty of parking in the front for at least 6 cars and 4 boat trailers in the front yard. The private driveway is 500 feet long. Peaceful surroundings, perfect for fishing, swimming, kayaking or just feeding the ducks. Large back yard with lake access, private floating dock, beach area, Outdoor Pavilion with fireplace, seating area and table and swing set to help entertain the kids out of the water.
Two minutes to Jake's Landing to launch your boat, 5 minutes to downtown Lexington grocery stores, movies and shopping. 20 minutes to downtown Columbia/USC.

Great location and great view

We really enjoyed this home. It’s a beautiful location with beautiful views of lake Murray. The location is very close to the town of Lexington but it’s also secluded from the surrounding area. Overall it was a great place to stay.

Cousin lake weekend

Wonderful host and home

This host was so kind. Very informative. She made sure to give us all information and took care of my husband and friends the entire time they were there. She even mailed me things that were left behind. I couldn’t ask for a better stay. We will def be back.

Perfect lake rental

There is plenty of room to hang out, eat, and play, with a beautiful view of the lake. We stayed in the fall and the colors were gorgeous.

Perfect!

We had 6 adults stay for a cousins girls getaway. We couldn't stop saying everything was "So cute!!" As we walked through the house. The memo board was an amazing and thoughtful touch for our weekend getaway/ hurricane party as the weather called for a tropical depression. That did not stop us from having an amazing time. The layout of the home is perfect for a large crowd to have plenty of space to relax. The owners really have thought of everything for your entertainment and cooking needs. The long driveway gave us plenty of space for parking. All of the beds were very comfortable. I slept on one of the bottom bunk beds and was very pleased with the mattress. I have lower back issues and I slept very well! We want to come back when the weather is warmer to get in the water. The cove was very calm and it is so tranquil to sit outside. I could go on an on about how much we loved this home. If you are fortunate to have open dates for this home you need to book it!!

Perfect staycation for us

This property was everything and more! We had an amazing time. It’s conveniently located to grocery stores and restaurants. We really enjoyed the fire pit, dock, and beach. There are plenty of sitting areas so different members of our group had plenty of space to lounge on one of our rainy days in. We will definitely be staying again!

Cousin Lake Weekend

We had a wonderful family lake weekend. The house was adorable and the amenities were perfect. We loved all the customized lake Murray art throughout the house. The shuffleboard table was a huge hit. The access to the lake could not have been easier and the dock was perfect for parking a boat and two jet ski's. We honestly loved everything about our stay. Only wish we had reserved a longer stay!

Wedding Weekend

Our daughter got married at a venue outside of Lexington in Gilbert. This house was the absolute best location and had ALL we needed and then some. We enjoyed dinner under the covered porch near the water...drank our morning coffee. We had left over reception food and the commercial refrigerator in the garage was absolutely perfect for storing it overnight, then we divided it up for take home. Kellie was absolutely phenomenal to communicate with--accomidated all our needs.

So relaxing!

This property is just so nice. The hosts thought of everything. Nicely decorated and very comfortable. Loved the multiple indoor and outdoor living spaces. We rented as an alternative to staying in Columbia for graduation weekend. Easy to head into the city and a great way to celebrate and relax. Would be a great spot for gameday weekends. We stayed for four nights. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Wonderful Experience - Masters Trip

Just had a great 4 day trip with friends to go to the Masters and stayed at Kellie’s beautiful home! The entire house was immaculate with a great view overlooking the water. Kellie was always available if we had any questions and more than willing to help though we didn’t need much because everything was so easy! Check in and check out was a breeze. The home is located in close proximity to a few golf courses we played, about an hour to Augusta and 1.5 hours to Charlotte Airport. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone going on a trip like our on even a family vacation!

Work-family retreat

Exceeded our expectations

The perfect property if your staying on the lake. This recently rehabbed rancher property has everything you need for a great stay. Spacious and clean open concept with great views of the cove, a phenomenal covered outdoor space with plenty of seating, outdoor fireplace, built in Bluetooth speakers, new dock, grill and kayaks. Plenty of parking and additional entertainment space in the garage with seating, TV, shuffleboard and a huge refrigerator. Only a 10 minute drive to the Columbia Sailing Club and all the shopping you need if you forget anything. Cooked dinner for some of my son’s friends from the USC sailing team and the kitchen had everything we needed for dinner. Definitely recommend this property and will be renting again next year!!!!!!

BREATHTAKING HOME AND LAKE VIEWS

This house/property are both GORGEOUS, clean, well-stocked (even for outdoor activities), beautifully decorated, 5-minute drive to retail spots, quiet, residential neighborhood - pictures are totally accurate. Owner was SUPER nice and responsive. Hosted a luncheon one day for friends/family and the well-designed conversation areas (inside and out) were accommodating and comfortable -- HIGHLY recommend - will definitely stay again!!!

Best VRBO rental we have ever booked!

This beautiful house is nestled next to the most perfect little lake. We spent a few days with family here and it was exactly what we needed. The house has everything you need and the yard is perfectly set up for the kiddos to run, play in the sand and even kayak! And the fire pit was such a nice way to end the day! The neighborhood is gorgeous and the owner Kellie lives next door and she was so easy to work with! We all agreed that we would absolutely stay at Kellie’s guest house again!

Beautiful & relaxing

We stayed at Kellies place this past weekend. It was parents weekend at usc and we wanted to avoid all the chaos in the city. I'm so glad we did! This house was perfect for our family. The hosts were so nice and communicated well with everthing we needed. The house is super clean and just lovely with all the little accents they have throughout. My husband and son fished in the lake and took out the kayaks to do so. Thank you for having us and I hope to see you again over the next few years when we visit our son.

Wonderfully relaxing!

A group of 5 adult cousins gathered for a family girls weekend and it was great. House is probably better than the pictures show and the owners are right next door if there are questions. All communication was prompt and everything we needed was there—-we didn’t leave! However, anything we might have wanted to do was very close by. Quiet house on a quiet cove. Comfortable beds. Several different conversation areas. Nice long, paved driveway for a morning or evening walk. Plenty of wildlife to watch too. They will soon have the new dock installed but that was not an issue for us at all. We did have a sweet friend offer to take us out on his boat Saturday evening and we went to see the last of the HUGE purple Martin flock that roosts at bomb island and a beautiful sunset. We would definitely stay here again.

This location feels like you are out in the country with the quiet secluded lots in the back of a cove near the Lake Murray Dam, but we are only five minutes from downtown Lexington with all the dining, shopping and activities city life has to offer.
