Our Black Bear Lodge is back! This brand new 4 bed 3 bath cabin stands where the previous Our Black Bear Lodge stood before it burned to the ground in 2016. We are delighted and humbled to be bringing back Our Black Bear Lodge in a totally new and different way.
The Space
This luxury cabin offers a modern rustic feel to guests and features amenities such as a hot tub, movie theater, retro arcade game and more! Located in Chalet Village, guests will also have access to the seasonal community amenities such as the pool, the tennis courts and more. Everything in this property was designed with you in mind!
The View
Our Black Bear Lodge offers a beautiful unobstructed view of the mountains that can be enjoyed from both the bottom floor and main floor decks all year round.
The Rooms
Every room has a theme. The Master Bedroom is an homage to the great outdoors. The Loft Bedrooms are fraternal twins donned in red and green plaids respectively. The basement room pays tribute to the great Dolly Parton in a tasteful and understated way.
The cabin comfortably sleeps 8 guests. Our Black Bear Lodge is located at the end of cul-de-sac in the heart of Chalet Village, 25 minutes from Ober Gatlinburg Ski Resort and Amusement Park. Located 1.5 miles from downtown Gatlinburg and 30 minutes from the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. It is 15 minutes from Pigeon Forge and Dollywood, and 45 minutes from Knoxville Tennessee.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS: (if you're question is not answered here, please feel free to message us)
1. What Linens are included? – We provide linens for beds, bath towels, and wash cloths.
2. What household supplies are provided? – We get you started with 2 rolls of paper towels, 2 roll of toilet paper per bathroom, dish detergent, 2 dishwasher pod, 2 laundry detergent pod and kitchen trash bags.
3. What does the kitchen include? –The kitchen is stocked with everything you would expect in a normal kitchen plus a blender, toaster, slow cooker, various size pots & pans, wine glasses, a Keurig, and a regular coffee pot.
4. Do you provide a grill? – Yes! And it is gas.
5. Do you provide fire wood? – No, be sure to pick up some, as well as starter logs at the grocery store or gas station on your way in.
6. Do you allow pets? – NO. Under no circumstances do we allow pets.
7. Is the hot tub cleaned after every stay? – Yes! Our hot tub is drained, cleaned, and refilled for every stay.
8. Is there a community club house and pool area? – Yes, in Chalet Village, we have 3 community pools and clubhouses. The pools are open from Memorial Day Weekend in May through Labor Day Weekend in September.
9. Is the price flexible? - We do NOT offer discounts, nor do we eliminate or reduce any of the fees.
10. Do you ever reduce the stated prices – On occasion, if upcoming unsold dates remain, we may reduce prices for those unsold dates. That will already be reflected in the pricing that you see here.
11. When will I get the address and cabin access info? - Address, door code, and driving directions will be emailed in a separate message prior to your arrival.
12. What time is check-in and check-out? – You may check in any time after 4pm and you must checkout prior to 10am on the day of your departure.
13. Do you provide travel insurance? - If cancellation is a concern, we do recommend the purchase of Cancellation Protection from CSA (this does not go through us).
14. Can I cancel if the weather is bad? – Cancellations due to weather will not be refunded.
15. What TV package / channels do you provide? –We are providing smart TV with integrated streaming services that guests are more than welcome to log in to. The TVs also come equipped with Roku. We will also be providing a private media server with hundreds of your favorite movies both brand new and old.
16. What type of internet to you provide? – We provide unlimited Gigabit internet with Wi-Fi.
17. Are there any days where Check-in or Check-out is not permitted? - The only 3 days that we do not allow check-in or check-out are Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Years.
