With lack luster conditions back in Ohio/Michigan, we decided to brave the 28hr drive and try our luck out west. Alpine did not disappoint and neither did the house, great size and lay out for 6 guys. Enjoyed our stay and host was very accommodating

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication
Nice home very roomy and clean
We did love the home it was very spacious and very able to accommodate nine people. The only downfall is I felt like the pictures the house seemed more remote and it actually sits pretty close to the highway. The acres that the home backs up to it is not able to be access and no way for hiking or any other activities.
Stayed for a. Trip to Grand Tetons and Yellowstone. Great house - beautifully decorated, well stocked, great beds and linens/towels. Plenty of room. Best stocked rental we have ever had with basic toiletries, kitchen soaps, spices and paper products. Needed some fans as it was hotter weather than expected for this time of year and they were promptly provided. About an hour from Jackson airport. Easy drive to parks. Delish donuts in Alpine was awesome. Went on whitewater trip with Sands Whitewater - great trip - highly recommend the 8 man raft.
Amazingly quiet and private. Clean and well maintained. Sufficient amenities. Great deck. Comfortable beds and furniture. Classy interior with great woodwork and masonry. Highly recommend! Would stay again. Excellent communication with host. A+++!
The property is quiet and the location is beautiful. We had a family rehearsal dinner and brunch there and it was a great set up. The house is well stocked and very spacious.
Beautiful property that worked perfect for our group of 8, the pool table and TV were great. It had plenty of furnishings and bathrooms were fully stocked. The kitchen was heavily stocked with plates, cups, and cooking supplies as well.
Wonderful. We were so happy with how insulated each room is. Our 3 year old took naps in the bedroom adjacent to the great room and was never disturbed. Warm, inviting, perfect.
We can't rave enough about the Lucky Cub Ranch! Our family wanted a peaceful, cozy house to stay in for a white Christmas and it did not disappoint! The booking process was easy, the communication with the owner and property managers was excellent. They were extremely helpful answering all of our questions and went above and beyond to make our daughter's first Christmas extra special by making sure to have a decorated Christmas tree and beautiful outdoor lights ready for our stay!
The house itself is perfect and had all the amenities that we needed. The property was beautiful, such a magical serene lot where we were lucky enough to see elk every morning! Our family was even able to go sledding right on the property. We didn't need to leave the house and were able to enjoy a magical, white Christmas! Thank you to John, Kieth and the whole staff!
It was just my husband, myself and our 2 dogs. The welcoming pet policy is a real plus! We all enjoyed our stay at the Lucky Cub.
It's a one-of-a-kind location, at the end of a private lane. The sunsets from the deck are post card material. The pond was dried up (end of summer), but I bet it's great most of the year. There are ruins of an old cabin that are fun to explore. The yard is shady and cool, even on hot days.
The house is tastefully decorated. My one constructive criticism is that it is under-furnished for a large group. For the two of us, it was fine, but if I had a group of 12, it would not be adequate. For example, the dining table only seats 4 and the huge, beautiful deck only has 2 rocking chairs on it. If I was there with a large group, we would want to eat dinner together and hang out on the deck together. While there is lots to do in the area, the location of this house begs for some quality time just hanging out! The master bedroom is large and the bed is comfortable but it is very empty feeling. And what happened to the back deck? It would be totally awesome to rebuild that!
I gave the Lucky Cub 5 stars because my comments ares meant as constructive criticism, not complaints. It's a fabulous place.
The whole process from check-in to departure was seamless and any questions were promptly answered. The house was very clean.
Thanks again!
Pleasantly surprised by the amount of space for hanging out, cooking meals and playing pool. Beautiful views, Alpine is a neat little town and still so close to Jackson, Tetons and even got up to Yellowstone. Highly recommend!
We were 3 families with kids. They had nice experience , the house was clean, enough games to keep them busy. They enjoyed playing pool. The kitchen was well equipped with all the basic necessities. We liked the house decor as well. The house is about an hour drive from Jackson Hole and 90 mins from the Grand Teton national park.
