Rømø is known for its beautiful landscapes and wide sandy beaches. On the western side of Rømø it is allowed to drive by car on the beach and down to the water. The maximum speed is 30 km/h and the minimum distance to the sea is 20 m. However, at Marskhjørn Lå driving is prohibited.
