Come relax and unwind while enjoying beautiful mountain views and sunsets. This beautiful family-owned cabin is located only 10 minutes from downtown Blue Ridge and 20 minutes to downtown Ellijay! Hobnail Pass is meticulously cared for to ensure that you will enjoy a luxurious restful mountain getaway.

Hobnail Pass boasts cathedral ceilings with exposed beams and an all-wood interior. A unique, beautiful covered 360-degree wrap-around porch surrounds the main level. We have amazing long and short-range mountain views from every level in every season. Enjoy breathtaking sunsets each night from the hot tub, while relaxing by the outdoor fireplace on the screened porch, or from one of the cushioned rocking chairs. It’s a peaceful place to sit for hours.

This luxurious cabin offers three levels, each with a bedroom and full bath. The main and lower-level bedrooms offer queen beds and french doors that open to the porch or patio to take in the views. The master bedroom is located entirely by itself on the upper level and features a walk-in closet, 32” TV, Tempur-pedic king bed, and opens to its own private covered porch with rocking chairs. The master bath is well appointed and includes a jetted tub and separate shower.

We’ve paid close attention to every detail and have included everything you would expect from a luxury cabin rental, including Wi-fi, luxury linens, high-end furnishings and décor, a fully-equipped kitchen, HDTVs with Roku, pool table, corn-hole, a gas grill, and seating for outdoor dining.

Access to the cabin is extremely easy whether you have a car, SUV, or truck. The gated community offers paved roads and the gravel roads leading to the gates are graded and very well maintained.

Hobnail Pass is in an excellent location with plenty of options for adventure! Enjoy a fun day of exploring the quaint mountain town of Blue Ridge that offers great restaurants and wonderful shopping (only 5 miles away). Or, you can try your hand at the new casino located just 30 minutes north in Murphy, NC. If you want adventure, go zip lining, horseback riding, fishing, or take some time to explore the hiking trails. Mercier’s Orchard and Lake Blue Ridge are just minutes away, too!

This is a beautiful home. It is spacious, very well decorated and had everything you could ever need in the way of kitchen supplies, accessories, etc.The view from the back porches is simply stunning, and they are a great place to sit, relax and look at the mountains - or spend some time in the hot tub.It is very convenient both to Blue Ridge and Ellijay. It is simply a tremendous place to spend time in the Blue Ridge area, and we would love to stay here again in the future

Absolutely amazing

This cabin is simply stunning. From the Mountain View’s to the beautiful interior decorations and super comfortable beds. We had the best time hanging in the hot tub, sitting by the out door fire place and being very competitive while playing game after game of pool. Really close to downtown Blue Ridge and the host was so very kind. The only negative thing I could say was the road leading to the cabin is very narrow and steep, but you have to travel the steep roads to get to the best views.

The house is gorgeous, and the views are truly stunning. I would try to get there before dark because the road in is a bit tricky, but frankly, once you're there, it's hard to leave!!

Beautiful Clean Cabin, wonderful management

We came for a little Bachelorette getaway and loved the cabin so much! Lee was super helpful when we had an issue and it was resolved immediately (Thanks, Lee, you are a great host). The cabin was clean and well stocked, the views are amazing, and the drive up the mountain wasn't bad at all for our vehicle. Overall, I loved it and would love to come back again.

Anniversary getaway!

Six of us traveled as a family to celebrate my in-laws 62nd wedding anniversary! The house was perfect for our needs. We enjoyed the beautiful sunsets from the porch and relaxing without any worries. The house was clean and the beds were comfy. Would definitely stay again!

Georgia Vacation

The house was as advertised and expected. It had almost everything you could need. Beds were comfortable, towels were plush, view was amazing, kitchen was stocked and the location was private. We did loose all power and water for 18 hours due to a storm. We had to leave the doors and windows open which then caused all the fire alarms to keep going off, we think due to the neighbor having a generator. This was a nuisance and altered our sleep and vacation plans but overall the vacation was a relaxing one. Lee was pleasant to deal with and showed concern for the inconvenience that was out of his control. Only a generator could have made it better.

Beautiful Cabin, Perfect Area

We came for our first anniversary. We had a great time. The cabin was beautiful and clean. The view from the hot tub was amazing. The hosts made sure everything was perfect for us. The area is great. Close enough to town with great hiking, an hour from the Ocoee for white water rafting. Great restaurants in Blue Ridge, especially the Black Sheep. Wonderful experience. We will definitely be back.

Amazing Visit

Our visit to this immaculately clean & spacious cabin was a wonderful getaway experience. From enjoying the morning coffee on the back porch while taking in the majestic mountain views to sitting by the outdoor fire at night roasting marshmallows for smores. We played games of pool, were able to log into our streaming accounts on every TV to watch movies, used the grill for cooking out, and had the best overall family time. Downtown Blue Ridge was only 10 minutes away where we could shop, eat, and ride the scenic railway. The communication with the owner was prompt & efficient willing to answer any questions or assist w/ any needs. As an RN Case manager working in a busy hospital, this trip was exactly what I needed & family loved it too! Can't wait to return one day :)

Mountain Vacation

The home is beautiful and views are breathtaking. Very clean property with comfortable beds. We enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings while watching the sunset. Fireplace in screened in porch was perfect for making s’mores! Would recommend!

Comfortable and Well Equipped

The cabin was cozy and comfortable! I appreciated the communication with Lee and the concise directions. Being a family that cooks from scratch my wife was pleased with the availability of kitchen items needed to prepare meals. The beds were all very comfortable and we enjoyed the outdoor seating areas very much. The view and the grounds were all aesthetically pleasing and we found it was easy to unwind here for a few days. Peaceful & Private with amazing views

We spent our 26th wedding anniversary at this beautiful cabin. All the amenities you could hope for along with beautiful views and a private setting. The cabin was clean and fully stocked with nice towels, a kitchen with all the necessities, and we loved the basement for relaxing by the big screen tv. Great time!

Beautiful Views

If you are looking for a property with beautiful views, this is it! Decks accessible from each bedroom and the living areas provide optimal opportunities to enjoy the mountains. Don’t miss the sunset or the smoky morning vistas. Cabin was very clean (even by my OCD standards) and beds were very comfy. Hope we can return!

Cabin

So the cabin was nice, but the outside and the porches were dirty and needed to be cleaned. I know pollen is bad this time of year, but it was excessive and I would think they could’ve cleaned before we got there just with a hose would’ve helped on tables cushions and chairs. We did lose power for about 14 hours on one night and that’s understandable in the mountains, but they should consider strongly, some sort of generator to at least run the water pump and refrigerator and a few outlets. It was hard to stay in the house that length of time with the neighbors running their generator and all their lights on and us with a small flashlight, that was not very helpful and we had a heckuva time finding it. Disheartening. also needed some sort of kit if there’s a power outage and instructions on who to call to find out length of time. Just suggestion overall it was a good stay and a nice cabin.

Beautiful cabin and views!

We made a short trip to Cherry Log with our children and in-laws. The cabin was beautifully decorated and very clean. The view was phenomenal - especially from the hot tub! We enjoyed the indoor and outdoor fireplaces during our stay. The downstairs area was great for our kids to hang out and play while the adults socialized upstairs. Lots of room and great communication with the hosts. Would highly recommend and hope to return!

We had a wonderful weekend staying at this beautiful cabin! It was super comfortable, the kitchen was easy to get around and the view was magnificent! We are the typical American family with 2 wonderful kids and 2 dogs. My wife and I are native Georgians and love the area. We are very involved in our church and local community. My wife and I each enjoy traveling and exploring new places. It's been a dream for a while now to own our own vacation property. We are so excited to share our mountain home with you!

Why they chose this property

Honestly, the ride up to the cabin is absolutely gorgeous. It's a gorgeous canopy of trees and woods with a mountain stream flowing. As soon as we turn of the main road up to the cabin we roll down the windows to take in the woods and the sound of the water. It's an immediate escape. As soon as we pulled into the driveway, we knew that this was the place. The property is private and secluded with a circular driveway for easy access and parking. The cabin has a unique 360-degree-wrap-around-porch. The ceilings on the porch are tongue and groove and it's awesome to walk around the entire cabin to take in nature and the views. Sitting on the back porch or soaking in the hot tub with the mountain views is just awesome. We love the exquisite screened area of the porch that has a beautiful outdoor fire place. Then when you walk inside, the layout of the cabin is open yet private at the same time. The kitchen, dining, and living room are all open and the area has vaulted ceilings with wood beams. The interior of the cabin is all wood with plenty of natural light. A bedroom and bathroom is located on each of the 3 levels. The master bedroom is the only room upstairs and it is equally gorgeous with vaulted ceilings, wood beams, a private porch with views, and a well appointed master bath. There is a queen bedroom with access to the back porch on the main level and a third bedroom is located on the terrace level with access to the back patio. In the terrace level is a very nice reclining leather sectional with cable tv along with a pool table area. The views from the patio on the terrace level are also gorgeous. The property is meticulously maintained and it's very well appointed for a luxury cabin. It's an amazing place to escape to relax and unwind. It has space for family togetherness time while providing areas for privacy too. Everyone who visits the property falls in love with it just like we have.

What makes this property unique

The style of the cabin is very custom and the quality of the construction is second to none. The wrap-around porch is very unique to the area. Of course, the views! We have long-range and short-range mountain views in every season. You have total privacy while at the cabin yet you are only a few minutes to downtown Blue Ridge and everything else that the area has to offer. The furnishings and decor are extremely nice. It's truly everything that someone should expect when booking a high-end cabin rental.
