I believe this is our 4th stay at this property. It is just big enough for 2, and the location can’t be beat. Easy in and out with a code lock. Off street parking. Coffee maker, kettle, and mini fridge are nice to have available.
Third time staying here. Great location with off street parking. Walkable to everywhere in town and campus. Just big enough for 2 of us, and we appreciate having a coffee pot and kettle. Also, easy access with coded door lock.

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
Think poor art student abode
It wasn't quite what we expected. Kitchenette is a loose term. Most important for us was the coffee maker and grinder. Look for the refrigerator under the TV. The one thing to warn anyone short or a bit older is the clue foot tub. It would help if there was a stool and a rail to hold onto getting in and out of the tub.
Clean, comfortable, easy and great location. Everything worked while enough. Not fancy, but good. Highly recommend and at least $100 a night less than the hotel.
Stayed 2 nights in this property. Overall clean and stocked. Great location for visiting the college. Took property manager 12 hours to respond to an issue (messaged via app and text). Worked out OK as issue was small but disappointed that communication wasnt monitored knowing there were guests in the unit. Overall would stay again.
Enjoyed being close to the College. All necessities met. The air conditioning was difficult to work with closing vents helped, but was a bit stuffy. The other problem was noise from the highway in front. Big, noisy semis were common, making it necessary to “hang out” inside. Not your fault, of course, but totally unexpected. Thanks for your clean house.
I really enjoyed the fun and cozy place! It had all the amenities needed and was a very easy half block to Oberlin campus and Tappan Square. Jake and Kaelia were kind and responsive hosts.
We stayed in Oberlin as a quick get away for my husbands birthday. I booked this suite to be close to downtown and for something different rather than being in an impersonal hotel. It did not disappoint! The place was clean and cozy! It was nice having a separate room from the bedroom - for those of us that are early risers and don’t want to disturb anyone!
The weather was cold and snowy so we were not able to enjoy the closeness that this place was to the downtown area but we do plan on coming back in the summer. Highly recommended!!
Absolutely LOVED the cozy suite! Terrific location close to everything, food, shopping the con,
We felt warmly welcomed on a very cold and snowy travel day. The suite was comfortably appointed. The bed was perfect. The area in town was quiet. Virtually no road traffic after dark. Location is perfect for ease of getting excellent food, fun shoppers and entertainment at the con.
The perfect Oberlin location right in the middle of town just off the square. Very comfortable for my wife and me. One nit-picking point was there was coffee but only enough for three cups total for three days. We are from Seattle after all. Hah.
It was a nice stay for a night. The only issue I had was there were a few bugs (a centipede and a spider) inside the house that was unexpected and a little unnerving. But overall the cleanliness of the house was fine and it was a nice house for a quick stay.
The property is in walking distance to nearly everything Oberlin has to offer. Well maintained and with responsive hosts, I'd call this spot a true find.
The “kitchenette” lacked even a tiny freezer space, there was no counter, and the bathroom had the only sink which was tiny. Impossible to leave dishes clean as a result. Host charged us an EXTRA fee because he thought we didn’t leave space tidy enough. We’ve stayed many places and have never had this experience before.
