The bathroom floor was filthy. The bathrooms are old and meant for kids because the toilet and sink are so low to the ground. We enjoyed the beach, but probably won’t stay here again.

Condo with a view

We had a good time. If the weather had cooperated it would have been better but when the sun was out it was a wonderful view! Nice amenities in the resort and condones comfortable.

LOUD, NOT RESTFUL, IN HELL ALL WEEKEND !!

We booked this condo based on the photos in the VRBO website. The website did mention there may be construction going on on the grounds possibly affecting the amenities. We weren't concerned about the amenities because we were planning on being on the beach. We did not plan to use amenities. We arrived at 3:00 am Saturday am after driving from my son's football game. Very early Saturday morning, there were loud booms and loud noises that woke us. We were on the top floor. Directly beside our balcony and right outside the master bedroom was a construction chute. We were in the bedroom furthest away from the chute but were still awakened by the noise. Workers were sending chunks of concrete down the chute into large metal dumpsters. We immediately called Southern Vacation Rental who apparently owns the condo to report the disturbance. We explained the problem with the noise and construction and were told there was nothing they could do because VRBO stated there would be possible construction on the grounds. The representative that I spoke to could hear the noise on the other end of the line while I was inside the condo. She apologized for the noise but did not offer any solutions to the noise. We asked if she could move us, she stated no they could not. I asked if she could ask the property to have those workers work on other projects on the property and she said no, because workers are on strict schedules. After hanging up and realizing that noone planned to help us with this, we asked the workers ourselves how long they would be working and we were told they would be working all day all weekend. Needless to say, our trip was miserable. We couldn't rest, we couldn't watch TV, we couldn't have conversation. Because we couldn't get a refund to move to a different condo, we were stuck there. We will not rent from VRBO or Southern Vacation rentals again. We plan to post the photos and videos on Southern Vacation Rentals and VRBO Facebook pages to warn people that they can't rely on what is portrayed on the website photos. Not impressed

During booking, there were more additional fees tacked on than the price per night for the stay. Amenities card missing so could not use gym or pool for the first day. Dishwasher did not work. Location is great just need some improvements.
