Get ready for a relaxing Montana experience! Nestled in the quiet mountains just south of Kalispell, our 6 acre property boasts abundant wildlife, meandering Patrick Creek, and plenty of tranquility. Skiing and lake life are only a few miles away, not to mention hiking right off your back deck to 6000 acres of publicly accessible forest land. Drive a little further up Patrick Creek Road to some spectacular hiking with views overlooking Flathead Lake and the little town of Somers. After hiking, drive a quick 4.5 miles north to the Foys Lake Public Beach for a quick dip to cool off or enjoy a whole afternoon there with kids.

Our new construction one bedroom, one full bath apartment features vaulted ceilings, open concept, a fun double bed hideaway loft, queen living room sofa sleeper, king master, galley kitchen, granite dining table with seating for 6, a private deck with grill and Starlink high speed internet. Parking is available under a covered carport from which there is a flight of stairs up to the private entrance of the apartment.

Come and enjoy Glacier National Park and then soak up a quiet evening on the deck watching the horses graze! Crib and highchair accomodations can be made. We look forward to hosting you soon!

Absolutely Worth the Drive!

I'm so glad we found this place on here! It's just a couple miles outside of town & so worth the drive. The property is so peaceful! The apartment was cute & cozy. The owner did a fantastic job making this place welcoming & homey. Would 1000% recommend to anyone & everyone!

The surroundings were so peaceful and quiet, removed from the city lights. The apartment itself was so clean and inviting and cozy. The location is close enough to the city for shopping and dining but far enough away to see the stars at night. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend.

Super clean, very thoughtful/useful amenities for my family (seriously, you can tell that the host has raised kiddos!) All around lovely, Amber was SO kind… My only comment is to clarify that the rental space is directly connected to owners home & over their double garage area, which was in use for vehicle repair while we were there. The noise didn’t bother us, but we would’ve preferred a separated structure for the rental space. {perhaps the ad actually did say that but I didn’t see it, my apologies} Again, super lovely but it was more of a home stay experience than what we were expecting. Lovely stay

We enjoyed our stay very much. The space was adorable and elegant. The host was super friendly and befriended our daughter with her love of animals. The location was very peaceful. I would very much recommend this place, the family and space were great.

Far enough from town to be secluded and quiet, close enough to drive to Kalispell quickly to eat or shop. Easy access to Flathead Lake and still a short drive to Glacier or other cities north.

Beautiful, quiet, cabin-like

Beautiful views of mountains, wildlife (wild turkeys and deer), as well as the property owner's horses. The cleanest and most organized short-term rental we've ever been in--many have random items left from various trips previous, incomplete dishes, etc.--but not Mama Tia's, this one was like we were the first people to stay. Shouldn't be surprising knowing that the owner is nearby and herself owns a cleaning business. Cookware, all the appliances, dishes, and spices available, Keurig with coffee pods, as well as a small (about the size of a pack 'n play) crib for our 2-year-old was perfect. Very nice deck out the front porch (back of the main house, which is more private as well) with a table, chairs, BBQ, and flowers. Though this space is technically attached to the main home (second floor accessible via the deck), there aren't really shared walls, and a double-door pass-through via the apartment pantry makes a very effective sound barrier--never heard anyone else!

Quick Trip to Kalispell Montana

At the last moment we decided to make a quick trip to Kalispell Montana to look at some puppies that were available. Amber's apartment was available so we stayed there. The VRBO was clean and had absolutely everything that we needed. There was even a bed in the loft and a sofa sleeper in the living area where more people would be comfortable. The VRBO is in the country where it's quiet but not far from Kalispell where you can do many things. I. would highly recommend this to anyone going to the area.

Lovely cabin like loft in the woods

Beautiful setting, quiet, comfortable, and quaint! This was not our first stay here and it definitely won’t be our last! We truly feel and are treated like family! The place is always clean and well equipped! Depending on the time of year that we visit there are always treats: fresh eggs, homemade bread, hot apple cider by the fireplace, and if you are lucky you will encounter a lovely teenager tending to the animals or gathering firewood. The bed is very comfortable as is the sofa in the spacious living room. If we need anything the host is always willing to help provide or guide us to the nearest store. Thank you once again for a wonderful visit to our little paradise!

AMAZING!

I had a great week. I loved the location - it was remote enough to be in the wilderness with the deer and close enough to great restaurants in Kalispell and White Fish (cute downtown shopping, dining, etc.). The property is beautiful, I loved the private back deck for coffee in the morning while listening to the chickens. Everything was very clean, quiet and just perfect! Thank you to hosts Amber and Scott for your helpfulness as well. (OH, and the puppies are an extra added bonus!). I'll definitely be back.

Liked to stay longer

Unfortunately we only had one night to stay as we were basically traveling through. The surroundings are very peaceful and quiet and you feel you are more imbedded in the local community. The space was as advertised and comfortable. Even though it was a hot day, it cooled down pleasantly at night without the AC unit having to run. We had relatives with us from Europe so glad we could get out in the country to experience Montana.

What makes this property unique

We love this home. We appreciate the gorgeous creek and the dancing forest life. We enjoy raising a few animals and learning about God's creation, right from our backyard. It's just enough out of town to have space and views, yet close enough if you run out of marshmallows to roast! A couple of piglets, a few chickens, and a couple of Whoodle puppies makes it whole. The turkeys, deer, fox, and the occasional elk are worth the time on the back deck!
