Our theory, and maybe yours too, is vacations are meant for relaxation, adventure and quality time with the people you travel with. We think the ski-in/out Columbia Place is precisely the place to reach vacation nirvana. Located in the center of the Mountain Village core, this skier's condo is located just steps from shops and restaurants and a short walk to the free gondola that connects Mountain Village to the historic town of Telluride. With ski resort and bike park views and just a few stairs between you the great vast outdoors, your adventures await.

This one-bedroom-plus-sleeping loft has a well-equipped kitchen, an open-concept living space with deck access, and a dining area off the kitchen with a TV. The bedroom has an en suite bathroom and a custom walk-in glass shower. Everything you need! Now go have fun.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Perfect Mountain Retreat

This condo is amazing. Love the location, comfy beds, nice amenities and of course, the incredible view of Telluride’s mountains. Would highly recommend and will definitely book again for our next trip.

Aspen love

This unit looked out on Aspen trees and hummingbirds actually perched there. The layout was clever altho if steps are problem there are those up to the loft room, then main room. The main bedroom was clean, bright and relaxing. A glass shower was tastefully done and reminded me of what a waterfall in the garden of Eden might have felt like.

Great little stay!

Parking was very secure, but only one vehicle and short walk to the condo. Was very clean, no issues getting in. Pretty hard to find the dumpster but found it eventually. All in all, we’d rent here again.

good and not so good

Overall we had a good stay. The place was clean which is important to us. The location was great as we were right near the gondola for easy access to Telluride and the market. The downside to the location is trying to find a place to park to unload and load everything to and from your car. The temporary parking worked when we first got there but there weren't any spot when we were leaving so I had to turn around and go back to the garage to finish packing up our car. In any event the walk stinks when carrying all of your belongings up and down the pathways and up all the stars. We found the beds to be uncomfortable and didn't get the best sleep. It almost seemed like over inflated air mattresses even though they weren't air mattresses, it was strange. No real air conditioners but rather portable air coolers that realistically aren't much better than a regular fan. During the day indoor temps were in the 80's and at night maybe a couple degrees cooler. If there were screens on the windows that would help keep bugs out. The second floor room doesn't have any windows so that room just stays hot and not a good place to sleep. The wifi was useless as others have stated. It rarely worked and when it did it was super slow. I tried resetting the modem and router but that didn't help. I had to make a hotspot with my phone. Also the couch was the wrong choice for the living room. Having a low back couch up against a counter top is painful when you sit down forgetting about it.

Location location location!

The unit has been recently redone very tastefully! I very much appreciated plenty of towels, hooks and kitchen supplies (we don’t cook, but seems to have all the goods) Couch is super comfy…beds were not bad, pillows just ok. unit was stuffy, AC units in rooms were in each bedroom~ could have used an easy guide vs the manual! Overall, it was perfect for our needs and the location couldn’t be beat! VERY clean and organized… we did get check in instructions from both rental management company and booking agency~ not a huge deal, but had conflicting information/directions.

Truly a Memorable, Beautiful Treat - We will be back!

The location could not get any better! Right on the slopes, right next to the gondolas, and the views are absolutely amazing!! So easy to get to anything, even Telluride. We parked our car and never touched it again until we were leaving. Comfortable beds, awesome showers, large kitchen, great wifi, very clean, the list goes on.

Great location

We loved that this was right next to the Gondola which made it super easy to get to Telluride or the market. The glass wall was also really cool. Overall it’s a cute place to stay and I’d definitely see if this place is available if we are in the area again.

Buyer Beware

Outside of location, everything else is poorly managed. You are right next to the slopes but this appears to be an investment property managed by a company that doesn't care. Issues: - directly above pizza restaurant - be prepared to smell pizza all day/ night. - master bathroom shower didn't drain.. I had to scoop water out with a plastic cup to resolve. - door code never worked- only got in through key in unlocked box by door. Management company never resolved. - lots of stairs and you're going to drag luggage around town to get to condo. - kitchen was a disaster - dish washer didn't work, hodgepodge of cups, bowls, etc. (nearly all chipped and only large spoons) - Wifi didn't work half of the time; don't worry, they will direct you to unplug it! - Half of the blinds wouldn't go up... can't open and see outside from Master. - Management company didn't want to give us more than 4 towels, they kept telling us to look in the cabinets... there are zero cabinets/ no storage. Be prepared to have all of your clothes/ gear laying around in the open.

Great Location

The condo is located just a short walk from the gondola and several restaurants, so it’s very convenient. Kitchen is well-equipped. In-unit washer/dryer is appreciated, because it minimizes the amount of clothing we need to pack. The small balcony off the living area was a pleasant spot for morning coffee.

Excellent location & incredible view

Located in the heart of mountain village this cozy villa gave our family the perfect central spot to ski, dine & shop. 5 steps from the stairs you can ski in/out. Amazing. It’s modern design of the bathrooms & amenities like the shampoo/bath gel& lotion was an unexpected treat. Highly recommended for family with young adult children. The view of the main slope, the balcony & the close proximity to the gondola was superb. We enjoyed every moment we had there & loved watching Christmas movies together on the huge LR smart TV. Thanks for the memories. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Perfect Mountain Getaway

Badly Functioning Condo

As a person with an injury, this place has terrible access. No nearby elevator or parking. There is a constant smell of garbage/sewer. The main bathroom sink and shower are clogged. For the price per night, this place should be avoided.

Great Location

Great Location, uses its space nicely. Second bedroom is great for kids. Full kitchen. Comfy and relaxing, great views of the action. My only complaint was entry code/check-in was difficult (wrong info provided). Very difficult to speak with Vacasa. Was on hold for 15-20 minutes on each call, with no response on certain requested item. They do not respond in a timely manner to email either.

Ideal ski location, cozy, clean condo

As family of four with two young adults, the condo was perfect location for skiing. Ski in/out from Village Express, Chondola, and Sunshine lifts and just steps to the Gondola. The unit is on the second floor above Crazy Elk Pizza in the heart of Mountain Village. The ski locker is immediately outside unit. We have stayed around the world in Airbnb’s, VRBO rentals, and Inspirato. This condo is well appointed with all essential amenities and was very clean. The unit is cozy and used it’s space well. The second bedroom has mattresses on the floor- good for family with young adults, but would not recommend for older individuals. While initially thought having a second shower within the primary bedroom was awkward, it came in handy and worked well for our family when getting ready in the AM and dinner. If you are a light sleeper, please note that during ski season you may be able to hear the groomers and snow cats throughout the night from primary- not an issue for us. Minor suggestions would be to put a small mirror in the primary bedroom over the sink and the condo property management should sand/salt back stairs- they were icy and the easiest way to get to slopes. We took matters into our own hands on two occasions and added salt/sand. Bottle of wine and gift card to Brewery was left for us which was a nice touch-thank you. The pictures are accurate. Enjoy
